Everything bagel with taylor ham & egg
Rose C.

I came here on a Friday afternoon craving a breakfast sandwich. It wasn't too busy. But the staff seemed a bit distracted. It took a bit before i got someone's attention to get my order. I got the everything bagel with Taylor ham and egg. I wanted taylor ham, egg and cheese but they forgot the cheese. They have a wide selection of bagels and a variety cream cheese. The bagel I had was fresh, soft and delicious. It seems like the menu had decent options for lunch as well. I might consider ordering online ahead of time so I'm in and out next time. They do have a parking lot that they share with other business so that's a plus. Overall it's a decent place to grab something to eat for breakfast/brunch or lunch.

Fluffy, fresh, large, breadlike, salt-flavored bagels, like the supermarket. I guess this makes sense if you're having a sandwich... Some interesting flavors, like blueberry and everything/egg multigrain.

It's my fav breakfast to go spot in Montclair but don't order online- you can't pick the home fries which are delicious!! It defaults to the Hashbrown :-( I'm the home fries kinda gal!

To the (owner?) who yelled at me today for wanting lettuce, tomato, cucumber or onion on the Chicken Caesar salad platter I ordered. I didn't make it up - Here's your online menu.

This was the last place we ate at in Montclair on our way upstate and it was great! I ordered an Everything Bagel, toasted with Low-Fat Veggie Cream Cheese and it was spectacular. I am so envious of my friends in Montclair who have regular access to these bagels. The place also has a wide variety of breakfast style bagels including meat and cheese options. I would highly recommend trying this place out even if it's a bit out of the way!

This picture doesn't do the bagel justice. The service was amazing and they walked us through the little details of what to add. For example a squeeze of lemon juice inside which brought out the salmon flavor much more. The store has no seating and the roof was leaking water when I was there. But to be fair I'm there for the bagels so it was not an issue.

Good bagels and prices. Parking can be annoying. Prefer beyond the bagel more.

I prefer the place on Broad St. in Bloomfield, but this place is also good. The servers are very good.

Good bagel, but terrible service. Went here on Thanksgiving Day and was ignored by the staff who actively sought out the people behind me.

too good, just too good a deli to pass up. The bagels and cream cheese options are incredible, especially for the price.

Everyone has their favorite bagel place and this is mine. Line on the weekend and early mornings can be long but the wait is worth it.

Great bagels and turkey sandwiches!! I find the coffee to just be ok but I like good, strong coffee so can be picky.

Whenever I come home to visit my parents I always get a few breakfast Sammie's from BTB while I'm in town. I look forward to it. Some of the reviews say "this place doesn't understand the customer service industry" which is wild bc it's been here my whole life, serving up good bagels and sandwiches at competitive prices. The people who work and own it are old school North Jersey -- the types of people who you see increasingly less of as yuppies price them out of town. It's not chic, bougie or self-consciously trying to be something other than what it is, which is a to-go breakfast/lunch spot, so I guess that's confusing to people who are used to viral sandwich shops with grass walls or whatever. What do you want, a kiss on the lips? Go back to Brooklyn if you don't like it.

That's ok but not great. I went to check on my dog that was tied up outside. Two minutes later I walk back in and the gloves were off and she was handling my food. I just paid the $5 and threw it out. The service was also very bad!

I'm a big everything bagel guy (and either with BEC or with just plain untoasted with butter). They always have some fun variations on the typical everything bagel. Love when they have the Asiago Everything available - what a treat! Tons of cheese melted on top and it just goes really well with whatever you pair it with. Been going here now and then for years. Not always the easiest spot to get parking (the lot can fill up for sure) and sometimes there's a wait, but the bagels are always super fresh and delicious. Highly recommended if you're in the Clifton area or coming through and need a bite. Just realize there are no tables or anything, so you may have to bring home or eat in your car!

I went to Bagels by Jarrett tonight based on a recommendation from an Instagram influencer…read more I have to say, they have a weird setup. You can't go in the actual restaurant. If you ordered ahead of time, you park in front of the restaurant and wait in your car as a girl comes and gives you your order. Otherwise, you go into the restaurant next door, The Slice Shop, and order from a tablet. Odd. I wound up ordering The Cutlet Joe Triple Decker. It was a good sandwich, don't get me wrong, but it costs $22. That's kinda wild. It comes with a side of chips, pickles, and coleslaw. I also ordered a buffalo ranch slice from the slice shop, which cost $5. Also decent. I definitely appreciate the uniqueness of their menu, but I won't be returning for a long time due to the high prices.

Jarrett serves everything, and I mean everything -- bagels, pizza, cheesesteaks, subs...need gluten free? He's got that too The food speaks for itself...everything tastes fresh, perfectly textured, and is consistently excellent. But what really sets this place apart is the pride behind it. You don't get that rushed, transactional vibe here. You get someone who actually wants you to have a great experience, and it shows in every interaction and order. Customer service is second to none. Jarret is friendly, transparent, present, and genuinely invested in what he's doing. That's rare these days -- and it makes the whole place feel different in the best way. You feel not just satisfied, but impressed. Like you just found a spot you're going to keep going back to without even thinking about it.
