Ok, we have eat'n @ IHOP several times before but never had the excellent service we received during our Disneyland vacation. Our server "Olga" was on top of everything. We did not have to ask to refill our drinks. She even brought us to-go cups for our drinks. We were treated as if we were at home. To start off with, the restaurant itself seemed very unclean and unpresentable. The entire place smelt like urine and just unclean in general. First walking in the server seemed pretty disinterested, however mostly pleasant. The waitress we had, although she was kind, took an extremely long time to do things like bring us refills, when the restaurant had maybe two other SMALL parties, so she wasn't overwhelmed with customers. However, again, she was extremely pleasant and seemed to have very nice manners, and since we were there for a while she did get us several refills and received an amazing tip. Very disappointed. Bugs everywhere! I don't usually post reviews but I strongly feel that people should know before dining at this establishment. Went there for dinner around 6:45pm 02/27/18 and were seated promptly but service was soooo slow and we had to wait at least 30 minutes before we finally got our order of pancakes. After the pancakes arrived we noticed tiny little bugs started appearing. Out of nowhere it seems they were all over the table. We noticed them on the walls, table, syrup bottles and on our plates/pancakes. We notified the server, she said, "Oh, that happens sometimes, sorry" and asked if she could seat us at another table. We were so disgusted we told her we couldn't finish our meal and told her we were finished and got up to pay. As we paid the cashier on the way out, we told them to please notify the manager of the bugs, and they said that they did. That's it. No offer of apology or even an offer to comp our meal. The workers there seemed so nonchalant about the fact that there were bugs, like it was a common occurrence. Beware before eating here. I was so disgusted I was ill afterward. Have eaten here twice, both times following races at Disneyland. This location is a little farther from the park, but usually less crowded than the location right across from the entrance. Typically very quick, efficient and friendly service. Food is very good, and for some reason the hash browns here are consistently better than at other IHOP locations. Went here during lunch with some of my staff while we were at a seminar for work. The server was good, prompt and friendly. The food all came to us as it should have and I think the only complaint out of 5 of us was the cheese on top of someone's omelette wasn't melted (I hate when that happens too, actually. Our last minute stop before hitting the road and the long drive home. We knew what we were getting going into IHOP but I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service and quality of the food! From the host to our server Rigo our party of six was well taken care of! We had many special requests with our meal and Rigo accommodated all of our needs with a smile! To start things off, the waiter gave my brother the wrong omelette, had to remake the corn beef hash because the waiter said that it "didn't look right", and it took 20 mins to get hash browns because they were forgotten about. Then, we were only checked on once (hence the forgotten hash browns), the family who ordered before us received their food when we were almost done with ours, and then to top it all off the waiter gave us the wrong check at the end of the meal.
