WOW! This place is PERFECT for getting a lot of work done, with plenty of tables and a nice ambience to be in the zone. Not only is the environment great for working, but the coffee is actually very good. I had the iced vanilla latte and it was fragrant and not too sweet. There is parking in the back of the building, and you can also enter from the back side of the coffee shop as well:) I was about to turn away and go somewhere else since there was a full lot in the front, but there definitely are a lot of parking spaces in the back so that's a plus! read more

I love this place! I have been three times in the last month. It's a beautiful space to get some work done. Outlets are plenty, wi-fi is fast, coffee and food are awesome. Very reasonable prices. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the most lovely people. The menu is a nicely sized menu with plenty if options for a variety of coffee and tea drinkers without being overwhelming. I ordered a lavender latte and the bulgogi panini. The lavender latte had the full flavor of stumptown coffee and was flavored well with cream and syrup. I absolutely loved the flavor of the marinade on the bulgogi that was in my panini. This has been an excellent experience. I love this place to study But over the summer it was hard to stay because there is no AC. They really want you to buy and leave here. This place is brand new so they're still working out little kinks. But they have the sweetest customer service! Definitely a mom & pop family shop. I had to tell them what a dirty chai was but they made it perfect with their first try. We tried the chicken salad sandwich and the ham and cheese panini. Not my favorite but not too bad. I would stick with just coffee the next time I go. They gave us complimentary cookies for their opening week, that was really sweet! It's not your hipster, Instagram type of spot but it's perfect for studying or meetings. They have a good amount of tables for four and walk plugs which is perfect for study groups. WiFi was a little slow for us the day we were there but maybe it was just that day. I agree with a previous review about the music being choppy. Hopefully those things improve! A lovely little cafe that you feel cozy and comfy in once you're inside. Coffee itself is delicious - got a iced caramel and vanilla latte. The owners are also very friendly - looks like a mom, dad, and son team who just want to give people a nice atmosphere to relax. Decor is cozy, boho, and clean. I stayed here for around 4 hours and got a bunch of work done! I'll be back for sure. They're a new store and I'm a firm believer in supporting small, family businesses. So, if you need a coffee or place to work, give Starbucks a break and visit Hygge! Only small feedback (and normally don't include in reviews but I see that the owners respond and read them - very thoughtful!): * the classical music was lovely but the connection was spotty and interrupted several times. A bit loud too. If you can figure out a way to take the static out and reduce the volume it would be perfect * the space itself is well designed. I will say it's a bit open which reduces the "cozy" vibe. Maybe adding a few couches or reading chairs? * for a true hygge experience, candles are a must. First and foremost, the owners make this coffee shop hygge. Although it is cute and homey inside, it wouldn't really be a hygge place if the people running it weren't warm! I like the care they put into their food and drinks. They really want to make the place one of their own instead of modeling so many of the other typical coffee shops in the area. Being that most coffee shops follow the minimalist, modern look, Hygge is a refreshing change for those who prefer a cozier environment. However, they are continuing to put finishing touches as they grow since they have just opened. One of the things I love most is that their food is actually very tasty and well-made with fresh ingredients :-). I got the sweet potato and ham sandwich which was light and yummy. If you're vegetarian, you can leave the ham out and it'd be good that way, too. I also got a hibiscus cooler which was made with sparkling water, just perfect. Outside seemed a bit sketch but was pleasantly surprised by not only how sweeet the owners were but by the overall ambiance of the cafe. Great service and atmosphere with decent food and drink. Hygge Coffee is definitely a cafe where one could sit and work for a while. We selected the Yuzu Cooler for a drink, and it was carbonated soda on top of yuzu flavoring mixture (the kind you could buy from a Korean grocery store). Overall simple, refreshing, and easy enough that I want to try making it at home now. The Korean BBQ Bulgogi Panini is very popular, but we were just slightly let down by it. The bulgogi flavor was rather muted (no sauce from it either), and the inclusion of two types of cheese made the panini come across as a cheesesteak rather than korean bulgogi. I would skip this next time and get a different item. Like the Sweet Potato Mousse & Ham Sandwich, which is original and tasty. Ham is ham, though the sweet potato mousse was the star of the dish. The mousse was light and fluffy and creamy, and contrasts with the lettuce that provides a crunch for texture. A simple sandwich but a solid one, would get again. Delicious and just the perfect amount of sweetness. The balance was perfection. Nothing to complain about here. Yuzu Cooler ------------ This was a unique drink! It reminded me of a citrus sprite flavor. It was a bit on the sweet side for me initially, but once I mixed it around it was fine. Came here on a holiday Monday afternoon to study and there was PLENTY of seating - very spacious. This is after going to two other cafes that were packed. Found Hygge on Yelp and l knew it's a brand new place in my neighbor so I finally got a chance to visit with my friends. Really nice little coffee shop hidden in a strip mall. Hygge is a Danish word that refers a unique feeling of comfort (some say it doesn't have an exact translation in English). With that, this place definitely has that feel. When I went, it was very quiet despite being full of students and such. This shop is actually quite open and has tile flooring, which seems unusual but works with the vibe. I tried the iced vanilla latte here and it was really good; a tad on the sweeter side, but in a satisfying way.
