Ultimately, this is the most overhyped, generic tasting food I have had In San Antonio. Tried the brunch, their lunch and dinner menu as my friends and colleagues keep raving about this place; frankly every menu item is underwhelming. While visiting Dallas I came here for brunch based off of the Yelp reviews. The ambiance inside was so cool and it was definitely very busy which was a good sign. Our server was really nice and helped point out some popular dishes we should try as first timers. I got the bloody Mary which was delicious and spicy (my favorite). Great service with tons of dining room seating. They have a full bar and the bathroom was super clean. We had a full pitcher of French press coffee, biscuits with bacon Jam and honey butter as a warm up and then I had the chicken and waffles. All were served pretty quickly and were plenty hot. There was so much food I just couldn't finish it all, despite it being so tasty. This isn't diner food, so don't expect diner prices. The chicken and waffles was about 15 bucks but the tenders were so good and they were huge. Definitely hand breaded. Loved them. I would definitely return any chance I had. This wonderful restaurant in Addison exceeded my expectations! Came here for an early Mother's Day lunch and had some of the best food. We started with the edamame hummus platter which was delicious and beautifully curated. I also tried the lavender drink- not sure of the exact name but it was also really gorgeous and a little sweet. We have tried this place twice and were disappointed both times. The decor and ambiance are warm and inviting, but I wish they put half that effort into their service and food. On our visit in the Summer 2025, the service wasn't great and the food was super disappointing. The fried chicken took forever to come out, and when it did it was cold. They brought out more chicken (after another long wait), and it was warm, but had no flavor. We chalked it up to a bad night, but it took us until last night to try it again. This time we went for drinks and planned to stay for dinner if it was going well. It took quite a while for our drinks to come out, and the pours were VERY stingy. We literally laughed when the second drink, a double whiskey, came out - it was much closer to a single (if that). The fried green tomatoes were good (thanks to the sauce), but the boudin balls were overcooked. The deviled eggs had a great consistency, but were lacking on flavor. The biggest issue - our waitress disappeared for long periods of time throughout our whole visit. She never asked how the food was or asked if we'd like another drink or refills. We were thinking of ordering dinner, but when we couldn't find her again we decided we would just pay the bill and leave. My husband finally got up to go find her, but she saw him and headed our way. The chicken and waffles are no joke a requirement. Usually I'm not a fan of chicken tenders, I prefer my fried chicken on the bone but these were quite frankly the best chicken tendies I've had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. The coffee infused maple syrup was the perfect blend of sweet and bitter to accentuate the spices in the breading of the chicken. Truly a feat of culinary engineering! We much rather would have liked to sit at a table. Service was very much lacking. I didn't like that at all. Now to the food. Fried green tomatoes was the star of the show. So good and made perfectly. The sauce they paired with... chefs kiss. Absolutely loved. -crawfish corn balls I could of did without. Me and my sister both didn't like it at all. Send it back. The food and the service is always top notch and they have Happy Hour Monday - Friday from 3-6 and 9-close. The happy hour consists of $3 beers, $5 wines, $7 cocktails and several $8 bar bites. My favorite item on the menu is the seafood Campanelle, which is a pasta filled with shrimp, crawfish, andouille sausage, tomatoes, corn, spinach and a very flavorful piquant cream sauce with campanelle pasta. Unlike a lot of restaurants that serve pasta, this pasta is served with enough sauce to soak the noodles so that they aren't dry. The portion size is huge, so you always have enough for lunch the next day. Lol. My other favorites are the chicken and waffles, biscuits, monte cristo, and the crawfish corn beignets. Another plus, is that there is always a good mix of old and new r&b jams playing in the background. I have nothing negative to say about this establishment.
