Ryan explained everything in great detail and educated me on things like where rodents could get into the house, what they like to eat, the difference between mice and rats (who knew rats were so intelligent), different kinds of traps, etc. We walked around the house and identified spots that should be sealed up. He offered practical solutions like chicken wire and expanding spray foam (typically used for insulation). He asked me if neighbors were setting out poison because he saw several dead critters in my crawl space. It turns out, a week later I did see a poison trap set up a few houses away from me. His down to earth approach on problem solving resonated with me. There's no black and white answer when you have rodents. Ryan was very patient and made sure I understood all of the options. It's been a month since he came out. Since then, I caught one mouse, sealed up the obvious spots around the house, and haven't seen any new activity. If the rodents do come back, I feel much more prepared to deal with it the next time around. If I can't, I won't hesitate to call Ryan again.

I had a question about mold and asbestos testing that he was unable to answer fully, so he put a note on our appointment. Chuck called me back very quickly to answer my question the same day. We were able to schedule within just a few days, which is key when buying a house with a tight contingency period. An email confirmation and reminder was provided. Top notch speedy and clear communication from this company. Tony was our inspector. He arrived on time, was friendly and clear about the process and time it would take, and asked if we had any specific concerns for him. He spent about three hours inspecting the house, and did a thorough job. He explained his findings to us as he went, and the report provided was clear and well written. The report was provided within 24 hours of the inspection as well. Overall, we are very happy with Proview, and would certainly recommend their home inspection service. Since we took possession on 8/12. Since we have discovered the following that should have been highlighted in the report. 1. A plumbing leak in crawlspace under the lavatory caused by an improperly used saddle Tap valve Under the house. 2. Broken sewer line for same lavatory underneath the house. Both theses items where within 5 feet of the crawl space entrance and clearly visible to the plumber we had come out and investigate a water leak issue we suspected. The cost to fix was approx 3K. 3. Dry rot to a structural 6x6 deck post that needs to be replaced at a cost of $1600. This is disappointing as both of these issues should have been highlighted in the inspection and it makes me concerned that there may be more issues that arise as I feel the inspection was not done as thoroughly as it could. I understand a home inspection will not cover everything but in the above cases these issues should have clearly been caught.

He arrived, realized he didn't have the access code to enter the property, and instead of doing the obvious--texting or calling to request it a couple times --he left a single voicemail, made zero additional effort to reach out, stayed for maybe two minutes, and then left. When I returned his call (45 minutes later after finishing a scheduled meeting), he immediately snapped, saying, "I'm done. I will not be disrespected!"--then hung up on me. Let's be clear here: he was the one who showed up late, made no effort to communicate past his one phone call, and failed to take even the most basic steps to get access. And somehow, he spins it around and accuses me of being disrespectful? The level of arrogance, lack of professionalism, and sheer incompetence is mind-blowing. If this is the kind of person this company sends out to represent them, it speaks volumes about their standards. I strongly recommend avoiding them at all costs. I made a mistake of spraying at it thinking I'll kill it, just to see all the other spiders I didn't see coming down their creepy webs. My fingers were on fire when googling for an exterminating company and thank god I called them. Jose came out and made sure they all went to someone else's house so I could visit my mom on a regular basis. The price is good too. It saved me from buying them another house because of me demolishing their home lol. We no longer have a rodent situation at our home thanks to Humane Wildlife Control. I am very happy with their service. Roof rats were occasionally coming into our garage to check things out. I would find a few droppings every now and then, sweep them up, and more would appear within a week or two. I called Rebecca and she correctly diagnosed the problem as roof rats. The last thing I wanted to do was harm or kill the critters but I also did not want them in my garage, attic, crawlspace, nor especially my house. Duane came out and identified all potential entry points. I was stunned by his attention to detail. Apparently roof rats can squeeze through a hole 1/2 inch in diameter. We had MANY such openings. Duane and Michael closed up all openings using wire mesh, caulking, new crawlspace vents, and such. He also set traps to catch for release any rats that were stuck in the garage, crawlspace, or attic once entry points had been sealed. It's been about 2 months and no rat droppings have been spotted in the garage since sealing up entry points. This is definitely the way to go if you have a rodent problem. Please do not go to the hardware store and purchase inhumane traps. These are just plain cruel and do not address the actual issue, which is keeping the critters out in the first place. Rebecca came out on short notice to problem solve for an animal that was making a lot of noise in the sub-floor and air ducts under my mobile home. She said maybe it was a raccoon, skunk, possum, or big rat. My dog was going crazy and ripping up our carpet! When I looked under my home I couldn't see anything and I gave up trying to figure it out on my own. Earlier this year I tried ringing a bell and flashing a light to try to scare out critters, and then I tried to block a big gap with rocks and tying siding together with zip ties and that seemed to help for a while but I wanted something more permanent. Rebecca figured out how to get the current intruder out and gave me a specific plan on what I needed to do to make it stay out. I really like her philosophy of waiting for the animal to go out on its nightly rounds rather than having to deal with poisons or a dead or captured animal. It's been quiet under my house ever since her visit almost two weeks ago! Now, I just need to follow up by finding someone to repair the points of entry permanently. read more

I recommend Humane Wildlife Control to everyone who has wildlife they need removed from their home and/or property. We had squirrels living under our house, and I was committed to removing them without hurting or killing them. Humane Wildlife Control (Rebecca and Duane) not only worked with our family to effectively evict the squirrels, but also showed us how to secure our home and yard from another "invasion." They checked on the progress consistently by installing cameras at the entry sites, having us send pictures several times a week and emailing and calling just to check on the progress. We had a couple of glitches connecting for our initial appointment but after that everything went smoothly. Both Rebecca and Duane were out to our house and both were very congenial and professional. They found many small entrances to the space under our house, patched everything up, and spent a week catching critters. In addition, we had rats in our car engines and Duane recommended using Citronella oil in a small cap under the hood of our cars at night. So far it seems to be working. Highly recommend them for getting rid of any unwanted critters! We will definitely be calling them again if we have any more issues. read more

Tufts of insulation were strewn about the ground and some was hanging outside of a vent that led to an attic. Based off of a recommendation from a previous neighbor and research into local options, I called James. I was Immediately impressed with his in-depth knowledge and his willingness to explain and share his experience. After telling him about my location as well as a brief description of what I found, he was able to accurately describe my fence line, how it led up to a small landing, where the soffits were located, and what he suspected was happening. He came out, assessed the situation, and based off of the evidence he identified the culprit as most likely being a raccoon. He then provided me with options on how we could proceed. At no time was I pressured into picking an option that I was uncomfortable with. He went over the details for each option and clearly explained what was recommended vs what was less pressing and optional. We went with having him monitor the intrusion for 3 days and then replacing all of our old galvanized steel soffits with more coastal friendly poly-vinyl ones. Throughout the entire process, James was incredibly flexible, highly responsive, and deeply attentive to all of our questions/concerns. He showed me images and quickly walked me through how he would resolve. I received an emailed estimate. Once I signed the follow up was quickly scheduled. He protects the wildlife (birds, frogs, etc.) by not using harsh chemicals in the extermination. As he says "They (wildlife) would have to roll around and swim in the chemicals to get sick."
