I had a very similar experience to Paulo B -- a great one! After an accident that crumpled up the front of my Ford Focus hatchback I contacted Horn's after reading about their great reviews. Since this was my first big accident I wasn't sure how the whole process actually worked with picking an outside repair shop besides the one provided by the insurance company but John explained things and assured me I'd be taken care of whenever I wanted to drop by their shop, no appointment needed. I came by the next morning and they remembered my call the day before which was nice because I felt like they worked a little extra to make me feel better about not know what the heck I was doing...haha. One of the things that appealed to me about Horns was the readily available complementary shop/rental cars they provide to customers while their own cars were being repaired. When I was completing my paperwork John arranged to have a rental car be brought in for me. However, less than 5 minutes of waiting for the rental, during which time I went to clean stuff out of my poor broken car, the owner, Patrick, stopped by to introduce himself and let me know that there's a brand new Toyota Camry that I could use instead of the rental. Uhh sure, I'll take it! Patrick even offered to switch out the car if I needed to because I mentioned it was significantly larger than my own car and the parking situation in my apartment is a bit tricky. Lucky this wasn't needed but I had no doubt they'd accommodate me if it was. It took about 3 weeks to do the repairs during which time John thoughtfully provided calls and text message updates. Plus, they even squeezed in a last minute repair for a pre-existing problem with severe vibrations I've noticed that's gotten progressively worse over the course of the past year. I feel the vibrations may have gotten worse after the accident but my car was in such bad shape already it wasn't even something worth fighting the car insurance company to cover. In any case, Patrick mentioned he noticed the vibrations too and had one of his guys check it out and fix it at my request since it was in the shop anyway. I'm sure this may have been a little bit of an inconvenience because they probably got the thing cleaned up and buffed after the initial repairs but they didn't let on if so. When I picked up my car and drove it home, and even after the first few days after having it back, I could not stop smiling, laughing and genuinely enjoying driving my car again after about a year of seriously considering selling it. The front repair work looks fantastic, the whole car detail makes it shine like it hasn't in a long while and there is absolutely no more hint at the horrible vibrations that's plagued me for so long. It's funny that I previously took my car for a diagnostic check specifically for the vibrations but to no avail -- the other shop said it was fine and that the motor mounts weren't due for a change yet, I feel partially because they were busy too busy and partially because they didn't sit and drive in the car themselves in which case they'd have felt how bad it actually was. In a way I'm a tiny big thankful for getting into the accident because it brought me to Horns where I pretty much got a brand new car. Thanks so much to John and Patrick for being so responsive and patient about my questions regarding the accident repairs as well as the attention to my car as a whole. To top it all off everybody I encountered there provided warm and professional service throughout a potentially difficult process. This is a very good body shop. Some lady hit my Porsche Cayenne on the right fender/bumper. When i got it back it looked like the first day i drove it off the dealer lot. It was hard to tell where they painted the car. The color match was very good. There were no orange peel marks like the original Porsche paint. Other low quality body shop rush the color sanding/polishing stage and you have nasty orange peel paint. Ive could of taken it to the Porsche dealership but very few dealer do in house body repairs and they secretly send it to places like Horns auto body and charge you double. read more

I totally recommend this place! I was involved in a very bad wreck in which the entire left, rear side of my still very new Lexus was smashed in. I wish I could award 10 stars to Horn's Collision for the terrific work they performed on our truck, when, after two weeks of 'haggling' with Eurotech Collision, Eurotech insisted on totaling our truck due to frame damage in a rear end collision. Luckily, Mr. Patrick Horn stepped in and very professionally handled the frame issue plus some body work. We cannot thank him enough. Horn's doesn't look like much from the street, but they are very well organized and surprisingly clean for a body shop on the inside. "I have been helping a friend, Victor Besana, repair his 2005 Hyundai after an accident very early this year. Victor found Horn's Collision CEnter, 1427 Long Beach Blvd for the repair. There was substantial damage. Patrick Horn, the owner, provided a fair estimate, repaired the car and provided Victor with a free loaner car for nearly three weeks. The repair looked great when complete. Patrick is always very warm and helpful. Victor's air conditioning began to fail after the repair. (it was damaged in the front end accident). After all this time we called Patrick and he said to bring it in. We brought the car in today and Patrick was good for his word and repaired the car with no charge, and again in a very friendly and warm manner. Not only did Horns fix the problem (perfectly) they did it for over $1,000.00 cheaper than the other body shop. I have a very discerning eye and they did an amazing job! Within minutes of arriving, the owner, Patrick, came up and met with me. He was very cordial and and sat down with me for a repair estimate. It was a good, detailed estimate. During the repair process, they called me if there were any issues or changes to the estimate, and they always checked with me first before they performed work that wasn't on the original estimate. They were very open and honest. The repair time didn't take long, even after I asked them to take their time (about two weeks). In the end, my BMW looked great. Super job on the color matching.
