Tasty and a decent portion size. $16 avocado toast was a single slice and left a lot to be desired. Subbed out the potato's for truffle parm fries. Been meaning to come since summer They am have a very nice and good outside for covid dining. Good mixed menu and quality craft beers. Apps were very good, we had Brussels sprouts and the pretzel bites. Hopefully they continue with it in cooler weather. They have heat lamps and such. I made a reservation for two at Hudson Social and I'm so glad I did. I wanted to dine outdoors at a waterfront and this was the perfect spot. While visiting on a Friday afternoon, the layout was spaced out for all visitors outside. They've smartly opted for utilizing your smartphone to view their menu, which is expansive and has a nice selection of gluten-free items. The staff were super attentive and helpful during our dining experience. We both loved our food which was cooked perfectly. The view was lovely while we ate, but the sun was no joke, make sure to be prepared for sitting in the sunshine with no shade. One reason I really wanted to visit is because they offer a gluten-free raspberry cobbler that was absolutely delicious. We definitely plan to return to this great location, especially with being able to walk right by the water. read more

Recently worked with Matt, the owner, to coordinate a Bridal Shower in the upstairs loft - he was great to work with and we had a great experience! We went to test the food prior to the shower and enjoyed the Crispy Brussel Sprouts appetizer, Angry Cauliflower, veggie frittata and a buffalo chicken sandwich that they had on special. We stumbled upon Hudson Social while we were in the area, and what a lucky find!! We were able to make a reservation for a group of six, and our entire party was blown away by the quality of the food. The highlight of the meal was the brussel sprouts, (the bacon and almonds were WOW) but we also loved the pretzel and buffalo cauliflower. Little did we know, that was just the start. The cocktails were also perfectly crafted, and the crowd favorite was the maple syrup old fashioned. It's clear that these cocktails were developed and made with intention and care. YUM! The burgers were perfectly cooked, the po boy was delicious, and the pulled pork was out of this world. Based on what we tried, you cannot go wrong with this menu! The staff was warm and friendly, and the manager Adam came to check on our table a few times. The space is also beautiful - right on the water and with an ample parking lot. I used to frequent Dobbs Ferry Park quiet often before the pandemic. I took a drive from the city this past summer and discovered the snack stand was gone and now Hudson Social was in it's place. A friend and I decided to have lunch. The building is beautifully renovated and much larger than I anticipated. If you choose not to drive. The Metro-North station is right behind it. Our food was good, hot and timely. Our server was so kind and professional. I ordered the PO' Boy sandwich and my friend the grilled chicken sandwich. They were good but, needed something, like some mayo or more seasoning on the meat portion. The sweet potato fries were amazing and hot. We ordered a slice of cheesecake. Undoubtly, it is the best cheesecake I have EVER had! It was amazing BUT, it was $10 a slice, ouch. Didn't realize it until the bill came. Everything was fresh. It is not super expensive but, can a little pricey for some things. I figure you're also paying for the view of the river. Good experience though. I will definitely go back. read more

1st time visiting Came for Memorial Day We had a reservation for 2 adults and 3 kids one of them who needed a high chair The hostess seemed a bit flustered and changed our table 3x she seemed nice but it's frustrating when there's kids involved There's indoor and outdoor seating available Place is very kid friendly which is a plus There's ample parking and great views of the Hudson River The live band is a plus but it's too loud. We could not even have a conversation while having lunch. Service is okay, could be better When ordering from the lunch menu there are no substitutions. The food to me was okay not memorable. My favorite part of my meal were the truffle fries. Portions are large When ordering the Cuban sandwich I asked if it could be nicely pressed or toasted.. not done.. the best part of a Cuban is when it's pressed and the cheese is melted and the bread is crunchy. Dessert options were ok.. we tried the key lime pie it was tangy.. and well presented but not memorable. Drinks were okay and again when ordering there are no substitutions or adapting to your liking which is not a positive in my book. When the bill came they charged us for a party of 6 gratuity for kids....really? We had to send the check back to be corrected. I'm not sure if I would give this place another shot. read more

The parking lot being where the outdoor seating is was a bit of a turnoff, but overall it's a good atmosphere. Pros: this restaurant has amazing customer service. Everyone is so bright and cheerful. They always come to your table and check on you. You have two options, wait to go inside or eat outside by the picnic table. My group decided to eat out by the picnic tables. The menu paperless- you access it on your phone. The food was delicious. The portions sizes were great for the price. Parking is right across the street and is free on Sundays. If you're taking a train, it is literally a train stop on the Metro North. The view across the restaurant is beautiful if you want to go and walk afterwards for a date. Cons: I was unable to take the rest of my food home because of ants. My plate was covered in ants.
