The food was bad, the service was terrible, the blonde female bartender was so rude. She was rude to every other customer and made all of our experiences' terrible. We arrived in Breck yesterday. We had an outstanding dinner last night elsewhere. Then a delicious lunch elsewhere. My 3 tacos were so-so. I was disappointed. My husband had a Tex Mex burger. He was also disappointed. I found later that our server was the bartender so it makes more sense that our service was lackluster. He probably had other responsibilities. We we're looking for a new place to try while we were in town this summer and the picture of the grilled Caesar salad on Yelp! won me over. We were really impressed this place and can't wait to go back. Our server couldn't have been more friendly. The ambience and decor was great (it has the most beautiful staircase and rooftop dining). A couple of proteins that we ordered were a tad overcooked, but the flavors were fantastic and every single thing is scratch made (down to the croutons on the salad and the cheese crusted tortillas). Yummy Happy hour! We went to Breckenridge on a day trip. We stopped in and had happy hour on the rooftop. We ordered the carne asade nachos. They were SO good! The meat was tender and tasty. Went here for dinner on a busy night in Breckenridge and glad we did. Service was fast and friendly, the menu is more interesting than most of the other restaurants in town we looked at (and we looked at a lot) and the food was outstanding. I had the Mexican Meatloaf and even though I wasn't starving I destroyed the entire generous portion on my plate. The fish taco was superb and our little boys shared one order of mini corn dogs - which came with like 12 little corn dogs. Never got the drinks we ordered, didn't get a single drink refill, never was checked on, and had to flag someone down to pay. And despite the horrible service, no one was apologetic. Poor service, mediocre food, overall unpleasant experience. Not sure if our waiter was still drunk or just hung over, but his diminished mental function was hard to watch. If anticipating a guest's needs is the mark of good service, this was the complete opposite. Coffee was dropped off with no milk, milk dropped off with no spoon, food dropped off with no cutlery, fork was dropped off with no knives. Painful how many unnecessary trips it took just to be able to consume the food and drinks we ordered - all of which were stone cold by that time. Marisa was our server and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the menu choices. The ambience was great as we sat on the second floor with a lot of ambient light.
