We checked this place out for lunch recently and it was just ok. We were looking for a quick meal and found this in the food court. They don't have a ton of options on their menu. Chicken strips or chicken strips on a bun to call it a sandwich. We tried the Magoo's sandwich and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both came with fries, but drinks were separate. About all they have on the small menu are tenders, fried or grilled, and they can be prepared in a sandwich, wrap, salad, or with a dip. The good-sized Magoo's Sandwich ($9) combo is excellent, three tenders inside a brioche bun with fat pickles, sauce, and a side of potatoes. I skipped the mundane-looking frozen crinkle cut fries and tried the fresh-cut chips instead, which were surprisingly good and not greasy or over-salted. Also got a couple of garlic parmesan tenders ($1.29 apiece) but was not impressed because they look nothing like advertised. These are just regular tenders straight out of the fryer with a small container of garlic parmesan to dip them in and not at all like the pictured 'sauced' ones on the menu board that appear to be marinated and drenched. It is entirely possible though that I misinterpreted what their garlic parmesan tender is. At least the chicken used here is high quality...hormone, steroid, and antibiotic-free. But allergy-conscious and gluten free diners need to avoid this restaurant as just about everything they sell has wheat, soy, dairy, and egg in it, even the grilled chicken. Otherwise if you're downtown and looking for a low priced chicken meal, Huey Magoo's is a good choice.
