I hired 4 movers to transport two items- so I could get it done quickly! One item was very expensive and needed to be disassembled, the second item was a arcade machine, that needed padding and wrapped for transport... I had to physically show them how to pad a piece of furniture, I'm a designer and lead the project, I'm easy to work with but these guys were like tweedle Dee and tweedle dumb trying to figure out how to disassemble things and reassemble but still wondered why there were still extra bolts, they couldn't figure it out literally six hours later! Second of all, as I was giving them instructions where to park and how to enter the building, the entire team stood there trying to understand why they needed to follow my instructions... after instructing them to leave the truck locked while I walked them through the job site, one of the guys literally looked at me and said "why don't you go wait in the car while we do our job " I had organized the move, hired the guys and made sure everything went down correctly. Never in my life has anyone been so rude! This company hates women and disregards rules, production of moving into a high security apartment and and they could care less if they damage your stuff, they take their sweet time and charge you $1300 for two items that should have been moved in less than three hours, but it took them six! read more

This recommendation is a long over due. You can tell how much stuff we had to sort out even after the move. With that said, the movers really did an incredible job moving our stuff in such an efficient and careful way. The move happened in October. I've spent days checking the moving companies out before choosing Hulk Movers and I'd like to say that I have never regretted the decision. Kobe, Aurther, and Anton arrived at the exact appointment time and got down to work immediately. I've seen a lot of bad reviews elsewhere complaining about the movers being lazy and just willing to extend the duration as long as possible. Well, that wasn't the case with these 3 fantastic guys. They managed to complete moving all our stuff (we actually had quite a lot of stuff to move) in a little bit over 3 hours and they went over 3 hours only because of the weird structure of my bed that cost them some extra minutes to reassemble it. Anyway, I would definitely call these guys again for my next move. Special shout out to Kobe, Aurther and Anton. They are polite, communicative, and damn professional. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Hulk Movers. We had 3 movers - Aleks, Antony and Artur (many apologies if I butchered those names - aka AAA) - they were in and out of our two bedroom apartment within 3.5 hours - the apartment itself was emptied within 2 hours - the longest part was waiting for our broken elevator and the long trek from the elevator to the truck - they absolutely crushed it. I was concerned it would take longer to unload because our new place has no elevator, so I was shocked when they asked us to check everything at our new place to make sure it was in the right spot - were there any last minute things we needed them to move before they headed out? The truck was completely unloaded!! They finished 2 hours faster than the movers we used 3 years ago (when we had half the stuff that we do now, and elevators at both apartments), were very professional, and nothing was damaged - highly recommend Hulk Movers and AAA. It is hard to settle on a rating for them. The job was done but at a high price. They were professional when booking the appointment and the movers came out at the specified time. They were polite and curteous. We booked 2 movers and they spent 1.5 hours moving furniture that was in the garage into the house. They told me there was a 3-hour minimum charge, so the total was more than $400 as it was. Then the movers told me they work for tips and they only get $18 per hour. I said but you are getting paid for 3 hours of work when only working 1.5 hours, and they said the company keeps that money. They charge about $130-140 per hour, depending on if you pay cash or credit, yet the movers only get $18 an hour? I felt bad for the movers and tipped them, so now I spent about $500 for 2 movers for 1.5 hours. Just be aware if you hire them for a small job, it sure is pricey. read more

They showed up on time and worked fairly efficiently, but I'm giving three stars for various reasons: 1. The movers were unfriendly and uncommunicative (I understand there might be some cultural differences as two of the movers were Russian). 2. They showed up to my home without all movers wearing masks over noses and mouths. 3. One of the movers seemed like a day laborer picked up at a Home Depot lot. He appeared untrained, unprofessional and generally out of it. 4. It seemed little care was given to protecting my floors and walls and it showed after they left. Other movers make sure to put moving blankets or other protection on entryways, front doors and under dollies as they are tilting them to remove boxes.
