The night we went, they had the regular Dole Whip frozen drink and ube as the rotating flavor. Both were dope! It's only a few bucks more to add a rum floater, but I stopped doing that. The drink tastes so good I finish it in minutes, and I prefer not to get hammered on a Wednesday night. No kitchen is the only real downside. People bring food in or DoorDash it, which works. Parking can be tough sometimes because of the other businesses around the plaza. It can get cold in there from the A/C, so bring a sweatshirt or jacket. When I want a frozen drink in the South Bay, I know where to go!

It's literally walking distance from our hotel in Torrance -- so close we actually walked past it the first time without even realizing it was there. Super hidden, easy to miss. The space itself is small, and when you first walk in it doesn't hit you with an over-the-top tiki vibe right away. But once the drinks start coming out, it fully delivers. The glassware is so fun and themed -- I was obsessed with the flamingo cup and actually ended up buying a couple online since I couldn't take the real one home with me. Drink-wise, I stuck mostly to my usual zombie, which has this great earthy, cinnamon-y flavor that's just different from anything else -- does the trick every time (there's a two-drink max/minimum on it, which I respect). We also tried a Makahiki Mua and a Painkiller, both really solid. The Makahiki Mua had a fun flavor, kind of similar to a Painkiller, but the zombie is still my go-to. Service was pretty good overall -- the bartender stayed mostly in one corner of the bar, which actually worked in our favor since we got served fast. A couple of small quirks though: they only have a limited number of menus, so we kept having to pass one back and forth around the bar, which felt a little silly. They also seemed to be running low on drink cups at times, having to wash and rotate them back into use, which was an odd thing to notice at a bar this size. Also wish they had some food or snacks available, even something small -- but that's a minor gripe. Vibe-wise, this is easily one of my favorite tiki lounges I've been to -- doesn't quite topple Broken Compass Tiki for me, but it's up there. Fun, easy, great drinks, solid service despite the small hiccups, and a perfect spot if you're staying in the Torrance area. Would absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone chasing that tiki lounge crawl.

I ordered the madre enchiladas which allows you to sample multiple different moles and sauces. My favorite was the mole negro out of the 4 - the complexity of flavors was out of this world! My fiancé ordered the Barbacoa de res and really enjoyed his dish as well. It comes as a plate with rice and beans and some toppings for the tortillas (you can pick flour, corn, or handmade corn). Overall, the meal was delicious and we would definitely come back!

Well, I finally did about two weeks ago, and OMG -- what a pleasant surprise. You actually enter through Nordstrom and take the stairs or elevator up to the second floor. The restaurant is beautiful, elegant and intimate without feeling overly fancy. But the FOOD! Absolutely delicious. Everything we had was so good. And another pleasant surprise was the price. I eat out all the time and have tried a lot of restaurants around LA, so I have a pretty good idea of what places in this category usually charge. For the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, Bazille is surprisingly affordable. It's not "cheap" food by any means -- it just feels like a really good value compared to similar restaurants. The service was just as impressive. Every single person we interacted with was professional, friendly and welcoming, from the hosts to our server. And clearly the kitchen knows what they're doing because everything that came out was amazing. I can't believe I've walked past this place so many times without trying it. Now that Bazille is officially on my radar, the other restaurants I usually visit when I come to Del Amo definitely have some competition. I'll absolutely be back!

I got the French dip sandwich and the French onion soup (see the theme). The sandwich was very good. The au jus was flavored with something a bit spicy, I get it's Cali but i prefer traditional au jus. The French onion soup is in a generous sized bowl (I split it with my wife). Don't get me wrong, it's good but it's not great. There was something missing that I couldn't out my finger on. Overall tho, it felt like quality food at reasonable prices. B: service: as you'd expect from nordstroms, service was exceptional. Friendly, attentive but not over attentive. I drink a lot of ice tea and my glass was never less than a 1/4 tank. C: ambiance. Ok, full confession, my wife brought me to the mall and nordstroms. For me, It's a bit weird to eat in the ladies active wear section but, looking at the demographics, I TOTALLY see why it's in that section. Picture lots of older ladies (predominantly 50+ white and Korean ladies) meeting up for a glass of Chardonnay and sharing ....HUGE PLATES OF FRENCH FRIES. I didn't know that's a thing. I find it fascinating. If you're in the mall, give it a go. It's quite the experience and position yourself to people watch.

My sister was in town for a few days before flying off to Singapore, so we met up with mutual friends for dinner. I'd never heard of HT Grill, but then I rarely make it to this part of town. SERVICE: Our reservation (just in case) was for 6 pm and were greeted with a friendly smile when we walked in the door. Once seated our server Johnny was friendly and VERY polite, his responses always ended with a "Sir" or "Ma'am"! He gave us just the right amount of attention as well, not too much and not too little, checking on us regularly to refill water or pour more wine, etc. Also, after seeing we weren't enjoying the crab cakes, he whisked them away and removed them from the bill, more on that in a minute. I had such a wonderful experience at HT Grill and couldn't wait to share it. It all started with making the reservation. I initially tried booking online, but for some reason it wasn't working. I decided to call and spoke with Jackson, who was incredibly polite and helpful. I explained the issue, and he took care of everything right away. I also mentioned that this was our first time visiting and that the restaurant had been highly recommended, as we were celebrating our boss's birthday. Jackson was so accommodating and kind--it immediately put me at ease and made me feel confident we had chosen the right place. When we arrived, the great experience continued. Our server, Anne, was just as lovely--sweet, attentive, and very polite. She made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening, and her service truly stood out. The food was delicious! We ordered steak and lobster--while the portions varied a bit, everything tasted great and was satisfying overall. One of the highlights was finding out that the birthday guest receives her meal free--what a nice surprise! The only small downside was that dessert wasn't included for the birthday celebration. That would have been a perfect finishing touch, and I hope it's something they consider adding in the future. Overall, it was a beautiful evening spent with people we love, celebrating a very special woman. Even though I didn't catch the manager's name (it was unique and slipped my mind--my apologies!), I want to recognize both Anne and Jackson for making our night so memorable. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews for local businesses, especially since we've visited here several times before and had decent experiences. However, our experience today was very disappointing. The restaurant advertises a "free steak and lobster entrée to any guest on the day of their birthday," with ID required. Before visiting, we called to confirm what forms of ID were acceptable, and asked if a birth certificate would work for our child's birthday. We were told that the offer would not be honored for children. We felt like we were being accused of "taking advantage" of the offer, but since there's no age limit mentioned in the ad, we were surprised that it didn't apply to children. We also wouldn't be celebrating much differently than older guests - with multiple adults in our party also ordering entrees. The manager commented that most kids (including his own) don't eat steak or lobster and that some kids may have shellfish allergies. In our case, neither was relevant-- our child enjoys both steak and lobster; she has been eating both since she's had a few teeth to chew small pieces. She ate steak and shellfish for her birthday last year, too, so it's not farfetched that we would take her out for steak and lobster this year. It would be helpful if the restaurant clarified age restrictions for this offer on their website and signage to avoid this issue in the future. read more

I haven't written a Yelp review in a long time, but our recent experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share. We had made a reservation for a Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival, we were dismayed to find a loud beer garden with a live band in the parking lot, making it impossible to enjoy a conversation during dinner. Both the restaurant inside and the tables on the patio were affected by noise from the beer garden. Our server was overwhelmed with too many tables to handle. As a result, several of our ordered items were either forgotten or served cold and overcooked. Additionally, the restroom situation was chaotic due to the overflow from the beer garden, with drunk people monopolizing the limited facilities. It's incredibly disappointing that there was no prior warning about the noisy beer garden when we made our reservation, as it completely overshadowed what was meant to be a celebratory birthday dinner. Portable toilets should have been provided for the beer garden crowd. Our birthday celebration was ruined by these issues, and I strongly advise others to avoid dining here. The excessive noise and subpar service quality make it impossible to enjoy a pleasant meal. Steer clear of this establishment. read more

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, H.T. Grill in Redondo Beach is the place to go! My wife and I had the best time here, and everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts were an absolute hit--they disappeared within minutes! They were like vegetable candy, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The Autumn Bisque was heavenly, rich, and comforting, and every dish we ordered was prepared with such care and attention to detail. The HT Grilled Salmon was cooked to perfection, and even the mashed potatoes were so good we savored every last bite. The drinks were amazing too! Both the Sicilian Lemon & Strawberry and the Tall, Dark & Ginger were refreshing and well-balanced. Our server, Alex, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Dined at HT Grill last night for a post-grad celebration and we couldn't have been happier! Our party of 9 was sat super quickly and our server Jacob was super attentive all the way through. We had the Barramundi, Espresso Short Ribs (melted in your mouth), Adult Mac N Cheese, Calamari, Burgers (5 of them), Wedge Salad, Prosciutto & Burrata Board, & Poke Nachos - every item was consumed in no time, prepared to perfection, and tasted great! Finished off with the Fried Cheesecake and the Honey Pistachio Creme Brûlée - also delicious! The staff were very friendly and attentive, despite what looked to be a very busy night for them! We were greeted kindly by manager Leila and two other hosts when we arrived and ushered directly to our table where Jacob our server was waiting for us. It was very crispy and came with 3 sauces...one was really spicy (siracha perhaps). I preferred the garlic aioli out of the three. My gf ordered the chopper salad ($14) and she loved it. The portion was huge and it had chicken, panchetta, avocado, cucumber, olives, tomatoes, artichokes, etc with a creamy dressing. It's definitely big enough to split. HT Grill is an absolute gem! My wife and I had an amazing dining experience here and can't wait to go back. We started with the crispy brussel sprouts, and they were hands-down some of the best we've ever had--perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The baby clam chowder was rich, flavorful, and comforting, an excellent starter. For our entrées, I had the chicken Parmesan, which was beautifully cooked with a crispy crust and a delicious sauce, while my wife ordered the seared ahi sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every dish was a hit! Our waiter, Natanael, was fantastic--super pleasant, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was top-notch. Not sure why I keep giving this place "another" try. I keep saying to myself, "it can't always be this bad!" And sure enough, it always is. Service is always bad. Seems the bartenders and severs conversations are more important than taking care of the patrons. Guess they forgot who puts money in their pockets. Or maybe they are banking on a 20 percent tip regardless because they are in the village, and 20% on hennesey's inflated prices is pretty good I guess. The food is at best mediocre. I do have to say, on a positive note, the fire pit is nice, and they do make a great Bloody Mary. That being said, it is too bad for the village that this space is wasted. read more

We recently hosted a baby shower in the private room/patio at this restaurant and had such a great experience! The space was perfect for our event, and the staff went above and beyond..super friendly, attentive, and accommodating the entire time. The sliders and crab cakes were a hit...absolutely delicious! The first round of margaritas was a bit off, but the second round definitely made up for it. I also love the area this restaurant is located in, such a nice vibe all around. Would definitely recommend for both events and casual dining! read more

What a difference! The service was as quick and cordial as before, but the big changers was the quality of the food. We had the short ribs and the disillusion (again) the meat was cooked perfectly and the pasta was seasoned so well noone had to go for the salt shaker. Definitely good enough to take the leftovers home. Yes the price is higher than comparable restaurants inland, but pretty standard for quality places in the area. Based on this experience I would certainly recommend HT Grill. Plus the street-side patio is lovely. read more

Nice outside seating with fire pit. Food ok, pizza good and Mac n cheese ok. Nice ambiance. Parking spots usually around (free meter after 6pm) or they have valet in parking lot. Occasionally live music but a bit too loud inside when it's busy and with live music. Better to go when it's dead and get good service and seating anywhere. Will go again for sure. Probably just to have a drink and meet friends. It's a good starting point or ending point, for sure not the 'main event' kind of place for me and my friends all agree. Thanks. read more

Absolutely loved my experience at HT Grill. The bartender was friendly, professional, and genuinely made the night better. The drinks were perfectly mixed and served with great timing. The food was phenomenal and came out hot and fresh. The entire staff was attentive without being overbearing and made us feel right at home. The environment is relaxed yet upscale, perfect for a casual dinner or a special night out. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends. Five stars without question. read more

I love the food at HT Grill and the ambiance is great but never go there hungry or in a hurry. The service is quite slow. Other than that, which is a fact that I always seem to forget until I get there and am wondering where the waitress is or where my food is! I do recommend this restaurant though because the food is quite delicious and the location is great. The heated patio is wonderful. We were in town visiting family. A friend of ours recommended this place to us. First off we loved the ambiance of the place and the outside fire, It was too cold to sit out there but it was nice to see. The food we ordered was pronominal, Lobster mac n cheese and their pastas are fabulous, My husband had the steak cooked to perfection, For dessert we had the creme brulee. HT grill was one of my favorite restaurants, I don't know what exactly happened to this restaurant recently but it's not like before! The menu has changed, service is slow, staffs not friendly anymore! We we there for dinner tonight with my family, we ordered our drinks and food at the same time but our drinks didn't come for nearly 20 minutes, and never been refilled. Our waitress was rude and didn't even checked our table see if we need something or not. read more

This place is a straight up rip off. The food (i got a disgustingly salty pizza) was overpriced and unimaginative. The only good thing is the outdoor patio, with a fireplace. The second time, yes i don't know why i went back, was even worse than the first. I ordered a drink with friends and it took literally one hour. i will not go back, but two stars for the good location and nice patio. read more

Treat yourself to good food and drink there. Drinks here are readily available, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or try something new. This restaurant is kid-friendly, so little ones are welcome to tag along. Be sure to check out outdoor seating when the climate is right. Here is a great location to host a group dinner or lunch. Ive eaten there a couple times and really enjoy their food. I like the over-all atmosphere as well and really liked the live jazz music they had there one time. the patio is a real treat with a huge fire pit and seating around it which is kinda cozy. The prices are a little higher than other restaurants in the area but that's ok it was pretty good. read more

Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.
