Hygge coffee is a new gem in La Mirada! It's located in the Little Caesar plaza. The plaza is/was kind of dead, but Hygge definitely livens it up! I visited because the pictures were so cute on yelp, but the drinks are very good too! One of my favorite/go-to coffee drinks is iced vanilla latte, and you won't be disappointed here. The interior is very cute and spacious so if you need to study or get some work done, it's a good spot, since it's not loud or crowded (yet). There's a parking lot and the owner (I think?) is a very nice/friendly man. When I'm back home in Fullerton, I think I'll be visiting Hyggee more often :) read more

My favorite coffee spot in all of California. My go-to is the iced latte -with an added shot or Americano. The espresso here tastes so smooth and I love that their milks/creams are only high quality ingredients. I was talking to the owner about how their coffee tastes so smooth and learned that the quality and purity of the water and cleanliness of the espresso maker is key so that minerals do not build up. I got an iced latte and my boyfriend got an iced dirty chai, and I can safely say it was the best tasting coffee I have ever had in my life. I'm very picky with my Chais and I really love the one from here. Most places make the same sweet chai that tastes exactly the same and I suspect they use the exact same ingredients. This place is amazing! Although located in a small and unassuming strip mall, I was blown away with how cute and clean the place was. Came with my cousins and we ordered a hot Spanish latte, yuzu cooler, and hot bergamot tea. Everything tasted delicious and they have oat milk too for my fellow lactose interolants. For the coffee, they use Stumptown Roasters, a heavy hitter for those really into coffee. Besides that, the wifi is super fast and the workers are extremely kind and courteous. Great service -- so friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in. We first started coming in during the beginning of the pandemic when there were no eat-in options and the owner was very thoughtful in asking us what types of drinks we preferred and helping us choose. Hygge Coffee is a super cute and cozy coffee shop! We ordered a cappuccino and a yuzu tea. The coffee was great and the tea was really nice for the rainy day - sweet and sour and perfectly yuzu-y. The staff was really friendly and sweet - since it was their opening week, they gave us some complimentary cookies to take with us! :) I would definitely come back - there's plenty of seating too, so I could see this becoming a great study or brunch spot for folks nearby.
