*Note: I'm kind of a big nerd, so I was little biased in picking "Hulk" Movers. Last time I moved I was a youthful lad of 29 years young, and my wife at 27...now we're in our early 40s and too old to lift much any more! After using the Yelp multi search feature, Hulk seemed to have the best rates and best reviews. Arrangements was all done through Yelp messenging and paying a $100 deposit. Hulk movers Doneek and Nuh showed up promptly at 8:30am. I was a little worried at first as they're weren't the biggest looking guys. But my fears quickly faded after 10 minutes of watching them quickly lift, push, pull, grab, and move our many boxes into the truck. They then moved the furniture, which they expertly and gently wrapped in protective plastic and blankets. They even fixed the loose leg on my couch! They also professionally took apart my massive king sized bed frame and reassembled it. We also had a very complicated IKEA desk which they also managed to partially disassemble and reconstruct. Besides a 30 minute lunch break, they didn't once stop working. No smoke breaks. No texting breaks. Doneek and Nuh are hard workers! Total bill was $800 for about 7 hours of work. That includes the truck rental too! Worth it! I also gave $40 each to both Doneek and Nuh...those guys are tough! HULK!!! read more

Honestly, Moving is stressful. If you have movers that are agreeable when you ask them to do things, there is nothing to complain. However, a five star service is always going to be creme de la creme for me. This doesn't mean serving me hand and foot. In this case our movers (2), handled the move fairly well. Almost undercharged us but you know that Manager in the office does his math. No furniture damaged on the move. Both were communicative. When they asked about a special request, they hesitated but I told them I already explained this to the office and showed him the text and he moved on. I would say it was 4.5 stars but we don't have half stars on the Yelp review page (maybe it's time to do so Yelp, its 2022, change it up). Generously tipped each mover and as mentioned, with only the mistake in the charge which was corrected and I had no argument with using this movers. Always make sure you have requests in texts or email and they will honor it. Otherwise, you are not dealing directly with the person that arranged the movers. The team at Hulk was great. Three guys showed up on time with their truck and efficiently moved all of our boxes out, as well as wrapping the furniture up in blankets MUCH better than we would've. This review is about 6 months too late, but I still had to give these guys a shout out. First off, their pricing is very competitive. I also had a double move so I was looking for a place that would give me some sort of discount for returning customers (I think it was 5%). In terms of the actual move, I had to move out of an apt and move into a new one 2 weeks apart so I had to store my stuff in a garage for 2 weeks. It was a lot of stuff but it was very much worth it. I got 2 movers for my 2 bedroom apartment, I am honestly thinking maybe getting 3 might've been more cost efficient and took less time. They were very professional and took care of my items. Huge shout out to Deepak and Nurik because they really struggled when the freight elevator broke down. I also did complain because there was some communication mishaps in the beginning where I asked for the movers to come by a certain time because of the elevator reservation but they were late and unaware. They gave me a discount in place of this so I was still happy with their service. Even now, I realized I could deduct the cost of hiring a moving company for my taxes and lost the receipt. Couldn't have had a better out of state move! They showed up on time, price never changed, they wrapped everything with great care. When our stuff was delivered, they were again on time, made sure to unwrap and reassemble everything with care. Nothing was damaged or lost. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS! First, they will low ball the estimate and will work very slow to make your bill higher. My final bill was 50% higher than the estimate! Second, they will not tell you the truth about how your items will be shipped, because they did not use moving blankets to protect my furniture, only plastic that was very thin and my dresser and a night stand got scratched. Third, they will ask for minimum of 20% tip to be paid . Driver also mentioned to leave them 5 star review for 5% discount .
