We arrived early, and had to wait in their lobby area for a little while. They had WiFi and the sofa was comfortable. I noticed that they offered quite a number of other services other than massages as well. Just like last time, the massage was very relaxing. Our masseuses were very professional and friendly. I came in for a lash appointment, and upon arrival the staff seemed a bit confused, as if they weren't expecting me. I had called a few days beforehand to confirm that my ClassPass reservation went through, and they added me to their system and sent a confirmation text, so the situation was surprising. The lashes themselves looked really pretty, however, the retention was the worst I've experienced. After about seven days, nearly 80-90% of the lashes had fallen out. My lash extensions typically last around two weeks, so it was disappointing to lose so many within the first few days from normal brushing and washing. I do not think I would come back for lash extensions here :( read more

We arrived about 10 minutes before our appointment. The space is new and looked clean, which was a great first impression. My husband and I booked a couples massage through Groupon after seeing good reviews on both Groupon and Yelp. Unfortunately, the experience didn't fully live up to expectations. When our appointment time came around, there was no update from the staff, and it took about 15 minutes after our scheduled time for us to be taken into the massage room. During that time, we didn't feel particularly welcomed; staff interactions felt more avoidant than friendly. Once we were brought into the room, the staff simply left without explaining anything. There was no guidance on basic policies (whether to remove all clothing or keep underwear on), which felt awkward. When I stepped out to ask a staff member who was doing another client's nails, her response came off snarky and condescending, asking if I had "never been to a massage" and telling me to take my clothes off. When I asked for clarification, she confirmed we should keep our underwear on, but again seemed annoyed to have to explain. During the massage itself, both therapists talked to each other throughout the session. They tried to whisper, but it was still distracting and took away from the relaxation. This was also my first time receiving a massage where the therapist wore gloves. I read online that it's normal for hygiene and protection, but the gloves made the therapist's hands feel cold at first, and at times they squeaked, which was another distraction. Overall, the space is clean and there's potential here, but customer service, communication, and professionalism need improvement to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. With better training and attention to the client experience, this could be a much better spot. read more

I explained that I only had a few dollars left for a tip, and both employees repeatedly asked whether I could pay using Venmo. I told them I could, but my phone was buried in my large purse and I was trying to find it. I became frustrated and upset by the repeated requests for payment. When I left, I gave them the remaining $4 I had with me and shared my concerns about how the situation was being handled. We had a 90 minute couples massage today and it was very thorough and relaxing. The beds were heated so we didn't get cold, and the room was neat and clean. The masseuses checked in on pressure level and were happy to adjust accordingly. 90 minutes is a good length not to feel like things are rushed and you can really relax and get lost in the experience. They used your choice of 3 scented oils, we picked lavender, and it wasn't strong at all for those sensitive to strong scents. They also used hot stones during part of the massage, which was nice and further helped to relieve tension. All around a great experience and there wasn't any pressure to tip. The person at the desk (my masseuse) seems almost a little surprised we tipped, but they was just my impression. My boyfriend booked an hour couple massage for this place at 11:30am on a Sunday. We got there a little before and were brought into the room around 11:40/45 to change. The room itself didn't have music, but you could hear the music from the hall. The lights were dim to set the calming mood and the beds were nice and heated. The massage was soothing throughout. They would periodically check in and ask if the pressure was right. We loved the addition of oil since not many places do it without asking! Ladies! Do not wear makeup! We received a light facial and scalp massage as part of the package and it was great! My only caveat was it was barely 12:30pm when I checked the clock when we were done, so it was more of a 45 mins rather than 1 hr massage. read more

If you're looking for a real massage and not a half-hearted rub down, book with Xiao. She is incredible. I came in with serious knots and tension, and she worked through all of it with the kind of firm, intentional pressure I always hope for but rarely get. I was sore the next day (as expected!), and honestly, that's exactly how I know it was effective. She gave me the full 90 minutes--every minute of it counted--and never once used her elbows, which is a major win for me. I can't stand when therapists rely on elbows instead of technique, and Xiao had full control the whole time. To the folks complaining about soreness or tipping: Yes, you might feel sore after a deep-tissue massage. That's normal, and it means it worked. Yes, you should be tipping 15-20% and even more if it's a longer massage on top of what you pay for the massage. You're paying the salon for the service, but your massage therapist depends on tips as part of their actual income. Don't short them. Update: 2 nail tips fell off within 2 weeks. The nail tech claimed they would stay for 1.5 months. Looking back she did not buff the inside of the tips prior to attaching the tips with UV gel glue. Definitely very disappointed. My old gel designs had great retention ( 4 weeks) from he previous visits. It seems the nail techs can be a hit or miss. read more

Came here with a Groupon, when I called to make an appointment I was a little sus'd out because the Groupon said for either a Swedish or deep tissue massage and she never asked which one I was booking for. When we got there we witnessed another couple coming out when we were waiting to be let into a room. They really hound you for a tip. They don't ask if you want to tip they ask cash or card. Then when you don't tip what they deem is enough they'll ask you "what can we do better" which seems innocuous but there's definitely an undertone of why didn't you tip. When the customer told her what was wrong the lady then tried to defend herself and made excuses. The massage itself was probably the worst I've ever had. They hit everything but still seemed to do nothing at the same time? I left with a bunch of tension still in me and the technique was not good for both me and my husband. Another thing was when they put oil on me she basically put it directly on me instead of her hands first. During the massage the lady also had to leave To greet a customer too so that definitely pulled both of us out of relaxation. WARNING - We got into the room at 6:10. They finished at 7:03, so they also scammed us out of time for the massage. Overall DO NOT GO HERE for a massage at least. They offer many services here, & it appears that massages are lower on the menu, but don't be fooled. Massages are exquisite. They do nails, facials, eye brows, cupping, etc. The massages were soo good. I love a deeper, harder pressing massage & they delivered. At one point we had knees & elbows going into my back- LOVE. I had the worst experience of my life at this location. I went in to use a Groupon for a 90 minute massage. My appointment was scheduled for 11am & when I was on my way I received a text from them asking if I could come at 11:30 am instead. I was ok with that since I was coming from Vallejo, that would gi me time to arrive, check in & use the restroom. Upon my arrival to I Color I was greeted with hostility because I was 10 minutes early. I asked if I could check in & use the restroom. The lady pointed me in the direction of the restroom. After I came out, I sat down & waited for the therapist to come & get me. 11:30 am came & no one came to get me. So I waited until 11:36 am & then I asked the same lady who greeted me with hostility, where was the therapist that was supposed to be working with me. She then asked me if I could wait until 12p to be seen. I told her no, because my original appointment time was at 11am. I asked why would you schedule an appointment and not have the therapist to fill it. She didn't have an answer, she advised me to call the owner of the establishment. I asked why can't you help me, then she started saying I'm busy, and she con doing another customers pedicure. I said someone needs to help me and that this was very rude & unprofessional. The other lady there got up from doing the customers manicure & then called her boss. Neither of them spoke English so they couldn't barely understand what I was saying. I was extremely frustrated with an experience that was supposed to be relaxing. When she got her boss on the line, she didn't help the situation at all. I asked if I could get a refund because I felt like they were playing games and wanting me to alter my schedule due to their lack of professionalism. She refused to refund me and told me to call Groupon. So now I'm waiting to hear back from Groupon regarding my refund. read more

If you enjoy an establishment telling you how much you should tip them and won't let you leave until they are tipped to THEIR liking, you've come to the right place. I've never experienced an establishment be so rude about tipping. I understand in America it is practically obligatory to tip, but the percentage/ amount is at the discretion of the customer. Establishments should not have a say in how much they deserve based on how they think their service was. This encounter completely ruined the experience for me as a first time customer. We made an appointment at 5:00 PM - got there right at 5:00 and there was what looked to be a walk-in that got there before us. The two ladies at the front desk asked us to wait on the couch while the walk in got seen. We waited for about 45 minutes and there were no other staff members around to give us an estimated time as to when we would be seen. Jenny is amazing - I've been to several different professionals over the years to get my lashes lifted and they've always had trouble with one side. My boyfriend and I got the Groupon voucher for the 90 minute Couples Swedish or Deep Tissue Massage with Hot Towels and Essential Oil and got there about 10 minutes early. It seemed there were only 2 ladies that were working and they were super nice. One of them took us to a room in the back right away. Our appointment was for 2pm and the massage probably started about 5 minutes early, although ended at 3:18pm (checked my phone right after to see time). The massage was really good for me, but my boyfriend said it was alright and could've been more attentive. There were a few hiccups; my lady had to pause my massage and see my Groupon voucher on my phone (even though she already checked it when we got in) because she was confused on whether it was the 90 minute or 100 minute massage. Although I told her it was the 90 minute one, she still wanted to see on my phone, so she had to grab my purse for me so I could show her. It was also a little inconvenient how my lady had to go in some other room and grab the hot towels multiple times. The highlight of the massage was definitely the scalp massage part though. Overall pretty good, I just wish it was a constant massage on my end for the duration of the 90 minutes (80 actual minutes). Luckily my boyfriend's lady wasn't doing all of these distracting tasks, so he got a constant massage for those 80 minutes. It was also very annoying that the tip was a fixed amount that they decided on. I definitely wasn't going to tip $60 for the service we got today. 1. Facility was clean/looked new-ish and looked inviting. 2 months after baby delivery, every part in my body was sore and I was really looking forward to this massage. She ended it at 3.10 pm btw- yes I checked the time. 2. On a hot CA day, seemed like the AC wasn't ON. I had to turn on the tower fan in the room myself which was reasonably loud and stayed on for the duration of the massage. 3. No music. Sorry, how are you in business and not know that massage rooms should have nice and soothing music playing so folks can relax? I had to ask for music 5-7 min into the massage when I figured that the massage therapist had forgotten about turning any on or making the room little less lit for the cozy feel one should get while getting a massage. She put something on her phone upon me asking- some random radio station it felt where folks were talking in Chinese between the songs- maybe ads? Unpleasant. 4. Please ask for a room towards the inside, if they have one. I was given a room right on El Camino and could hear every vehicle that went by. NOT the relaxing atmosphere I was looking for. 5. I specifically asked for the Lavender oil- oil didn't seem scented at all. I would recommend making your preference clear upfront. 6. I felt rushed, maybe because of the Groupon, which they said btw- that I should buy the next time and just come straight to them for the same price deal. 7. I tried to communicate some of my concerns like a loud tower fan blasting air at me for the 60 min of the massage, but the massage therapist spoke minimal English. 8. After such horrible service, they expected a 20% or more tip. I tipped and before leaving let them know that I won't be returning. We have couples massage often as part of spending time together and could tell these ladies weren't really trained or know what they were doing. Kept pushing into the middle of my spine, that has never happened before. Now I need to go to my PT to have him adjust me. The most annoying part when we left, they DEMANDED a minimum tip of $15 per person. Which was not clearly communicated to us beforehand. I planned to tip regardless but not as much as $15 which was well over 30% for mediocre service. On top of that, when I asked for change, the lady nearly refused to give me change, wanting to keep my large bill as her entire tip...The first lady even lied saying she had no change, but the second lady said they had change under the notebook....super shady. I had my nails done with ICY and it was amazing. She really took the time to make sure that every single nail was the same shape, and all the angles were perfect. Trust me this is like a high-quality nail service. Her salon was very clean and her equipment was all packaged up so you know they took care of it and make sure it was sterile. I've never been to a nail salons. I had so many selections before and they're all in the box so you can actually look at them and see how it looks. I highly recommend Icy, she was really good.
