At 6pm on a Sunday evening, the place was almost empty, waited for almost 10 minutes as I could hear the cook telling people that someone was waiting to be sat. Finally I found someone to ask for the manager. The manager ( I think her name was Celeste or something similar) was not plesant at all, stated that she didn't see us and that she was busy. As a person that's been in customer service for over 10 years, I was seriously disappointed that someone that treats the customers like this would be a manager. The food here looked like the picture in the menu but was literally chilled by the time we got it cause they sat in the window for over 3 minutes. The carafe of coffee had literally one refill in it. The marbled rye wasn't even buttered but an eighth of an inch. Lol. The omelette was 13 bucks. Lol. Yep Ben. Same thing for me today. Daughter and I went in - hostess seemed like she was on drugs or something; sluggish greeting & responses, inattentive. Get seated and then nothing. We waited 20 minutes (try doing that with a 3 year old who's hungry!) for someone to even come by to see what we wanted to drink (typically the first contact with your sever) but they never came. I warned people on my way out, "Good luck getting someone to actually come take your order for even drinks!" I can't say we were the only table - it was moderately busy; but you're an IHOP on the freakin' main strip by the Galleria mall for gods sake. Get your act together. Next time I'm picking a non-chain place where I might be more likely to actually get service. read more

This is a joke, my 3 rd time here in 3 years and each time I go I wonder why I came, so no more of this waste of money. The place is so commercial, has no originality. I ordered the stuffed French toast. I cut into it and found it to be hard and stale. I didn't even finish the first bite a waste of 7.99. The waitress, whom had no personality, told me most of there stuff is frozen except eggs and pancakes Good To Know ! Cheap food, and by that I mean the food has no heart in it. Had a groupon and tried this place out. Being the holiday season while there had the white chocolate rassberry pancakes ( very flavorful) wife had the spinach omelet. Service was a bit slow but food was good. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. This place is worth a visit. Nice clean place and decent food. read more

Well the last time I visited ihop, it was very nice this time NOT so much. 1st thing is we brung the kids as it was one of their birthdays big mistake he was cranky and crying the whole time which was aggravating . The waitresses was nice enough. The food was horrible my chicken fajita omelette looked like my 2 year old made it all of the toppings that should have been on top making it look pretty had all slide down the side of the omelette, the salsa & sour cream sides were only have way full not enough to cover 4 bites if it. The pancakes that came with it well I didn't touch them as they had a fruit fly embedded in them YUCKY! !!! None of us finished our meals need less to say. I won't be visiting again read more

Smokehouse BreakfastI hadn't been to I hop since covid started so I thought it would be nice for my 2 cousins and I to go their. It wasn't busy so I thought great it won't take long to get our food. We'll let me tell you I don't know who was the cook that day but he or she should be fired. I and my cousin ordered bacon, eggs over medium, hash browns and pancakes..That poor waitress had to take not just mine but my cousins food back to the cook not once but 3x because the eggs were runney and I mean runney.. then to top it off the 4th time I got tiny egg shells in mine and wondered if the cook did it on purpose because I sent my eggs back 3x. Thanks to that cook it will be a long time before I will be able to eat eggs again and to top it off even though it wasn't her fault you would think the waitress would have taken at least one breakfast off but nope..so I won't be going back their anytime soon.. read more

This Ihop sucks. I was in Buffalo on vacation, & came for breakfast. I always eat at Ihop at home & expected the same quality & service I get there. NOT EVEN CLOSE! The waitress was very snotty & acted like she was doing us a favor by taking our order. Not that she listened & got it right. I ordered a pancake combo, & asked for the eggs scrambled & on a separate plate for my 2 year old daughter & asked for my bacon extra crispy. My the eggs were under the hash browns & the bacon was almost raw. The hash browns were disgusting, covered in liquid margarine to the point of dripping. I took my daughter to the bathroom & it smelled like a sewer. My friend that was with us got her toast on a plate that was smeared with old strawberry sauce, which could have killed her since she is highly allergic to strawberries! They were also out of alot of things like iced tea & juice! Go somewhere else! I wouldn't have given one star, but I couldn't give it any lower. read more

First off, the place was not busy, and this was at about 11am. When we left at noon, it still wasn't busy. Where do I begin? Eggshells in the over easy eggs, ignored by the waitress, the women's bathroom had two stalls, only one was 'functioning', but had a broken seat, and the place smelled like a sewage pit. Some of the worst coffee I have ever had, and we finally had to ask an adjoining table to borrow their ketchup bottle as the one we asked for never arrived. The service, if I can call it that, was appallingly bad. There were two other tables occupied in our section, and I overheard them repeatedly asking for the same things, and the waitress saying things like 'Oh! I totally forgot!' She would then disappear for ten minutes. She did not appear to be someone on her first job, she just wasn't paying attention at all. The food was so inferior it is unlikely I will ever visit an iHop again, because this is not the first time this has happened, and everybody has bad days, but if I'm expected to tip for decent service, I expect decent service. read more

7-18-14 My sister in law and I went to the I Hop on Walden Ave. today. We go there often, but today was the worst. Our waitress was very very slow. We waited 10 minutes for some one to offer us a drink. The hostess came over only when my sister in law went to her. She got our drinks. Waitress (who only had 2 other tables) finally came over. No personality whats so ever. Our table wasn't clean and I asked her to have it wiped off. She said it was wiped off. We placed our order which took over 20 minutes to get. Waitress never came over this entire time. I got up and walked past the counter and I saw my sister in laws sandwich sitting there. My food was 3 pancakes and crisp bacon. I happened to turn around and saw another waitress look at me and said they were waiting for my crisp bacon. All I can figure is that the turnover of employees is faster than normal.
