This place is amazing. I love the Pho and the chicken rolls. I have never had a bad meal from here ever. And everything reheats great.

The overall experience was decent. I ordered the large combination pho, but the broth lacked the depth of flavor I'm used to, and the meat portion was on the smaller side. Service was okay--it's self-seating, and the menu is accessed via QR code, though that wasn't immediately clear. We walked in on a weekday for lunch - 3 adults and a toddler. We read about the reviews about the smell next door from the smoke shop, but didn't expect it to be that strong. This is a hard review to write. Immediately opening the door it smells like a lit cigarette. It's really really bad for the 4 non-smokers we are. Had we not had a hard enough time deciding on a place to go I would have turned around and walked out. My parents were in town from out of state and I was embarrassed this was the place I chose for us. The floor was dirty and they were not busy with tables but do seem to get a decent amount of to-go orders. The service was fine. The food was pretty good and the bun bo hue was exactly the broth I was craving... however we won't be back. The smell is just terrible. What a shame, they should really move locations if the smell is from the smoke shop next door. It's hard to believe that a ventilation system can be shared by two businesses of this nature and the air flow from one business carries into the next?? I've tried this place a couple of times and even though the food is ok, nothing to write home about, the staff seems rude but worst of all is the SMELL!! I was there yesterday to pick up an order and couldnt get that smell out of my hair/ car for a day. The whole place smells like a dirty old dish rag with mold and cigarettes. It will seep into your pores and make you want to vomit. I don't understand why it stinks so bad but I WILL NOT be going back there again. Doing an update and reducing a star due to the past couple of experiences. A place I used to rave about and frequent, has now become just ehh. My absolute favorite is the M1 and on this recent visit I requested the omission (as always) of the quail egg and calamari, and have it subbed with extra pork and add wontons. Food came with no pork--but no biggie because they brought it out eventually. The biggest concern was the lack of flavor in the broth. Ive never had to add salt to my bowl but did this time... and that says a lot. Mix that with the too much pepper taste in the steamed wonton and the big pieces of hard celery in my bowl, I was underwhelmed during this visit and think its kinda falling off which is very unfortunate. Note too, my bowl was missing the fish cake and when I inquired, I was told that was included in another bowl not the M1. I explained previously it was included (see my initial post/picture) and I was told it must've been a mistake. A mistake over 10 times? Naw... AND it didn't have those square garlic/onion like things in them either. I'll give them another try and hope it was just a bad day and new staff is getting acquainted, but yeah. Horrible service, very rude people. I ordered beef pho and was disappointed there were only 3 very tiny beef pieces. when I requested hot sauce they gave a very small container with half a TEA SPOON, yes literally half a teaspoon and said I will have to pay extra if I want more. I had to ask for the sides that they did not put it with my take out. Food was average but service was awful. The employees here are always hardworking and super friendly. The pho is consistently great whether you are eating in or ordering takeout and the add ins are always super fresh. I always look forward to seeing everyone when I'm able to dine in. read more

We had the pork spring rolls with the peanut sauce and an appetizer and the Mongolian beef with fried rice for the entree. They were delicious. The service was quick and responsive. With the tip it was a little over $32. read more

As others mentioned, it is a shame that they are located next to a cigar shop and the smell is seeping through the walls. Because of the smell, we choose to order takeout or get it delivered instead. Totally out of their control so my review is solely based on the food itself. The food is really good! From their pho to grilled pork rice plate, you can't go wrong. We've tried a number of other Vietnamese restaurants in the area and can confidently say this is our favorite. I love that this place is so authentic and tastes so good. It's my go to pho place at the moment. I love pho and there is a difference in good and bad pho. This is good pho, the name may not sound authentic, but it's authentic. I have only two pho places I go to and this is one of them. I order the pho tai bo vien (brisket and meatball), pho ga (chicken) or bun bo hue (spicy beef/pork noodle soup), I also would either order the spring rolls or egg rolls sometimes. I'm salivating as I write this lol. I've tried other pho places and they are good but If you want authentic pho, try this place. You won't regret it. Till then, let's eat!!! read more

Me and my brother and my mom had the best pho at this store the service was great they were nice and the food was so filling the pho has lots of noodles they also have soda and boba like taro a tai tea. Nothing better on a winter day than coming to a freezing-ice-cold unheated restaurant that's filled with the thick stench of stale cigar smoke while you sit on uncomfortable metal chairs. Food is tastesless, or maybe it tastes like cigarettes, I don't know. Had to change my clothes and wash my hair after coming out of that casino-like atmosphere. Much like other reviews, I also am left wanting more meat especially after what I paid for the whole bowl. The broth was missing some depth of flavor and needed to be hotter in order to cook what little meat was in the pho. I understand that COVID impacted a lot of restaurants so I don't mind paying a little extra to support a local small business but I still want to get good food in return. This is the closest pho to my house so I come here often, the food is good, the service is good too. The only thing I don't like is that it's right next to a smoke shop so it always smells like smoke some days it's not really strong but for a non smoker while eating it's annoying. I was really excited to try a Vietnamese place to fill my craving for a good rice plate and egg rolls, however I found this place to be - just okay. I really, really wanted to like it. The flavor of the grilled pork was very good, however the portion was very small: a small, thin piece of pork. The egg rolls seemed small in size as well and lacked flavor (considering they were about $5 for two small rolls). Their fish sauce that accompanies the rice dish and egg rolls, lacked flavor and seemed watered down. It's not all that BAD, but it's not all that good either, unfortunately :/ I don't think I would go back. I've tried lots of Vietnamese food in the DFW area, as I am Asian, and I'm sad to say this one just didn't quite hit the spot for me. read more

Arrived right at opening for lunch today. The smell of cigarette smoke upon entering really put us off. When we were seated, we noticed how dirty the place seemed to be. There was a film on the table and chairs, and the front window was so dirty it was cloudy. Once ordered, an uncomplicated order of 2 beef pho and an order of shrimp spring rolls, we asked for extra sprouts and herbs for the pho. Maybe the server didn't understand us, but she seemed irritated, and told us we had enough for two. Finally, when we promised we'd be happy to pay extra for additional garnishes, and she brought them. Soon after we becan to eat, someone turned on the TV at a very loud volume, making it difficult to talk across the table from each other. We had to ask them to lower the volume. The pho was unremarkable. Spring rolls were OK, although the peanut dipping sauce seemed overly thick. Ladies' room was not clean, and there was a piece of what looked like broccoli stalk stuck in the drain stopper of the sink. I do not think we will return. read more

Solid Pho. The broth is somewhat inconsistent, meaning the general flavor profile changes each visit, but that is somewhat to be expected.Typical spring rolls, but that's not a bad thing.
