Possibly the best yogurt ever! Love the variety of flavors and toppings!

Ian's is one of the best in any area around! They may not have a huge selection but they always have a tart, fruit and a rich flavor along with some in betweens. Even if they don't have one of my favorites out they always have something that works for what I am craving. When it comes to toppings they have everyone beat! I came here today since it was 90 degrees outside. I tried the mountain Berry, cupcake, creme brûlée, Belgium chocolate, Vanilla, pistachio and loved every flavor! I added sprinkles and mini Reece's pieces and hands down the best yogurt in the area. Blush, Coco Swirl, Yogurtland and Yogurt Shack cannot compare. Hands down the best in the area! read more

Still the best froyo and the pineapple is da bessst. They also are really good about posting their daily flavors AND HOURS on their instagram @ians_yogurt since both change often and so you can know what they have before you get there and not be disappointed when there is no pineapple flavor. Not many flavors to choose from. Very noisy, their yogurt machines churning away. Couldn't here the clerk talking to me. Plus expensive, $6 for a small yogurt. Their syrups were all sticky from being handled all day. I won't be back, even though they are up the street from me. read more

this is the best neighborhood froyo spot in town! I love the mom/pop feel of it. My favorite is when they have the red velvet flavor & cake batter flavor. i usually get a swirl and put all the toppings on it.. I also love Ians because it's reasonably priced by weight (unlike most overrated yogurt spots). read more

Their flavors were all fantastic. Even my husband who doesn't like frozen yogurt after tasting ours got his own. It was really busy so we didn't get a chance to sample we just had to blindly choose our flavors but we are very happy with the ones that we chose there were four of us there and we all really enjoyed what we got read more

i was ok with this place for a quickie fro-yo fix, but the flavors didn't thrill me, and there wasn't a tart option when i went in. i also think they should make the vegan flavor with soy milk or something. the guy there told me ithe vegan flavor was sorbet. ew. creamy yogurt, please -- not icy! overall, i'd go here in a pinch, but not if i had other options. sorry, ian's. read more

What a fun place to take the kids for frozen yogurt! My son loves their fruity flavor selections while my daughter prefers the traditional vanilla or chocolate flavors. I typically opt for the red velvet or cupcake flavors. I love that they are always changing out the options so it doesn't get boring. The staff is helpful and friendly. read more

Thank god Martinez has this place. I was so tired of driving to Pleasant Hill for fro-yo. Ian's yogurt is super creamy and they have an endless goodie bar to top your yogurt with. Very well priced and they offer a frequent buyer stamp card. Buy 10 and you get one free. Pretty awesome. I must say though.....I wish they put their coffee flavored fro-yo up more, but all there other flavors are pretty tasty. read more

After falling in love with Pinkberry is SoCal, I was sad to return home to the land of bad yogurt.....until Ian's! I'm so excited about this place. This frozen yogurt was flavorful and the toppings were diverse! Even had butterscotch syrup which I love! I'm sorry I did not get the employee's name but the young man working there this afternoon was extremely polite and helpful. Told me that Georgia Peach was his favorite, gave me a sample and it did taste exactly like peach! I had to add that to my already filled cup. Owners take note: He's a good sales person! What a great addition to Martinez. I recently discovered COCO swirl in downtown Pleasant Hill, and this place is just as good, if not better. Yummy yogurt flavors, with a variety of toppings. Really reasonable, and a great buy 10 get 1 free punch card system! I hope they stick around. read more

The yogurt here is delicious (especially the Milky Way flavor!), and the kid table they have is a big bonus in my opinion. I have always had friendly service. Sometimes the music and/or tv is too loud for my liking, but all in all I love coming here. My kids and I have filled up several frequent buyer cards. read more

Love the place--great-tasting yogurt and quality fresh fruit for toppings. My only complaint: they have too few fruit flavors in comparison to the usual vanilla, chocolate, etc. I constantly ask for the wonderful pineapple and mango to come back, but rarely see them. And what about bringing in lemon or peach? Or what about ginger? They need to stray away from the conventional--they would attract more customers. read more

I've been going to Ian's Yogurt for many years. The Yogurt is very good and there are many types of toppings. Ian's is always very clean, has good seating, inside and outside and a television up on the wall. There is also a daily newspaper and other things to read. But most importantly, the young people who work there are hard working and always helpful and friendly. The owner is also very congenial. Ian's is a fun place that I highly recommend. read more

Everything written above is true. The atmosphere is pretty chill. And--while were WERE hooked on Coco Swirl in Pleasant Hill we are now hooked on Ian's in Martinez--much closer for us, more comfortable, better toppings and right next to a Kinder's. Mmmmmmm... Moreover, they have a little table for kids and the owner, Daniel (not Ian) and his wife (I don't remember her name) positively fawn over children. I only have two complaints; more eco-friendly bowls and lids would be better than styrfoam and a highchair to contain my crazy little 13 month old. So this couple is running this store in memory of their son Ian and profits are going towards helping kids with cleft palates. This place is AWESOME See you there. read more

Excellent froyo place. My friends and I now meet up here at least once a week to enjoy some of their delicious frozen yogurt. it's really nice to have an inexpensive treat and a place to hang out with friends without dropping the dough. The owner/employees are always very friendly, and quick to offer free samples. big fan of their buy 10 get one free card, i'm working on my 3rd one! sometimes we get frozen yogurt right before they close and we eat it at one of their outside tables - whoever is working there at that time is very courteous, and always waits until we leave before cleaning up the outside, which is great because we never feel rushed to leave. very convienient location, close to my house, and right across the street from the movie theater. read more
