I Tre Mori coming to Fishers a few years ago has been a life saver! Best wood oven pizza on the north side. Can't go wrong with the Diavola and some of the Bianca cheesy bread. Only complaint is the drive thru system. Some people arrive before their scheduled pick up time and in doing so hold up the entire line. Wish they would ask people to loop around if that's the case. I love the authentic pizza at this restaurant! The thin-crust pizza is perfect and the wood fire gives the crust such a wonderful flavor. I ordered delivery of the Pizza Gustosa most recently and the combination of sausage, mushrooms, garlic, thinly sliced white onion, and chili flakes is so delicious. This pizza does have some heat, but not too much. It is one of my favorite pizzas across the board. The Caesar salad is one of their most popular menu items, but to me it is just a solid, standard Caesar salad. The lettuce was very crisp and it did not have an overwhelming amount of dressing, which I find is common when ordering it elsewhere. They were out of the Millefeuille dessert which almost made me cry. I dream about that dessert. If you've never had it before, it is a Napoleon. They make it beautifully at I Tre Mori. The pastry is crisp and the custard is not too sweet. I have a thing for this particular pastry and they make it perfectly, it is one of the best I've ever had. I ordered my meal rather late, so I don't know if it's that they don't make a lot of this dessert because it's not as popular as the more common tiramisu they offer or if it is so popular that they ran out! I was looking for a tasty...grown folks pizza place! They did not disappoint! Everything was fresh! The wood fired oven gave the crust just the right of amount of smoky crunch to compliment its softness once you took that bite! I got the Pizza Quattro Stagioni! Chefs kiss! I just visited i 3 Mori after many people recommended it to me. We Italian, I had to try it of course. Overall, it was a great experience. They have also authentic product like Illy coffee, San Pellegrino drinks, nice surprise! FOOD: I went for the Pizza, classic Margherita, since they have an actually wood-oven and they have been names one of the best restaurants. The pizza was actually pretty good, the dough was kinda light, I would say pretty close to remind me somehow Italy. The ingredients on top were also pretty good. SERVICE: very efficient and convenient. I love that you can order at the counter and they'll bring you the food. It was pretty fast. AMBIENCE: it was a very nice day, so I sat on their patio, which I loved. They have also a nice indoor space if you wish to seat indoor. Overall, great experience and good quality/price value. I've been wanting an excuse to try I Tre Mori for a while. I went to their previous concept, Passione Pane, and found it could use some work but had a solid foundation. It seemed like they were kind of between a dine-in experience and a takeout/casual place. Desserts were really good, but the pizza was also not quite on it. Good foundation, but could use some work. Unfortunately, I think the pizza fell short in terms of authentic, Neapolitan style pizza. And particularly the cheese. Let's start off with the good though. You order at the counter and they give you a number. If you order several things, they serve you with a good amount of time between your salad, appetizers, etc... So while you don't have a dedicated server, the staff coordinates well and you have a sufficient amount of time to enjoy your food. The Caesar salad started off our meal on a high note. Patachou's Napolese is my gold standard for a Caesar salad in this town, and honestly I think I Tre Mori outdid even them. They added an appropriate, not extraordinary, amount of dressing. The cheese was fresh, and the croutons were clearly made in-house. My wife and I split this salad, but I could have eaten a whole one by myself. A+. I decided on the Pizza Valtellina and my wife got the Pizza Margherita. Unfortunately what came out on both pizzas had entirely too much cheese and tasted like the same cheese blend that any number of pizza places use. This isn't to say the cheese is bad, it is good. But it is not something used at a traditional, Neapolitan style pizza. It also didn't really pair well with the other ingredients on my pizza, which were excellent. The crust was also really good, just as good as any other Neapolitan style place in town. But the excessive amount of cheese and the generic cheese blend really detracted from the experience. I'm happy to come back here for a delicious salad, some wine and excellent dessert. But I can't say I'll be coming back for a Neapolitan style pizza. Oh my gosh this place has some of the best pizza around. This time I had the Angelita pizza. All pizzas are 12 inches so you are basically set for lunch the next day too . The Angelita had pancetta, Gorgonzola and a homemade fig chutney. It was a bit sweet but out of this world delicious. Pizzas are baked in a hot wood oven and the crust is perfect. Even my picky husband can't complain about the crust. This time we actually had someone come over and take our order but typically you order at the counter and then they bring it to you. They also serve beer and wine which I think is new. The inside is nice. Service excellent. Holy Cow - this place was really good. We came here for the pizza, but the star of this show was the Rag Bolognese pasta. I don't want to get too emotional here, but that dish changed my life. I would have kept ordering three more servings, but that probably would have alarmed my fellow guests and onlookers, and I may have slipped into a hyperglycemic coma. Service was speedy; we didn't have to wait for long for our food. In terms of ambiance, the only thing keeping me from awarding a 5th star is the seating system. You order up at the counter, and then you pray that you'll be able to find a seat somewhere. Cancel your plans and come to I Tre Mori! Located in the previous Della Leva cafe, this new Italian restaurant is about as close to Italy as you can get. Walk in and you'll immediately see the massive pizza oven, handmade cannolis, fresh bread, and Italian beverages. The owner is Italian, so knowing that plus seeing the intense pizza oven indicated to me that it was going to be a goooooood meal. They have a big pizza menu, but also offer pastas, breads, apps, and gelato. I ordered a margherita pizza with mushrooms and a cannoli, and my husband got a margherita with sausage. One of the new, young servers brought over a pepperoni pizza on accident that they let us keep, so because of that, we had three pizzas at our table. Not mad about it! It was truly some of the best pizza I've ever had outside of Italy and I'm sooooo glad that we have I Tre Mori now within driving distance. You can sit inside to order at the counter, or you can go through their pizza drive-thru (yes, dreams do come true). M and I wanted some *Chef's Kiss* pizza one night and Molly Z was able to offer us this awesome suggestion. We did order delivery. We ordered the Pizza Delicata and the Quattro Formagi. Both pizzas were good and you could tell they put in a lot of time crafting them. The Pizza Delicata came with PEAR on it, WITH PEAR! When I tell you I felt like a Genovian Prince (Princess Diaries 2 reference - (pear popcorn)) that's exactly what I felt like! This pizza had all the flavors and each complimented the other perfectly! This pizza is as listed: Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Pears, Organic Baby Arugula, Walnuts, and Homemade Fig Chutney. The Chutney was another *CHEFS KISS*!!! First thing you will notice even from the parking lot is the huge imported Italian brick oven. The smells when you walk in makes you immediately hungry. My wife and I tried this place because of its unusual name, "The Three Moors" (the owners have Southern Mediterranean backgrounds). We reasoned it had to be authentic. And it is. We were surprised to discover, in an unassuming location next to a Fairfield Inn, original Neapolitan pizza, a rarity in Indiana. We have had pizza four times now at this nicely appointed gem. The pizza is baked for only about a minute in a high-temperature oven shipped from Italy in sections and reassembled by hand. For the uninitiated, this cooking process creates a pizza that is light and easily chewable, with a tall, puffy crust that is slightly charred . Unlike American-style pizzas, it has a crust that can be folded twice (some commenters have complained the pizza is "soggy" or limp). It practically melts in your mouth. Typically, Neapolitan pizza has a minimum of toppings. It's really about the quality of the dough or crust with a few flavorful ingredients added . This is not the heavy, crusty pizza you often find in Indy, overladen with gummy cheese, thick sauce and multiple toppings. Neapolitan pizza is served as a whole pizza, not by the slice, and can be eaten by hand, though in Italy a knife and fork are commonly used. High quality ingredients, notably San Marzano tomatoes and a mozzarella or "fior di latte" (likely imported) with a slightly sour saltiness, give the pizza its authentic Italian taste. The restaurant also serves a few pastas that we haven't tried, appetizers, salads and dessert. They all look good, but we go for the pizza. Service is okay if a little casual. Sodas like Coke are provided in cans, and you have to ask for ice. Come to think of it, just like in Italy! I Tre Mori deserves all the accolades it has gotten. It's an interesting concept. It's the fanciest fast-casual style restaurant I've ever seen. The place is hip, extremely fast, and the food is magnificent. The staff and service are both excellent; it's the type of place that hires youngsters with manners. It's also a place where staff take an interest in their customers. I Tre Mori has a large menu: appetizers, pizza, pasta dishes, dessert, and drinks. You name something Italian, and they probably have it. Since I haven't tried their pasta, I can only say it looks delicious. The goodness of their pizza is something I can verify. They don't have a soda fountain. That's my sole criticism. Like in Italy, the pizzas are small enough for one person but large enough to share. Like it Italy, I Tre Mori serves traditional toppings like prosciutto and fresh basil. Unlike in Italy, their pizzas have a defined crust and have American-style slicing. No big deal. Of course, I had the meat lovers, which included prosciutto, homemade sausage, and Asiago cheese. I didn't allow myself to eat the whole thing, but it's the best pizza I've had in a long, long time.
