I stayed the suit room for two nights with my family. I have never experienced bedbug even in a small motel rooms but in this Hyatt Regency. Myself, my wife and 5-year-old daughter experienced scratchy nights more than a week. I reported this matter to the hotel but the manager responded that according to their investigation with third-party there were no evidence found. I asked the report from the third-party but they refused it. They promised transparency on this matter but not at all. I sent all the naked body photos with bedbug bites but they just respond with no evidence and supporting proofs. They want me to accept what they are saying with no proof. The worst hotel ever. Please avoid this hotel. if not you will ruin your trip. read more

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Irvine over the Fourth of July weekend, and it was honestly an amazing experience from start to finish. I really can't think of anything to complain about. The pool was one of the biggest highlights. The walk-in entry was perfect for my little kids since they're still young, and they had the FIFA matches playing on the giant outdoor screen. That was honestly one of the reasons I booked this hotel--it was a win-win. I got to enjoy watching the games while my kids had a blast in the pool. The food was surprisingly great too. They had a special Fourth of July barbecue menu, and everything we tried was delicious. My wife ordered the chili cheese hot dog, which was excellent, and I had the brisket burger, which was absolutely worth it. They also offered a $10 souvenir cup with unlimited refills during our stay, which was a great value and definitely came in handy by the pool. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. On top of that, every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. One thing I really appreciated was the location. It's tucked away from the heavy traffic and crowds, so it feels peaceful, but you're still just a short drive from just about everything Irvine has to offer. I was really impressed with the room. So new, clean and modern with a great view of Irvine. Appreciate the free water bottles but wish the self parking was more convenient. I decided to check-in to the Hyatt Regency on my way to Mexico and I use my points to book this day. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the front desk perception and was offered a variety of complementary items, such as slippers, shaving kit, extra pillows, extra blankets, rollaway bed. I didn't need any of them, but I took them up on the shaving kit offer. The restrooms were fully stocked with towels and toiletries. felt completely comfortable bathing here. Few pieces of important info: * There is no complementary breakfast. It's made to order but is open from 6 am till 11 am. Room deliver is available. * the parking isn't free. Seems to be a theme with SoCal hotels. It was $40 per night or $47 for valet parking. Great stay! Probably the best I've had in SoCal. I'd support your decision to stay here. read more

This is my second visit to Hyatt Regency Irvine. We came around Christmas holidays and the decor was stunning. The hotel is a hidden gem. They renovated the place and the LED screens around including the pool gives it a modern feel. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite due to my status. It was a very nice 2 bedroom suite with a sofa in one room and a king bed in the other. The room was immaculate. The view is of the offices. The service here is great. The only reason why I gave them a 4 star is the club lounge requires a reservation on open table. I know they have to do it when they're busy but it is highly inconvenient. I do love their club lounge though. The food offerings are great. The staff there are helpful. The lounge while small, is a quiet place to hang out. read more

So thankful for the team at Hyatt Regency Irvine. We had to book last minute after another accommodation fell through, and they turned a stressful situation into a great stay. The hotel is pet friendly (huge plus for us because we had our dog), super clean, modern, and the room was exactly what we needed. The location was safe and convenient for our trip and we loved that there were great outdoor walking areas nearby for our dog. Really impressed by the hospitality and service here. Though the location is close to everything in Irvine and near Corona Del Mar. the lounge is fantastic, though you have to make an appointment to get in which is a little odd, though a testament to their popularity. Absolutely 5 stars. I mean, that's what you're paying for, right? Convenient location, right off the 405. Check in couldn't be easier, on the property they have a great restaurant, a really cool bar, awesome pool with a big screen. This trip we watched the Winter Olympics while lounging in the pool (flex). The service is top notch and everyone working here is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have extra amenities I've never seen before. Next to the beds on the opposite side of the nightstand is a little shelf to place your phone and bottle of water. We recently stayed here for my daughter's 4th bday. They have a nice pool area with two small slides for toddlers to enjoy, the pool is heated especially during this cold random weather. The market inside and the regency club lounge has decent food for decent pricing. The only thing I did not like was the food and bar prices at the pool area, I mean $19 for a canned wine and then $17 for 2 small boxes of stale waffle fries. Just go to McDonald's or something and get ur food if ur starving by the pool. The service I will say was great tho! From the valet ($47 a night compared to $41 self parking) to all the people at the front desk being super efficient and patient and friendly, we would stay again! It isn't super close to Disneyland (with traffic took still about 20-30 min), but there is alot of nice places around the area to eat and shop around. Shoutout to Makala from the front desk who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great!!! read more

We had an overnight stay at the hotel when meeting friends in OC. We chose this hotel due to its location being close to John Wayne airport and 405 freeway. It seems the hotel just went through renovations, lobby and restaurant areas look fully remodeled. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly, and we were able to check in right away. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean. The hotel has a large pool and jacuzzi area. Unfortunately, we were not able to use it due to the cold weather. One extra bonus about the hotel: this is one of the few Hyatt in California that still offer Regency Club dinning. The restaurant was clean, with very good culinary and dessert selections. The restaurant staff was also top notch. The room was quiet, and we had a very restful night of sleep. Highly recommended. read more

Great stay at this new hotel! Property is two years old and the layout was designed well. Self parking was $41 per night with in and out privileges. Bottled water in the room is $7 as well. They had staff outside as you pull up and inside at the check-in desk, all very welcoming and patient. The room was really nice, with a modern ambiance, and very clean. Had a great 4 night stay here. We didn't use the pool because we were visiting our son and didn't have time but it looked nice. Has slides for the kids and a giant TV screen. We paid for a room that included the Regency Club privileges. It's well worth it. They serve breakfast, snacks, lunch etc. There is also a Market Place that has tons of options for quick food and drinks that can be purchased. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. They did a recent renovation and the rooms have no carpet which is my preference the bed was comfortable and the bath had a walk in shower. The employees were super nice. My family reserved 7 rooms over UCI grad weekend. And all parties enjoyed this hotel. The staff here is top notch. From Aimee in reservations to Princess - hotel manager to Lara in the marketplace, answering all my questions to accommodating our party. Hotel self parking is in the rear. The hotel itself is beautiful. Spacious lobby. The marketplace has a wide selection of goods and a plentiful menu. Princess actually recommended the pizza from the market to me in one of many communications and it really did not disappoint our hungry crowd. Our party used every nook and cranny of the hotel and enjoyed it. Watched the World Cup games from both the bar and the pool which was a definite crowd pleaser Had s'more's at the fire pits. Enjoyed family meals in the area of hotel lobby with chairs and tables. Even the hotel gym was put to use. I would recommend this hotel. 10/10 read more

A beautiful hotel! When you arrive, valet is available and are also willing to help with your bags otherwise you can pay for daily parking. The reception area was very neat and open. They had a nice gas fireplace for ambiance. All staff was friendly and appeared well mannered. The hallways were well lit and spacious. They seem to have conference rooms available. The pool was clean and did not reek of bleach. They have a restaurant and marketplace available on the first floor. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Lots of lighting. I loved the bathroom, very well lit and had shampoo, soap, etc. The conditioner was watered down though. The bed was large, comfy and the pillows were nicely fluffed. There was a bench, table, mini fridge, and small sofa available in the room. Check in was at 4pm. Checking out (12pm) was easy and available through mobile. We had a lovely staycation at this hotel. Had a few mishaps but the managers were able to smooth things over. We repeatedly tried to order room service and were told they didn't do room service. Well after a day at the hotel we THANKFULLY ran into Andrei who works at the market place and he explained the way the hotel works which is basically scanning QR codes to order everything including room service! We called multiple times to the front desk and they should've told us all of this information!!! since we met him, our stay couldn't have gone better! I paid for the regency club and although it was nice there was a lot of confusion for the july 4th weekend. I made reservations as instructed and took the time to read everything, no problems there. Then for dinner i reserved a spot, and breakfast the next day no problem there either. Then I didn't get an invite to reserve breakfast the next day.. so i called the front desk and they assured me that I didn't have to do that. Ok... are you sure? yes, we're sure thank you!. Ok... next morning.. huge ass line to get into breakfast and i'm waiting in it and i'm like.. oh its long because there is no more wait list.. oh wait.. THERE IS one? huge problem. I didnt' get to eat there even though I paid and tried to follow all the directions. Didn't want to fight the front desk about reservations if they are saying there wasn't a need for it anymore. why 5 stars? BEDBUGS! My first time staying at this hotel... And my last. Woke up, covered invites... At the end of the day, went back to my room and flipped back the cover to find bedbugs. Hotel staff came up and saw the same, even photographed and texted me a photograph. Today they called me and told me "We did a thorough check and there was no sign of bedbugs". ???? Definitely not staying here again and I would caution you to do the same... They will be opening room 403 tomorrow and the bed has bugs. read more

Our firm holiday party was held here. The space and staff for our semi-formal party was fantastic for our 400+ guests. The hotel was under construction (no bar, restaurant, pool or hot tub) but arriving on Saturday and departing Sunday, noise was no issue. We were able to check-in early! I believe our group rate was about $140/night for Saturday stay. The room given to me was fantastic. I really liked the coat hooks on the wall, lay flush when not needed, pull out when needed. Couch was great for my carry-on to sort out clothes and such. The bed was badly sunken near the walkway but in the center was more evenly worn. The floors being bare and the walls thin, I heard the cleaning crew in the next room. If a full hotel, guests would be loud enough to be annoying - without them even trying to be loud. The mini fridge was small but cold. Iron, ironing board, bathroom nicely stocked with a facial soap bar and refillable, secure liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner, and lotion. Smelled fantastic and they're vegan offerings. Like another user mentioned, no microwave. In the center near the elevators was an ice and water dispenser. Both were great. Use your refillable bottle instead of the $7 water in room. Convenient to John Wayne SNA airport. Was $15 for XL Lyft mid-day on a Sunday with minimal wait going to the airport. I walked (5k round trip) to a great plaza with limited parking where there were several eateries, a barber, communal outdoor dining space, and an inviting outdoor bar. Look up Tuk Tuk Thai and you'll know where it is. Lovely walk, though exposed, it was perfect on this December Southern California day. Lots of luscious, perfectly maintained landscaping for the business buildings nearby. There's also San Joaquin Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary nearby which I wish I would have done some research on as it'd been great for an early morning run! Overall, good spot to stay, but be warned the beds may be worn/sunken in and there is no restaurant or bar or pool or hot tub at this time. read more

We had a great stay here. Prior to our arrival we were greeted with an email from Michael informing us of the possibility of construction and noise as they continue the renovations of the hotel. I appreciated that note because they anticipated my needs and also informed me of the state of the hotel. Upon check-in we were greeted by Mariam and she left a great first impression. Prior to our stay I had informed the hotel that I wanted to celebrate my first Valentine's Day as a married man and the hotel helped me make the stay special. We were greeted with a letter and a bottle of champagne from the hotel. Our room was a spacious and comfortable Corner King Suite. It was clean with all new furniture and furnishings. The sliding barn door to our bathroom and bedroom was a nice modern fixture that adds charm to the hotel. I could go on and on about our stay, but I will sumarize this by saying that we really enjoyed our stay, the staff, and the new facilities. The valet was efficient and I look forward to their opening of their restaurant for our next stay. This location is still under renovations and so not all amenities are available. No free breakfast only the market inside near the front lobby. No bar but they had wine for sale in the market. No electric chargers as of yet. They said renovations will be done around Spring 2024. From what I've seen they're off to a great start. The hotel smelled very pleasant and looks elegant. They have a ton of conference rooms of different sizes that can be rented out for special occasions and events. Our room was nice. A double queen room with a balcony and view of the roof/outdoor parking area (not the best but we were only on the 2nd floor. Parking is out back and costs $40 a night. There were some issues with my reservation but the manager on duty make sure we had the best experience and handled everything. I appreciate his dedication and understanding of the situation. Hotel is new, clean and spacious. But the walls are paper thin. They host outdoor weddings and place guests facing the wedding. Allowing music to be blaring until way past midnight. Good luck sleeping. It's a huge hotel they certainly have space elsewhere... Management here does not care - don't place guests facing this area or don't allow music to be so loud. We spoke with them but they really don't seem to care. We are globalist so we have spent time at many Hyatts and never had such an uncaring experience. "Basic panini sandwich" It was fantastic! $17 Was at a Marriott in St. Louis for business a few weeks back. Ordered some simple food from the cafe. $20 And it was terrible.
