Hotlanta more like hot garbage $22.00 for garbage food. Even though the service was great the food sucks. I ordered the ribs fish and chicken combo with Mac and cheese and potato salad. What I was given was salty food the fish was dry no flavor, the chicken "wings" weren't even wings they gave me chicken strings, the ribs were drenched in sauce still no flavor, the mac and cheese salty and dry. Only good things were the potato salad and hush puppies. I wanted soul food left with my soul starving and my blood pressure high. I Threw away half my plate. Stopped here one night because it was the only place open on a Thursday night. They stay open until midnight and even some days until 2am. And they were packed! The wait was about an hour. But it was fresh and filled with flavor. Ordered the ribs, bbq baked beans, and cheesy macaroni. The next day we decided to try them for breakfast. This time I placed a over the phone! They said it would be 45 minutes, but then I got there an had to wait in additional 30 min. I ordered the red velvet waffles but the batter wasn't right so they had to make me the buttery waffle instead. We also ordered the salmon with eggs, home style potatoes, side of French toast, bacon and eggs, grits, hush puppies, and banana pudding. The buttery waffle was still good! I wasn't crazy for the hush puppies. I now constantly crave their banana pudding. The strawberry banana pudding is a must! I was finally able to order the red velvet waffle and it was so good! It tasted like warm cake! Everything tastes home cooked! Sometimes they run out of the red velvet batter or the cream. Be prepared to wait at least an hour for you food. I got 2 catfish dinners today 3/30/23 and there was absolutely barely any fish and all batter. Both of our dishes. Also i HIGHLY recommend to phone in your order because they take A LONG TIME... Overall the place is decent but i wouldnt put it on my top list of chicken spots. Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner with a welcoming hand shake and asked if we had any questions. They did warn it might be a little wait but we didn't mind at all! They had some jams and great vibes inside. I ordered the plate- 2 ribs, sausage link, and chicken, I also got the mac and cheese, as well as the corn bread. We got our food in no time everything was SO GOOD! The ribs were sooo tender, flavorful, sweet, and juicy. The Mac and cheese was honestly the best I have ever had, the corn bread was very delicious! My husband had the chicken sandwich with baked beans and Mac cheese. Before he devoured the sandwich I was able to get a couple bites and my oh my! The crust was crunchy and went perfectly with the juicy chicken, one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. Second time I Ordered through Yelp and second time I paid for missing food, the first time they didn't give me the Ranch I paid for and the second time the Ranch and side of Greens were missing which is annoying cause again it isn't like your not waiting over an hour for your food to be ready.
