Hudson social is conveniently located at the exit of the Dobbs Ferry train station and a parking lot walk over to the Dobbs ferry water view . It has indoor outdoor seating clean restrooms; and a nice staff. The food is ok ; my fish was dry the steak my other half had needed salt . I had to asked for ranch twice but they did sub my fries for salad . For two of us without tip it was 100 for two meals and 1 drink not cheap if you aren't wowed. Will I go back for an appetizer and drink sure ; maybe not a meal.

Sat outside. Very family friendly. The trains pass by ever not sure, 20 minuets . 3 people had the Cuban sandwich. ( 2 of us from So. Florida) G said it was delious. I had the fish and chips fried in corn meal. Not my favorite. But it was nice to sit outside w/ plenty of big umbrellas.

We are not impressed with this place. It's waterfront but the window is kind of small to really enjoy the view. Foods are underwhelming. It takes a long time to serve and their soup came lukewarm.

Hudson Social is tucked away in Yonkers & is a great spot for watching the sunset/having a couple drinks/dinner which is exactly what I did. I had a couple of rum-based cocktails which honestly were average at best- not much alcohol & a bit too sweet. As for the food, the chicken quesadilla was a huge portion & tasty. The nachos were pretty good too albeit I wish they used a different type of cheese as this one lacked that "gooey" element I feel like nacho cheese should have. The shrimp tacos were good as well. All in all, this is a cute spot but I see myself solely going here when the sun is winding down during long summer days ie when you can sit outside since it honestly looked a lot better outside than inside.

Hudson Social is hands down one of my favorite spots in Dobbs Ferry! The riverside location is unbeatable--perfect for a relaxing meal with a view, whether you're catching up with friends or just soaking in the vibes. I had the slow-roasted brisket sandwich and the Kansas City-style pulled pork sandwich--both were absolutely delicious. Tender, flavorful, and served with golden fries that hit the spot. To top it off, the Rum Runner and Blueberry Breeze cocktails were ice-cold, refreshing, and perfectly mixed. Pure summertime bliss! What really made the experience stand out was the attentive and genuinely friendly staff. From the moment we sat down, we felt taken care of. Our server checked in just enough without hovering and made great recommendations with a smile. It's clear the team here takes pride in what they do. Also love how community-focused they are--with events like their upcoming Pride Brunch, Hudson Social isn't just a place to eat--it's a celebration of good food, good people, and good energy. Can't recommend it enough. Hudson Social has officially earned a permanent spot on my favorites list! --Your Pal Sals

So this place was cute... We wanted to take a little road trip from New Jersey and go have lunch on the water somewhere. This is facing the Hudson river and is somewhat deceptive when you actually look at the restaurant website. This is right next to a train station, and there is a drop off street between where you sit and then there's a parking lot and then the Hudson river. Still scenic but just not the same as being Waterfront. Service was amazing, they have a full bar and outdoor seating. The food was very good and priced reasonably. I would have given this review more stars, but I do feel like the pictures on the website are inaccurate and we weren't as close to the water as I wanted to be. We had driven several miles to go here and so that was the disappointing aspect of it. I would go again if I was in the neighborhood just because of the service and the food. It was not handicap accessible to get to the restrooms. However, that's another checkmark on the experience.

    Ice cream cup served tonight.

Bartender is great. Waiter is great. Hamburgers are excellent. Code a side Salad with a hamburger instead of the fries was very good. Fresh and delicious. ice cream is terrible, it has to come off the menu . Ingredients and taste are not good .

We visited our friends in Dobbs Ferry on a July afternoon. They took us to this place for dinner. We sat outside. The service was great. We ordered several items and all of them came reasonable quickly and were quite tasty. We specifically liked the fish dishes. Overall, it was a good experience. We would gladly go back there again.

Came here for happy hour with some coworkers and it was a lovely place. We sat outside near the bar area and it was awesome. They have lots of room to accommodate larger groups and very spacious area so it doesn't feel crowded. The service was fast we ordered a few rounds of drinks and everything came out pretty quickly. We did not order food but the menu looked great.

I've never had a bad experience here. Everything is great. Service is good, staff are friendly, ambiance is nice and the view is is pretty awesome! Plus is pet friendly My last visit here was for mother's day brunch. I didn't make reservations but took a chance anyways. It was all booked. So I asked if I could place an order to go. Staff said to do it on website. I tried but it wasn't working. I went back inside and told them it wasn't working. Manager came up to me and told me they were pretty booked and shut the take out function off because the kitchen was behind in orders. I was about to leave but asked him one more time if I could please put an order in w him and take it to go. He said ...you know what ok. We are pretty behind but depending on what you order I can put a rush on it being that is mother's day! Oh I was sooo happy and grateful. I order chicken fingers wings, burgers and fries. Figure that would be quick order! It was 20mins later I was by the water enjoying a picnic w my kids for mothers day. They did me solid on a very hectic day w no reservations. Thats 5 stars service for me!

There is a lot of parking available which was great. Upon arriving I noticed right away the outdoor seating was in full swing and I loved how close to the water it was but we opted for indoor seating this time around. I will say we had looked at previous reviews beforehand and had made our choices but, upon checking the menu, it had changed so that was a let down. For appetizers we started with the edamame, ricotta crostini and the soup of the day which was chickpea and escarole. It was a bit strange seeing edamame on their menu but it was deliciously seasoned with the furikake and garlic oil. The ricotta crostini was lackluster. I was expecting a bit of sweetness from the grapes but they just seemed watery once you bit into them. The soup was also just ok a bit under-seasoned. For our entrees we got the chicken Milanese, fried chicken Cesar sandwich, the gnocchi pasta with a side of meatballs and the turkey c.b.a. The chicken Milanese had a wonder salad atop the chicken with all the fixings and the feta cheese added for a nice creamy salty bite. The fried chicken Cesar sandwich was just that. A fried chicken cutlet and Cesar salad stuffed into a brioche bun served with thin cut fries. Can never go wrong with a Cesar salad. The pasta was definitely the star of this meal. The soft pillows of the gnocchi pasta paired with the robust tomato sauce was delicious and with the added meatballs added for a hearty meal. The Turkey C.B.A was such a let down. It literally looked like those sandwiches that come in plastic but just plated. For such a nice restaurant that dish definitely gotta go. For dessert we got the Key Lime Pie and the Profiteroles without chocolate. (There was an allergy at the table). The key lime was perfectly tart and the graham crust gave this nutty goodness that was just delicious. The profiteroles were also so yummy with the crunchy puff pastry, creamy ice cream and then the cherries and candied almonds made for a perfect dessert. While I can appreciate a restaurant changing up their menu often, there are some dishes that should stay put!

Abdul, our bartender, remembered my name, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. It's those personal touches that create a memorable dining experience. During our meal, we accidentally ordered the wrong paella. We knew it was our mistake and never intended to ask for a replacement. However, the owner overheard our conversation and immediately stepped in to make it right without hesitation. That level of hospitality and customer care is rare and speaks volumes about how they treat their guests. The attention to detail extends to the bar as well. Their Old Fashioned is made the way it should be--with a large ice block that keeps the drink cold without watering it down. As John Taffer often says, "If an Old Fashioned doesn't have a large ice block, they're not paying attention to detail." Basque clearly does. If you're looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a restaurant that truly cares about its customers, I highly recommend Basque. Give it a try--you won't be disappointed.

The seafood paellas are portion perfect ie; large, the tapas favorites include garlic shrimp, octopus, croquetas, Iberico ham, lamb chops, and seasonal specials. I worked in the restaurant industry for years so I know firsthand how demanding a rush can be but the hospitality and customer service could have been better. If there was any silver lining to all the waiting, it was having time to appreciate the stunning waterfront views, alongside a lively atmosphere with a live musician and DJ after 9:30 PM. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the operational issues. The food was largely average and overpriced. Spending $1,000 for such a mediocre experience was disappointing. There are plenty of comparable restaurants where you can get the same "party" vibe with better food and service.
