The pictures on the menu look great the item sound enticing however food did not look anything like the advertise pictures also the overall price for the food is very expensive. I usually don't bother doing reviews but this isn't the first bad experience I've had with this restaurant. I called around 6 and asked if I could purchase an entire apple pie and was told that it would be really expensive and that I should just go to a bakery and save money. I explained that it was my boyfriends birthday and he is in love with their apple pie. The girl on the phone told me that it would cost around 40$. I told her to reserve me a pie and I'd be there in an hour. I get to the restaurant and they hand me two bags when I get home I realize they have individually packaged each slice and when I open the boxes I see that they have thrown the pieces in piles into the boxes. None of the boxes have anything resembling a slice. The customer service at this location definitely leaves me wanting. read more

My friends and I went here on a Friday night so we expected a wait time which was no problem. The host stated that he was doing 6 jobs at once which let us know they were understaffed. We waited about 30 minutes before being seated and about 10 minutes before the waiter came to the table. The waiter was super nice! I had the salmon with potatoes and green beans-- the green beans came out cold. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the potatoes were great. My friend had the steak which she ordered medium well, and it came out medium. According to her, the steak wasn't seasoned well and came out cold. she also found a hair at the bottom of her plate. Another friend has the pasta which she described as bland and unseasoned. My food came out after my friends were done eating. The waiter gave us free drinks for the inconvenience, which was nice. read more

I'm staying at the Double Tree. houlihan's is in the hotel. I placed my room service order at 7pm and the nice young lady said it would be to my room in 20-30min. At 8pm I called to check on my order. The gentleman who answered the phone confirmed my order and said it would be up in 10-15min. And apologized for the delay... at 9pm my room service was still not delivered. I called the manager. Even though it had been 2 hours I was nice when I complained because I was still thinking they would be brining my food and I didn't want them to spit in it. The manager, without apology said "sorry, we will cancel your order."... I mean, I guess the "I'm sorry" portion could be considered an apology... lol. All I can do is laugh (and go to sleep hungry) but I wanted to at least warn others... read more

I have eaten here twice and I must say that it was a great experience. I have only tried the Thai wings and I will swear by them being the best wings I have had. They aren't covered with too much sauce and are the right texture. The service is great both times I went. I left the servers great tips. The restaurant has a very sleek look and it is great for a date or to get a few drinks. I haven't tried anything else on their menu but if it is anything like the wings then it is recommended. We stopped by from out of town. We were very pleased with our entire meal from a strip steak to burger. Post pandemic it is apparent as with many places that some of the wait staff is new or newer. The food and service have been excellent. I've been a recent patron for the past few weeks but it has been a most pleasurable experience. I've visited both the downtown and the doubletree locations and the experience has been night and day. Robert Anness and the staff (Jackie, Brittni, Hope, Zach and all the others at the Airport Thruway) have been phenomenal. My faves are the Thai chicken w/potatoes and asparagus, but my wife loves all of the seafood entrees. Either way, you won't be disappointed. read more

Because this restaurant is attached to my hotel I stayed for dinner last night and breakfast today. For dinner I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. My only issue is that the waitress didn't stop by my table for 25 minutes after I was served. It would've been nice to have had another drink. If You are going here for breakfast don't order off the menu. He took over 40 minutes to get an omelette. I had to flag down waitress to ask about it and even she was shocked I hadn't been served. Gee, I thought that was her job? The explanation was that The kitchen "was not seeing their orders" Too bad they can't get it together. The location is convenient. We stayed at the adjoining Doubletree during a several day stop and enjoyed eating at Houlihan's several times, including for the breakfast buffet, a lunch, and a dinner. All were excellent. Service is friendly and helpful. We liked the restaurant and were not motivated to find anywhere else to eat. read more

Horrible service! There is either not enough servers or not enough cooks! Went there for brunch and ordered the crab and avocado Benedict and it came out ice cold! Had to wait forever just to get the waitress attention to heat it up. They took it back to "heat" up my food and you could tell they scorched it in the microwave, to the point that the hollandaise was no longer liquid. At this point my food was no longer edible. Took even longer to flag my waitress down to send it back and get something else. It did not help to see other tables with larger parties come and go. Super disappointed with my Mother's Day brunch. It is now 2:25 and we still have not got the check. We have been here since 12:00 and have been waiting over an hour for the waitress to bring the check. If I could give them zero stars I would! So this has to be one of the worst experiences of customer service... EVER!!!! I met with a girlfriend here at noon for a quick brunch and mimosas. It's 2:20pm, and we are still here. We've watched other tables with bigger parties come and go, and we have yet to get the service we need. IF we hadn't ordered a bottle of champagne for mimosas, this situation may have gotten very ugly. My friend ordered the Eggs Benedict with avocado. It came out ice cold. It took what seemed like half an hour for us to get someone to do something about it. Once they brought her food out, it was very obvious that they'd nuked it rather than put it in the over or simply remake the dish. Another what seemed like 30 minutes later, we get someone to take her plate away and bring out nachos. I mean... who can mess up nachos, right? Well... the waitress didn't even bring out silverware in order to eat this loaded heap. So... here we still sit feeling like we are being held hostage with a plate of half-eaten loaded nachos and an empty champagne bottle. The check was requested eons ago, but I guess that takes forever to get too, right? I mean... we just want to get out of here... FOREVER. And our water glasses didn't even get refilled. You're better off going to a Waffle House and eating their food for literally a tenth of the cost here. Their breakfast was very basic and just a little steep. The silverware was literally disgusting! Get plasticware unless you're fine with eating left of bits from the previous customer. The waffles tasted like they were made with confectioners sugar. Very big fan of this location. Been to the other location a few times, visited this location and the welcoming atmosphere was just wonderful. My son loves coming here as well. I stayed at the Double Tree for 3 nights on business, and ended up eating here all three nights! The chicken fingers were awesome, the cheese burger was great, and they even made me a grilled cheese one night! Great food and service. One suggestion would be to have a bowl of peanuts on each table and to allow the guests to discard of the shells onto the floor. Some places do that. read more

NO CONCERN FOR COVID-19!!!! Deeply concerned about the poor customer service at the Houlihans located inside the Doubletree Hotel in Columbus, Ga. I was completely ignored when I entered the restaurant and stood at the front waiting to be acknowledged and/or seated. When the waitress finally stopped to speak and I informed her they I wished to sit outside on the patio due to COVID, she stated that I probably wouldn't get service out there for a very long time. She stated they the bartender was the other server and she was busy with her customers at the bar. I asked her what did she suggest, and she stated I should sit inside. I then spoke with the bartender who asserted that the waitress would serve me outside if I wanted to go out there. She stated that she doesn't go out there. Less than a minute later, I overheard the bartender and waitress having a heated discussion about who would serve me outside. Both of their tones sounded HARSH and UNPROFESSIONAL in regards to providing me service outside. I then went outside hoping someone would come out to take my order. NO ONE CAME. I went back inside and asked the bartender to speak with the manager and was told that he was running around somewhere, but she at that point made NO effort to assist me. Because I waited and insisted, the bartender finally alerted the manager who came out and PROVIDED NO ASSISTANCE NOR AN APOLOGY. He offered me a drink and stated I could sit outside and wait. I am SHOCKED and DISGUSTED that a restaurant of this caliber located at a hotel of the Hilton brand provided such POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and most significantly, demonstrated a LACK OF REGARD FOR ITS CUSTOMER's CONCERN FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH. read more

I went to Houlihans around 8:30 on a Sunday night, I had just gotten into town after a long drive From New Orleans. It was close to my hotel and I just wanted a sandwich. I have had been to other Houlihans in the past and had some good meals there. Unfortunately this wasn't one of them. I ordered the roast beef, it came out quick but the beef was terrible, rubbery and dry (obviously not cooked on site) the au jus was extremely salty..even for me, and the fries were cold, not just not very hot but actually COLD. After 15 minutes, no exaggeration, I finally got my servers attention. I ordered a burger instead and it was just ok. read more
