Wontons & BBQ Pork Egg Noodle Soup
    Joe H.

I have been here multiple times now. Their pho is very average at best. Especially nowadays, many pho restaurants have really stepped up their game while this place....hasn't changed much. I think it may be the star anise... The broth has a distinct difference that does not work quite well for me and it is different from other places. Today though I felt like venturing out and ordered their egg noodles with wontons and Chinese-style BBQ pork and it was actually surprisingly good! If I had to review just based on today's experience, I would have given this place 4 stars. Portions were big and I love all the veggies they put in here. It really makes the broth more multi-dimensional in terms of aroma and taste. The service is always solid. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is okay too. Don't come here expecting some romantic dining experience but the inside is well maintained and service is fast and unmemorable in a positive way[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

My favorite pho restaurant I have been to! The service is amazing and they are so friendly. I have been going to this restaurant for over 6 years now, and the quality has continually increased. So tasty and amazing portions for your $$!!

    Mongolian Beef

This is one of my absolute favorite pho spots! I usually order pho every time I come, but today I wanted to try something different, so I ordered the Mongolian beef. I was honestly so surprised -- the beef was incredibly tender and literally melted in my mouth. The sauce was also amazing, and I kept saying "wow" while eating because it was that good. I'm so happy I discovered such a delicious dish unexpectedly! I'll definitely be strongly recommending this place to my friends and family.

I ordered shrimp curry. The curry only had 2 pieces of shrimp and the rest of it was corn. Should rename to corn curry!

The pho here is so good!! Being Vietnamese I am a harsh critic when it comes to pho, but it is so delicious here and the portion sizes are amazing! I love when there are a ton of herbs in the pho makes it so good. The broth is nice, clear, and didn't make me feel ick after from MSG. We also got the fresh rolls and those were good, no noodles in it though which is fine since there are noodles in pho lol Always a little interesting when they serve other cuisines at a pho restaurant but most people were having pho. It is a great spot if you are craving!

    Small pho (D and G)

We came here for a quick lunch on a Tuesday afternoon because my husband was craving pho and he mentioned he's been here before. It was fairly busy since it was lunchtime but we got seated right away. We each ordered a small pho (one D and G). One with brisket and meatballs and the other with brisket and rare steak. The food came out pretty quickly and we were pleasantly surprised how big the bowls were for being the small size. Overall it was okay but I didn't think the broth was especially flavorful and my husband wanted the broth to be hotter. Maybe it's just preference? The food was fine but I guess nothing stuck out to me and also, $14 for a small pho?? I wonder if prices for all pho places have gone up!

Nothing clever to remark about here. The Food is good, not spectacular, but good. Same for the service. The TV was a bit loud...

Place went down hill taste wise. Was our favorite go to stop for pho but the broth isn't the same anymore.

The menu is quite small with three cold sandwiches and three hot ones, each inspired by a different region of the globe with the South Pacific, South America and Mediterranean as a few examples. There were two salads listed as well. I've been here twice and both times, when I went to place my order on the iPad, the menu stated they were out of stock for the sandwich that I wanted. However, when I asked the employee, she said that was not correct. So if you see the same message when ordering, it's worth asking about it! During my first visit, I ordered the RENDANG ($14). This hot sandwich came packed with SO much meat! Very tender chunks of marinated beef tasted of coconut, curry and warm spices. The flavor had true depth and I could actually taste hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Thin spears of pickled cucumber and carrot added crunch and a perfect zing of acidity. They were refreshing and cut through the rich beef. A drizzle of Sambal Terasi (chili) aioli gave it another layer of flavor. Cilantro, mint and Thai basil were all fresh and vibrant. The bread was lightly toasted, being a little crinkly in texture without being harsh against my gums. If I could change something, I would include a couple extra slices of the cucumber to balance out the ratio of vegetables to meat, and add a bit more of the aioli. Other than that, this is a great sandwich influenced by flavors of the South Pacific. My companion got the STEAK sandwich ($15) and enjoyed it. The steak slices were thinly cut and tender as well. They do their beef right! On another occasion, I tried the PROSCIUTTO ($14), one of their cold sandwiches. The delicate layers of prosciutto were placed on top of sliced tomatoes, pickled onion and arugula, all between pressed focaccia bread. Truffle mustard was spread on both pieces of bread, which was WAY too much in my opinion. With this mustard having a stronger flavor, it overpowered the sandwich and made it too tangy, especially in combination with the pickled onions. The menu stated this should include pistachios, but I didn't notice any, and they were all out of provolone, so there was also an absence of cheese. For the prices, these sandwiches are pretty generous in size, so I consider them a good deal, especially for the Bellevue area. The ingredients are fresh and make for a fantastic lunch option. While I wasn't a huge fan of the Prosciutto sandwich, I'd definitely go back again for another Rendang!

The bagels were delicious and toasted perfectly. It came with whipped butter and raspberry jam on the side. The pastrami omelet was very large and came with a generous serving of potatoes. ALso tried the pastrami and corned beef breakfast bagel, which was packed with almost like an omelet tucked inside a bagel. Also got a side of hand made chicken sausage which was okay. Tasted healthy. The one disappointment was the vanilla latte. It tasted more like it came from an automated coffee machine than a traditional espresso machine and lacked the flavor and quality I was expecting. Most things are self-serve here, including finding your own seating, grabbing silverware, getting water, and pouring drip coffee. As we were leaving, a live musician was getting set up to play, Which added a really welcoming atmosphere. The inside is nicely decorated and family friendly, with lots of children's books around to help keep little ones entertained. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but the portions are large. Food tastes good, large portions, cozy atmosphere, and live music, I'd come back again though I'd probably skip the latte next time.

We ordered both the #7 Omelette: Nova Scotia Lox and the #2 Omelette: The Supreme Omelette. Of course both were such generous portions that we had leftovers. We also got the Reuben. The sandwich was so big it had to be deconstructed and eaten with a fork and knife.

Sadly the bagel sandwiches aren't nearly stuffed to what they used to be and even the orange juice had extra pulp.
