This IHOP isn't much to look at from the outside - it looks old and tired, and it's attached to an even older and tired motel, but in this case, looks are deceiving. Yet another place I have frequented over the years and have enjoyed everytime I've been there. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, their menu has improved over time and the food has always been good to very good, if not exceptional. The service is always efficient, sometimes very friendly, and seldom have I come across a bad waiter or waitress. This particular night we held our band booster dinner party and learned they can certainly handle a big crowd - I was very pleased with the food, the speed of service, and they even threw in a few free hot chocolate's to boot! As is tradition in our family, we'll be back soon - Christmas Eve - for our yearly dinner out. First the bad. I rarely order coffee here cause they charge you over two dollars for a pot when all you want is a cup. This was the worst IHOP experience. The pancakes were cold. The rare sirloin tips came out well done. The homefries with onions had the worst smell and there was 4-5 pieces of burnt flat top grease they were trying to pass off as onions. I was pleasantly surprised at how god a non- breakfast meal could be! I've had bad experiences at other IHOP's, but was starving and in the hotel right there. I got tilapia served on fresh spinach that has been tossed with Alfredo, I substituted broccoli for the mashed potatoes- & then was told I also get a salad. I wasn't too excited- most of the side salads I've had were iceberg lettuce and a slice of tomato, cucumber, MAYBE carrots- but this salad was not only in a large bowl, it had several kinds of greens, a little diced tomatoes and I forget what else. I really wish I could give " 0 " stars! The place itself is disgusting and filthy. We set for 15 minutes waiting on a waitress to take our drink orders. We tried to get staff members attention, all out efforts were ignored. Our waitress was not friendly and seemed to be in a big hurry. The table at which we were seated was sticky and there were discarded French fries on the seat. My husband asked the waitress if she could wipe our table, she did so begrudgingly. Her wiping did not take off the dried on syrup. My husband ordered hash browns extra crispy and received shredded potatoes almost floating in oil. He sent them back. The waitress brought him a replacement order that was not much better after we had both finished our meals. I ordered waffles with strawberries and bananas as this has always been one of my favorites. Great service and just a fun place to go late at night to chat and relax...and to check out the frequently changing menu items. It's a lot more than just pancakes here. In fact, I almost always have something other than pancakes...whether it's Swedish Crepes or one of the really good dinner items like the steak tips (with caramelized mushrooms and onions), the super-tasty ham and egg melt sandwich, or the balsamic chicken. As one of their newest menu additions they have Cinni-Minions (named after the little characters from the movie "Despicable Me"), which is fried dough dipped in cinnamon, drizzled with icing, and sprinkled with multi-colored sugar. This is obviously kid's food, but I struggle to find anything deep-fried that is anywhere near as delicious. Needless to say, for general waistline purposes, you should only have this once in a great while. read more

On Thursdays my daughter has a class that doesn't finish until 6:30 pm, so we treat ourselves to dinner out on that night and this week it was IHOP. My wife a chicken salad, which she enjoyed and I had the bacon & beef burger with bacon and an egg on top...yes, I said an egg! Now, I like my egg cooked 'over easy' so the yolk is runny. I thought how is this going to taste and wow, it was Great, I broke the yolk so it run over the bacon and the burger, everything blended So Well! Ignored service on 3/4/2017 for breakfast. My wife and I got seated by a pleasant hostess and then after that we were ignored for over 13 minutes. Other people arrived and got seated after us and had their drinks and food orders taken. We sat in our booth and watched while waiters and waitress' walked by us. After 13 minutes of not getting any drinks or food ordered we told the staff and left. We got tired of seeing other people coming in after us and being seated and having their drinks ordered and food ordered taken. We went down to Denny's located down the street on Cheney Hwy and got seated, drinks served and food arrived in 10 minutes. I told the manager of Denny's about their great service and how IHOP down the street had us seated and ignored us for over 13 minutes. Eat at Denny's and not IHOP! BTW - I also gave a 5-star on the Denny's site and mentioned the ignored service IHOP gave us. My wife always tip 20% so the IHOP waitress lost out while the Denny's waitress got more than an 20% tip for her great service. Snooze and you loose IHOP. read more

I went here for a family breakfast and was very disappointed with the quality of the food. The food looked like it was just made as fast as possible and thrown onto the plate. The silverware and plates were also very dirty. My plate still had remnants of what appeared to be a powdered pancake from the previous customer. There were two waters ordered in my party and both of them contained dirt particles. The service was also not great. It seemed like the servers just wanted to get the food out as fast as possible and not cared if we needed something throughout our eating. So my family went to Ihop this morning for my mothers birthday breakfast. Our waitress brought our drink and none the less spilled ice water all over the front of her... Wow....the service here was TERRIBLE!!! Absolutely terrible. They forgot half of my husband's breakfast and even though we reminded the waitress when she brought my food, a half hour later, it still never came out, and she never checked in on us, so he never got to eat. The staff was running around freaking out about calling in more waitstaff because it was "so busy", but it was only me and my hubby, a table of 3, and a table of 1. At 6AM. They must have called 3 additional waitstaff in!! The extra waitstaff arrived and looked at them like they were crazy. The cook kept stepping outside to smoke in plain view of us and one waitress kept using the F-word very loudly right next to our table. It was like a bad SNL skit. Absolutely horrible. And then they acted like they were doing us a huge favor for not charging us for the hubby's food, which he never even received!! Do yourself a favor and skip this one. Seems like any thing sets then off and there is no consideration for the customers. We observed empty table while we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Maybe if the staff understand that they have jobs because of the very people they mistreat, they'd conduct themselves better. One person mentioned that they are under new management. I say get a broom and sweep this place clean. Start over with a whole new crew. Saw the person who was initially greeting people take the menu and throw it where the others are kept while grumbling about quitting. We sat in an area where 3 empty tables were the entire time while people waited to be seated. They clean the tables in between customers but no one looked on the floor to see the food.
