Almost every spring the raccoons move in. Then I call the landlord. Then days later - after be woken up night after night by the raccoons screaming and running around - the landlords pest control company comes out, assesses the problem, decides to "relocate" the animals using "humane" traps, which takes another week or two. And then the poor raccoons have to sit in the sun all day while they await the trappers to come and take them somewhere else. It's terrible! And for me it's weeks of interrupted sleep and guilt. Wow tried to book with these people and Rebecca was the rudest nastiest person I have ever tried to work with. I booked an appointment and they said they could come in earlier. I talked with Rebecca and she told me that I could pay them on day of service when they came out for an inspection. She said I didn't even need to be there they were going to do the outside of the house.They also have a pay by phone option, but I wasn't comfortable with that. So I left my check out under the doormat and she called me and canceled the appointment. She told me in Very hostile manner , that She was not going to come out because I did not pay in advance, although she told me I could pay at time of service. She canceled her appointment and when I asked for another one she told me they don't have any more appointments till the end of the year. She was nasty, and very unprofessional. She could not admit that she told me that I could pay at time of service. It's sad because I really needed the service and I was looking forward to seeing how they did it. Stay away from these people! Unless you want to get treated badly. It was just a mistake.I'm sure there are others out there that could do a much better job and be much much nicer. read more

Thank God for Rebecca and Duane, who have saved our house (and my sanity) twice! First from squirrels bent on nesting on our roof and chewing supporting roof beams, and second from woodpeckers using our house as a great place to peck holes to create acorn storage. I was very relieved to have the baby squirrels moved without hurting them. The woodpeckers left immediately after the netting was placed around the roof edges, but they keep testing the netting to see if it's going to go away. I imagine I will need to put Rebecca on speed dial! Small price to pay for living in a beautiful area with abundant wildlife. read more

Two years ago, mice invaded my house. My tenants set traps, and made an effort to get rid of the mic, to no avail. They contacted a local company, who came out and provided a bid, but they insisted that the only way to get rid of the mice was to use poison, and I wanted to avoid poison. I wanted a more human way of ridding the home of mice, and one that wouldn't put neighbor's pets, or wildlife, at risk. I found Humane Wildlife Control on yelp, and contacted them for a quote. Duane and Rebecca are fantastic. The did a fantastic job squirrel-proofing a very complex roof design at my house in Cupertino. A few years later they came back after a squirrel managed to make it down the chimney. (Squirrels are a theme here). In each case the job was done simply, quickly and without drama. I cannot recommend this business. I hired them for a rat problem in my attic. They told me that they thought that the rats were coming through the basement and then traveling up through the walls to the attic. I was billed $2476 to secure the basement. Raccoon Mama and one of her babies fell through the ceiling of the shower in our first floor bathroom. Mayhem!!! Mama got back up into the ceiling, hubby and I got the baby to native animal rescue. We contacted Humane Wildlife Control regarding a rat/mouse problem under our house. In no time Duane and Sean showed up and conducted an inspection of our house. I highly recommend Humane Wildlife Control if you have a mouse or other critter invasion going on in your home. We live in the Del Monte Forest and discovered we had mice in one bedroom, a closet and the kitchen. It happened very fast and I was STRESSED OUT!
