The one piece of bacon I didn't get to eat looking back at me :(

I was eating my breakfast. And I got down to my last 2 pieces of bacon that I saved for last. Cause save the best for last. And my server who was. Key work was. Doing so good. Took my plate with my one peice of bacon left on it (I only had ONE PIECE) that I freshly peppered without warning. I did not enjoy the feeling of heart break I had to endure. Please stop taking plates with food it was too good to throw out and I wanted it.

Breakfast for dinner.

IHOP is not a place I frequent, but when I get a free gift card to come here I will absolutely come and get some pancakes from the international house of pancakes. I stopped here last Tuesday for some dinner with my girlfriend and the place was pretty darn empty. I feel like most of us have been to an IHOP at least once so I'll skip the boring details of the menu. I decided on ordering a breakfast combo that would include sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and some birthday cake pancakes. This is what I thought of the food! Sausage- pretty standard breakfast sausage, tasted good though. Hash Browns- I likes these way more then I probably should have, they were honestly the highlight of the meal. Scrambled Eggs- These were bad, and they kind of tasted like garbage. I've never not finished eggs before, but these were just lacking heavily in the taste department. Birthday Cake Pancakes- usually I love these special pancakes, but for the first time in my life, I'm going to say that these were so sweet that it took away from them being enjoyable. It was almost too much to take. Overall, you know what you are in for when you eat at a place like IHOP. I made a bad order choice and for that, I paid dearly (those eggs were terrible). Maybe next time I'll just stick with some chocolate chip pancakes.

IHOP serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. They have fast and friendly service for pancakes, stuffed french toast, country fried steak, burgers, omlettes, eggs, hash browns, bacon or sausage, crepes, blt's and turkey sandwiches. With fast and friendly service I received my pancakes that were fluffy and delicious.

IHOP offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and a 55 plus menu choice. On the menu you can choose an omelet, pancakes, crepes, French toast, waffles, burgers, t bone, pot roast, Sirloin steak tips, blt and turkey sandwiches, roasted turkey and buttermilk crispy chicken. With speedy service and a smile I received my fluffy stacked pancakes that were very tasty especially with the four flavors of syrup you can try with them, strawberry was my favorite.

No food yet! Almost 1 hour sitting here.

We were seated at 10:27am Got my drink at 11:12am. Got someone else's drink too. Got our food at, well, it's 11:20am and we are still waiting (for pancakes, eggs and bacon). Looking around the room, I see 7 empty tables. Service is so bad at this ihop! I highly do not recommend going here! Unacceptable Buffalo! Do better!

The menu so far. I'll see what I'll get

They seated us fast, but food service was slow. We didn't mind much. Poor waitress forgot a few things a few times but she was very sweet and friendly. They do enforce the social distancing guidelines for NYS. We came as a group of 5, but they had to separate us due to a rule about not being able for a party of 5+ together due to Covid19. The food was pretty good though. Pancakes are amazing as always. I could tell the strawberries were frozen, but I understand that's more of a chain restaurant thing, not a specific restaurant thing. Would probably dine here again.

New Fresh Berry Crepes.. no berries, no filling at all just plain crepes. Horrible.

I keep on the lookout for a good value on the delivery apps. We don't use them enough to subscribe,…read moreso that makes it even more necessary to find the good deals. ZamZam Burgers & Fried Chicken is one of those gems! On UberEats they usually have BOGOs on their three piece fried chicken and fries combo and their cheeseburgers...among other items. We've also tried the chicken rice bowls and the fried chicken subs. We've never been disappointed...they seem to put care into preparing the food. They've always followed our special requests and bonus for using sustainable packaging! My favorite are the cheeseburgers, the patty is thin but wide, which is how I like mine. They come with cheddar, mustard, ketchup, pickles and onions. You can tell the beef is fresh and hand formed, no frozen pucks here! The fried chicken and fries are also delicious. I sprinkle a little salt on the chicken, makes it perfect for me. Excellent value for delivery and we'll definitely be back. I hope you give them a try! Thank you for being awesome, ZamZam!!

This spot is an Haal and Korean influence. Starting with the…read moreBeef Burger Deluxe, I was immediately struck by the quality of the patty. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and elevated by the subtle sweetness of the beet root. The Peri Peri Fries were a worthy sidekick - crispy, well-seasoned, and packing a pleasant kick. Then came the Korean Hot Wings. Forget what you think you know about good wings; these are a revelation. Crispy, saucy, and packing a complex, addictive heat, they might just be the best Korean hot wings in the area. Seriously. But the real showstopper? The Fried Chicken Sub. This sandwich is a masterpiece. Crunchy, yet remarkably moist chicken, loaded with flavor and nestled in a perfect bun. Not to be outdone, the Steak Rice Bowl delivered on all fronts. Generous portions of tender, flavorful steak atop a bed of perfectly cooked rice. They clearly dont skimp on flavor or portions.

When it comes to the local Buffalo specialty of chicken wings, every local has a strong opinion as…read moreto where to find the best. I visit the city every year in the fall, and I am still trying all of the wing places that have been recommended. The latest on my list was Doc Sullivan's, a very, VERY local watering hole. This is the kind of place that makes you immediately remember that you are absolutely not from here, but in the best possible way. Doc's is a historic, no-frills neighborhood pub smack in the heart of South Buffalo's Irish Heritage district. The second we walked in as clearly obvious outsiders, the entire room of rough-and-tumble regulars seemed to pause their conversations, turn towards the door, and stare at us. Even the bartender (who also doubled as the host and our waiter) clocked us immediately with a cheerful, "Hey visitors!" It was hilarious and broke the awkwardness we were starting to feel. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming once the moment passed, but it was clear we stood out from the regular crowd. If you have an aversion to dive bars, this is not the place for you because Doc's is not fancy. It's well-worn and smells like Fabuloso cleaner mixed with stale cigarette smoke and old beer. I was surprised at how clean the place was, but it does have that dive bar smell and feel. I felt like I'd walked onto a movie set because this place screams Buffalo, and does so loudly and proudly. I'm not a fan of chicken wings, but my hubby is. Food-wise, he ordered a half dozen of the famous Smitty Wings at the suggestion of the bartender, which come coated in the house's unique spiced butter sauce along with a half dozen with hot sauce. He liked the Smitty wings fine, but preferred the classic hot Buffalo wings, which he said had legit heat and were "more than decent." Not his all-time favorite wings, but still tasty and meaty enough to earn his respect. I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was massive. It was a fried chicken breast patty on a super soft, fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, and onions, tossed in a mild Buffalo sauce that had just enough heat for a timid spice girl like me. The quality was good, but not great, and it was basically the same chicken sandwich you can get at dozens of places around town (it was very similar to the same menu item at the Anchor Bar, for example). The fries were nothing special, and they tasted like regular old french fries you'd get at your local deli. They were freshly fried, hot and crispy, and we both appreciated that malt vinegar was already on the table. We had a good experience at Doc Sullivan's, but agreed that we would not go out of our way to eat here again. I wouldn't call it a must-do for foodies, but I'm still really glad we went. While the food wasn't all that memorable, it felt like a true local Buffalo experience that you don't get at polished, tourist-friendly spots. This is the place if you want to soak up local character and are seeking another stop on your buffalo wing eating tour.

Stopped by on a Saturday after checking out the Eternal Flames for some wings since the reviews…read moresounded good. The smitty wings just tasted like mild buffalo sauce and the honey cajun was pretty good. My issue was with the "ranch" sauce because it tasted like straight horseradish and every bite left a bitter aftertaste. The poutine fries would've been good if they didn't make the gravy with the power of the pacific ocean with how salty it is. All time favorite is def it's the hot honey pizza rolls, so bomb!
