By far the worst encounter I've had with an IHOP establishment. The order was placed online with the mobile app, but the entire order was wrong and very poor quality. The orange juices were nearly pure water with no flavor whatsoever. In addition, the omelet was an unpresentable platter of mess with no care taken. The melt was not cooked all the way and was not even placed in the container in a semi presentable manner. The hashbrowns were undercooked and still cold in the middle even though they were ordered crispy. Disgusting. The funny face pancakes were mashed into the containers, totally unacceptable, even to a child who was looking forward to it. After returning to the restaurant, the refund process took nearly 20 minutes. While waiting, my wife, kids, and I noticed a cook on the line wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a Mario Nintendo character expressing the middle finger. My kids saw this, and asked why was Mario flipping people off. This is poor behavior, poor supervision, poor management, poor food quality, and should be thoroughly reviewed by district or corporate as applicable. Maybe even the municipal health inspector. I do have photos of the food and the employee with the awful attire and am willing to provide them to support this complaint. Please address and fix this. read more

Based solely on my husbands meal and customer service, this experience was a good one. Came in at around 9:45 on Friday 9/23/16 and I ordered the special. Croissant something or other. My husband had the breakfast sampler. Both sets of hash browns were almost inedible. They were burnt and crunchy as all get out, thin, and there was almost no moisture or soft starchy potato in the middle. However, the rest of his meal he claims was great and has no complaints. My croissant thing had barely any cream, scrambled eggs were way over cooked and as you know the hash browns were horrendous. Here's why they got four stars: the customer service we got from our server was better than any customer service ive ever received from a chain. When I told her I wasn't enjoying my food she didn't get an attitude, she did everything she could to make it right. Usually I'd never go back to a place like this, but the fact that my husbands food had no issues makes me think they can get it right next time. I'm big on customer service and I will most likely be back to try again with them. If it weren't for the nice super skinny brown haired server I'm not sure this rating would be this high. I went back to the front counter after a quick count, & pointed they had lots of open tables (20 of of their 38 tables were EMPTY!!!, ...!thankfully 6 of the 10 folks waiting ahead of me left in frustration) So we finally got seated In a very comfortable section, with ripped seats to show for it, And received pretty menus with sticky jam chunks on them to get those digestive juices flowing. We made an evening visit Friday for a light dinner. I ordered the smokehouse combo with two pancakes, scrambled eggs, crisp hash browns, and the smoked sausage. When the server brought my plate and pancakes, the pancakes actually looked like an afterthought...oddly shaped and very thin. The scrambled eggs were severely dry and overcooked, with no cohesive pieces on the plate. I almost needed a spoon to corral them. The hash browns were crisp on the outside but undercooked in the center, maybe the grill was too hot. The worst was the smoked link sausage ..cooked long enough to leave a piece of blackened sausage attached. It was edible, but barely. Inconsistent production is always concerning when I consider whether to return. They do close at 8p.m. and have a help wanted banner outside the store. There were only 5 tables eating so they weren't busy. Heard staff members arguing about doing work, busting tables and running food. I rarely go to Ihop but when i do, it's solely for breakfast. We actually decided on another local place for breakfast but the wait was 45min and we def didnt have that time as we were on a strict time limit. Ihop was around the corner and seated us immediately. I ordered the banana strawberry pancakes with hash-browns and scrambled eggs. The pancakes were good, the strawberries typical frozen and tangy. I pushed them aside. Hasbrowns were great as usual and eggs cooked perfectly. Kid had nutella banana crepes with hasbrowns, eggs and bacon. She devoured mostly everything. Half her hashbrowns went to her dad. We make crepes at home frequently on Sundays so she is used to my style. Although she ate all the crepes at Ihop, she still prefers mine. Yay! Ihop is more "raw" in terms of the crepe. Honey ate sausage platter. He enjoyed it as typical breakfast fare. Our waitress was pleasant and as we finished our plates, they were quickly removed. I saw one crew member sweep up the table next to us. They had 5 kids that made a mess. This guy was very thorough in sweeping. Like his life depended on it. I wanted to tip him just for his high ethics. I'm not a huge Ihop fan back at home in HI, but the one I visited today was superb. Took my granddaughter out for breakfast. With the COVID rules, the menus used are paper...we were given one to share. That is okay. Place was clean, and staff masked. I ordered my senior sampler with fluffy pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon. It is always a great choice while my granddaughter had eggs, French toast, and hashbrowns. The food was good. The only complaint I had the music playing in the kitchen was too loud, and our server had some very loud conversations with the cooks. I advised the hostess the dining experience would be better with the music turned down and if the server wasn't shouting, so maybe this only annoying part of the experience has been addressed. read more

Came here Easter morning and had the waffle special. Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and waffles topped with apple filling. So delicious and everything I was in the mood for!! The restaurant was busy so the service wasn't exactly great. Good. We sat there for about 10-15 minutes before our server came around but once we ordered, our drinks and food came out pretty quick. She was really busy so it took a bit to get our drinks refilled but all in all I had a great experience there. read more

The food here isn't the greatest and you get what you order. For me, the portions are pretty darn big. The reason for the high rating was because our server, who was this lovely young lady, was just fantastic. I think the one of the best service I've ever received. I wish I got here name. Didn't get turkey bacon like I wanted, didn't get hash browns, all of which I ordered by phone, which I feel took 3 call transfers to get to me. Had waited too long for just that one order. Waitress at front was a little lost on retrieving my order when I first went in to pay & take out. Had to go back in 15 mins later to check again. Went home to find the order was not what I wanted, called to let them know, was offered credit or free meal but didn't take it, too far to go back, no other alternatives to redemption. Friend got an ice mocha, and it still had big sugar crystals thy were not melted and was overly sweet. It didn't even taste like mocha cold brew at all, it tasted like water with concentrated syrup and sugar in it with a really acidic after taste. We requested to not pay for it because it was undrinkable and one of the servers gave us a lot of sass saying we are supposed to stir it ourselves and that it is not gross. It should be stirred for us when it gets to our table and we should not be argued with about how it tastes. Not like it took them more than 1 minute to make it because it wasn't even stirred nor is it real coffee. Sometimes it's fantastic, sometimes it's mediocre. I come every now and than on the weekends and I've found its very hit or miss. I tend to order the specials, but the food is not always consistently prepared. Sometimes the hash browns are soggy, sometimes they are burned. The eggs can be wet, or perfectly fluffy. Sometimes they over do it was the pancake toppings, and sometimes they are stingy! The pancakes tend to vary between fluffy and firm. Lately I've been disappointed but the service is usually pretty good and the prices are pretty good for how much food you get. read more

A year. later, he talked me into giving them another chance. Her pancakes were raw dough in the middle; eggs were far from what she ordered (ordered Medium Hard - NOT Over Easy). Same story with my bacon, eggs and hash browns. When I tried to cut the hash browns with my knife, they literally exploded off my plate! Eggs were cold; bacon was cold and almost raw. Three times the food was inedible.
