Beautiful property and conveniently located close to SNA airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. The walls can be quite thin and the light sensors by the bed was a nice touch but it constantly turns on.

I was really impressed with the room. So new, clean and modern with a great view of Irvine. Appreciate the free water bottles but wish the self parking was more convenient. There was a dance competition going on all weekend so the parking lot was packed. Had to park so far from the entrance. I do want to come back and try their club lounge.

Located near major freeways in Irvine, California lies this top-tier hotel with wild views of the city and hills. I decided to check-in to the Hyatt Regency on my way to Mexico and I use my points to book this day. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the front desk perception and was offered a variety of complementary items, such as slippers, shaving kit, extra pillows, extra blankets, rollaway bed. I didn't need any of them, but I took them up on the shaving kit offer. The restrooms were fully stocked with towels and toiletries. felt completely comfortable bathing here. Few pieces of important info: * There is no complementary breakfast. It's made to order but is open from 6 am till 11 am. Room deliver is available. * the parking isn't free. Seems to be a theme with SoCal hotels. It was $40 per night or $47 for valet parking. Great stay! Probably the best I've had in SoCal. I'd support your decision to stay here.

This is my second visit to Hyatt Regency Irvine. We came around Christmas holidays and the decor was stunning. The hotel is a hidden gem. They renovated the place and the LED screens around including the pool gives it a modern feel. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite due to my status. It was a very nice 2 bedroom suite with a sofa in one room and a king bed in the other. The room was immaculate. The view is of the offices. The service here is great. The only reason why I gave them a 4 star is the club lounge requires a reservation on open table. I know they have to do it when they're busy but it is highly inconvenient. I do love their club lounge though. The food offerings are great. The staff there are helpful. The lounge while small, is a quiet place to hang out.

The Hyatt regency Irvine was a great place just to hang out. Though the location is close to everything in Irvine and near Corona Del Mar. the lounge is fantastic, though you have to make an appointment to get in which is a little odd, though a testament to their popularity. Service is great and the rooms are spacious and nice.

Side shelf next to bed with a lamp and plugs- excellent!

Absolutely 5 stars. I mean, that's what you're paying for, right? Convenient location, right off the 405. Check in couldn't be easier, on the property they have a great restaurant, a really cool bar, awesome pool with a big screen. This trip we watched the Winter Olympics while lounging in the pool (flex). The service is top notch and everyone working here is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have extra amenities I've never seen before. Next to the beds on the opposite side of the nightstand is a little shelf to place your phone and bottle of water. Check out my pics if you're unclear what I mean. We will definitely be back again.

Great property. Parking is expensive with car chargers in valet part of the lot. Small dining area with great bar that has a wonderful patio. Great staff. Coffee shop on 1st floor. Nice small gym on 2nd floor (i believe). Room was great with comfy bed. Shower was average. Outside pool.

Some treats were left in our room and the sweetest hand written note from the front desk. Shout out to Makala!

We recently stayed here for my daughter's 4th bday. They have a nice pool area with two small slides for toddlers to enjoy, the pool is heated especially during this cold random weather. The market inside and the regency club lounge has decent food for decent pricing. The only thing I did not like was the food and bar prices at the pool area, I mean $19 for a canned wine and then $17 for 2 small boxes of stale waffle fries. Just go to McDonald's or something and get ur food if ur starving by the pool. The service I will say was great tho! From the valet ($47 a night compared to $41 self parking) to all the people at the front desk being super efficient and patient and friendly, we would stay again! It isn't super close to Disneyland (with traffic took still about 20-30 min), but there is alot of nice places around the area to eat and shop around. Shoutout to Makala from the front desk who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great!!!

We had an overnight stay at the hotel when meeting friends in OC. We chose this hotel due to its location being close to John Wayne airport and 405 freeway. It seems the hotel just went through renovations, lobby and restaurant areas look fully remodeled. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly, and we were able to check in right away. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean. The hotel has a large pool and jacuzzi area. Unfortunately, we were not able to use it due to the cold weather. One extra bonus about the hotel: this is one of the few Hyatt in California that still offer Regency Club dinning. The restaurant was clean, with very good culinary and dessert selections. The restaurant staff was also top notch. The room was quiet, and we had a very restful night of sleep. Highly recommended.

Great stay at this new hotel! Property is two years old and the layout was designed well. Self parking was $41 per night with in and out privileges. Bottled water in the room is $7 as well. There is also a convenience store next to the lobby which has drinks, wine, beer, snacks etc. Gym and pool are on the second floor, all in all very nice stay

100% a hidden gem. Go now because it's going to get more expensive in the future. Everything is brand new. The vibe of hotel is so cool. The music around the hotel is so dope. You don't feel like you're in Irvine the second you step inside the hotel. The staff is super nice and helpful. The pool is amazing. Great bar. Great vibes. Thank you for starting the 6pm movie exactly at 6pm. That was a big deal to me for some reason lol We will be back!

The check in was easy. The elevator was very nice some have views to look at outside. Our room was spacious. We had a balcony and it was facing the pool. You can watch what is playing on the screen. We were there for new years and the view from our balcony was great to view the fireworks. We would love to book a stay here again.

Laura at the front desk did what she could when our room wasn't ready upon arrival. After we mentioned the condition of the chair, she arranged one room with free parking, which we appreciated. Deanne, our waitress, was very kind and accommodating. Gilbert, our waiter, went above and beyond. Both my son and I have severe food allergies, and he took excellent care of us. His service was truly exceptional. Unfortunately, the day before (6/12), when my son had asked staff about safe food options due to his allergy, the staff on duty seemed uninterested and dismissive, which was disappointing and concerning. Jasmine in the coffee area was also very sweet. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. Julie, the bar manager, appeared to be drinking wine every time we saw her. At one point, when my husband got up to look for something, she responded with attitude rather than asking if he needed assistance. The bar was packed with softball teams and players, and it felt like helping guests and supporting staff should have been the priority. Service overall was poor. We requested towels and waited over an hour. After following up, we were told the request had been forgotten. The condition of the room was unacceptable. The chair in room 833 was broken and extremely dirty. We were told it would be replaced, but it never was. Most concerning of all, after returning home, my husband developed bites and went to urgent care...they were consistent with bedbug bites following our stay. One additional disappointment: I accidentally left my Conair 10x magnifying lighted vanity mirror in the room and called the very next day to ask if it had been turned in. I was told it had not been found. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience we've had--the dirtiest hotel with only a few friendly staff members. We will never be back,

It was pretty hot (for Irvine) outside. And you definitely felt it in the hallways. It was hot and stuffy. The pillows for the bed was terrible. Caused me to have a kink in my neck in the morning. Our included breakfast in the AM was ok. They used liquid eggs which just isnt that great. Dont get me wrong though, theres a lot of things I enjoyed about my stay here, including: The room looked very posh and high end. AC works amazingly. The bed is very comfortable, you just sink right into it. I really enjoyed how stable and fixed the bed is. The shower pressure us amazing. Good water pressure. Nice fixtures. Customer service. I had a long day of driving due to seeing customers, and really needed a nap before having dinner with a customer later in the evening. I was not in the best mood due to the 90+ degree heat and all the driving I had to do when I arrived, the staff at the front desk were quick to help me with a parking pass and I liked that there were plenty of parking spaces (and glad the parking spaces were in a structure that is covered). The room itself was clean and nice. I appreciated the extra towels and plenty of pillows on the bed. I had a very pleasant nap before my next meeting with my customer. The extra outlets everywhere is much appreciated, and the wifi was plenty fast for me to do a bit of work in the room. I came back later that night and slept very well, as the AC was plenty strong even with the Irvine heat. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, I liked that all the tables were clean, and there were plenty of hot and cold options for breakfast. Along with plenty of coffee. I had to leave early in the morning, so I appreciate the very early breakfast hours of 6am on M-F and 6:30am on weekends. I can't really think of anything wrong with my stay, I didn't interact with the staff much as I was so tired and stressed from the work day. The only thing I can comment on is if the parking spaces can be a little bigger, my rental car fit just fine but I noticed the SUVs and pickup trucks were having trouble fitting in the spaces.
