Another great service by Hulk Movers! I had about 20 medium-sized boxes and needed to bring them down 3 flights of stairs from my temporary housing and then shipped to an offsite storage site. The movers, Doneek and Nuh, reached out to me early to give me the option if I wanted to start the move earlier than scheduled and I quickly said YES! They arrived promptly and kept me appraised of their whereabouts via text and I met them downstairs. They quickly came upstairs to see what was being moved, and then immediately got to work. Within 30 minutes they were done and most importantly, they took tremendous care of the boxes, which included valuable/personal items. During the move process, I had the opportunity to converse with the movers DONEEK and NUH. They were very nice and personable and we even agreed to a ping pong match when I utilize them on a future move to permanent housing. I used them for a move from California to Florida. Worst company I ever dealt with. They left half of my couch in California and knew it but never told me till they got to Florida and I asked where it was. They broke and lost thousands of dollars of my things and now 6 months later they have not made good on it. He lied about submitting the claim to his insurance company and won't pay for damages. I've used these guys twice now! They do an astounding job. Young guys with big energy and great attitudes. They are super respectful and knowledgeable about what they do. They handled all of my bulky/heavy furniture with ease ( even down several narrow flights of stairs ). I was super impressed with their grace and speed. My guys were Speaking Russian - I thought that was neat. I also spoke with the owner ( from Uzbekistan ) really nice guy! I love all walks of life, where you're from matters not to me. What matters is respect and kindness and hard work. These guys GOT IT. I hired 3 guys to move a 1 bedroom studio size apartment. They helped do a lot of the packing and wrapped my leather furniture and tv for me. They also provided some boxes and blankets because I ran out. They even removed hardwares from offered to put all my furniture back together. These freaking guys are THE BEST. I tipped them each $60 and I would have tipped them $600 if I could! It was a tight squeeze and we had to sell a lot of stuff (patio furniture, office furniture, lawn mower, and other misc things. But, the 26' box truck fit a lot more than I thought it was going to. I moved from San Diego, CA to Denver, CO. The person I worked with was Sanjar, who was great. Initially I spoke with Sanjar over the phone and he later set up an appointment to see my apartment for an estimate and quote. What I appreciated was that they provided a precise 1 hour time window a month in advance. Sure enough on the day of my move, my movers arrived at the provided ETA and got in and out in about an hour and a half (to give context: this was on a Thursday morning in Pacific Beach). I have less stuff, but they told me it typically takes 4-5 hours for a 1 bedroom apartment. Like others mentioned, they took their time wrapping some of my larger items that were fragile. I was most concerned with my 7'6 longboard which was not in a surf travel bag. They wrapped that item in a blanket and plastic. I still had my concerns since I had Ikea furniture that could bang up against it but left it up to them to figure out how to organize things. My belongings would arrive in 2-3 weeks they said. A little over a week later, Sanjar followed up with me over the phone and via text to let me know the status of things. My move, I believe, was bundled with another San Diegan on their way to Salt Lake City. Sanjar, let me know that SLC was first then Denver likely a day later which coincided with it being exactly 2 weeks from when my movers picked up my things. My movers weren't the same as the ones I had in SD but they were just as good and they brought nearly all my things to the basement level. I've been able to take inventory of my things and to my surprise, my longboard is completely unscathed along with my 65 inch 4K TV. They must have taken into careful consideration the placement of the items along with the furniture headed to SLC. There were some items like my books with corners bent but that was my fault for not packaging it correctly. I was also happy to find that nothing was missing. I didn't label everything and I still received every item that I packed, including things that could have been mistaken for the SLC drop off. Genuinely, super happy to find this company after some of the horror stories I've heard elsewhere. read more

Used Hulk Movers to move from a two bedroom apartment (up three flights of stairs with no ramps or elevators) to a townhouse (one narrow flight of stairs). Overall, this was a wonderful and easy company to work with! I would absolutely recommend this company if you plan on moving and are nervous about finding the right people. Book them immediately! After almost getting scammed by a broker we needed a last minute move from San Diego to Portland and they came through! Within an hour of contacting them, Sanjar came over to do an at home inspection and had a quote that beat most of the others that couldn't be done until a month later. We scheduled the move for that Sunday (4 days later) and three movers showed up and had our 2 bedroom apartment packed and loaded in 5 hours. While they drove to Portland they gave daily text updates and ETAs the whole way. That Wednesday morning the truck was outside our new home, and all our belonging were moved into the house in 5 hours! I have moved 17 times (8 times east-west coast), so I consider myself a professional mover :-) I know exactly all the tricks, gimmicks, upsells, and the usual disappointment of moves of mass destruction. So, I decided to call Hulk movers bc of the reviews and I like Dr. David Bruce Banner! step 1_ contact movers and wait for days for a response from some customer service person. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN! SANJAR (OWNER) CALLED ME STRAIGHT AWAY TO SCHEDULE A COVID SAFE IN-HOME MOVE QUOTE. HE COVID COMPLIANT, FRIENDLY AND NOT A SNAKE OIL SALESMAN. step 2. wait for it.... the fake me out a quote, full of hidden fees and upsells. I call it the "gotcha sucka quote" HULK MOVERS DID THE OPPOSITE. THE QUOTE WAS STRAIGHTFORWARD, NO HIDDEN FEES, NO GAS/MILEAGE GIMMICKS, CRAZY PRICES OR MAJOR DEPOSIT. I have lots of neutral & white furnishings and every moving company leaves black handprints and smudges on everything. I wanted to avoid a crew that seemed shady, sketchy, and make me feel like I'm not safe. WELL AGAIN, NOT THE CASE. I JUMPED ON THE TEXT TO SANJAR AND TOLD HIM THAT HE SENT ME 4 AMAZING ANGELS. CLEAN FROM THE NAILS TO THE SHOES. FRESH SMELLING, SMILES, WAY ABOVE CLEAN CUT. THEY WERE 100 % COVID COMPLIANT AND DIDNT PLAY THE "MASK SLIP OFF WHEN THE CUSTOMER ISNT AROUND GAME." WHICH IS MISSION CRITICAL FOR ME! step 7-10, The move was fast, flawless, and fabulous. NO messes at the old house and no mess at the new house. No accidents, scratches, issues, missing boxes, shady charges, total clean-up, poor communication. Everything was perfectly executed. Furniture properly reassembled, no damage, no breaks, no black marks on anything, and the price was exactly what Sanjar quoted. Trust me, I had a moving company hold my furniture hostage bc I didn't agree on the time for their 3-hour lunch break. They placed the furniture exactly where I liked, handled everything with care, and cleaned up. They smiled throughout the entire process and made sure I was happy. What was to be a very stressful day turned out to be a wonderful day. If you want a moving company that will cause you grief- DO NOT CALL HULK MOVERS. THEY ONLY DELIVER 100 PERCENT PERFECTION FROM START TO FINISH. I wish they had a car wash company, hair salon, handyman service because they take pride in EVERYTHING they do.
