Went two different times, one was takeout one we sat in to eat. They only seem to have one waitress and one cook at a time which makes everything slower. No problem, we're patient and they're doing their best. Food was good when we sat in to eat. Pancakes, omelet, kids burger. When we ordered to go in the app, the chicken tenders were over cooked, couldn't eat them. Mozzarella sticks were cold and we were only staying at a hotel across the street so 5 min time. There was also a woman in the parking lot walking everywhere having some sort of episode asking everyone for money, talking and laughing to herself. Made us all uneasy. read more

Always tuff to judge a breakfast chain because well it's a breakfast chain. My 4 stars are due to it looking and tasting like an IHOP. Restaurant clean and no wait. Servers work hard and that should be appreciated. My boys also left two little cars behind and the server saved them in the case they may come back to find them. They offered hluten-friendly pancakes until about a week ago. They made the decision to discontinue providing the option even though it is still on the menu. I can overlook a lot of they offer something other places don't but they took that away. You are left with burnt bacon and hair in your fruit bowl. Came for a late visit after a very long day and didn't know that the veterans meal was only between the hours of 5am until noon, but they were able to accommodate it for me despite the time, I was given the grand slam. Visited this IHOP for dinner. Ordered the turkey melt w fries and hubby ordered the breakfast sampler. Everything was good. It was fairly busy and we were patient BECAUSE what I found was that there was only 1 waitress, 1 cook, and 1 asst cook/busser. Evidently, one waitress had finished her shift and left so obviously the restaurant was short-handed. There were some customers who had left after being seated because they had waited too long to be waited on. In her defense, the waitress was was running around like a mad woman. Being an expediter, waitress, hostess, cashier...I felt bad for her. At the same time I was irritated because, as a manager, I would have drove my *ss to the restaurant and pitched in to help. Honestly, what kind of a leader are you?! Oh wait, you're not. So many managers think they are above everyone that they no longer need to help out when needed. I wanted to get up and start helping the waitress serve the food. It was insane. What I couldn't believe was that she was keeping it together. A well-oiled machine. I hope you give her a well-deserved raise (and not a piddly $1 one) because she deserves it. She's one of the good ones and deserves to be recognized for her hard work. Every time I think about this I just get so angry. Work employees to the bone and you turn the other cheek and don't give a rat's butt cheeks. I visited another IHOP in Amarillo last year and encountered a similar situation. A waitress all by herself and the cook just walked out right in front of us. He was fed up. Took his apron off and walked out the door. The waitress thought he was joking, but he never came back. She had to go to the kitchen and cook the food herself. It was unbelievable. We had decided to leave and go to The Waffle House. Absolutely disgusting food, but we were starving from a 10-hour drive. Back to the original story. It's an IHOP nothing fancy. One thing I will say about THIS IHOP is that the server was awesome . She had 6 tables and never had an issue being polite, patient, and kind. Keep her around for sure. IHOP, or if you are old enough to remember this name, International House of Pancakes, ua long-standing chain of restaurants that has been a part of the American landscape for decades. It has fed many a family, weary traveler the highways and in general the cross-section of an American life. This particular location is just off of Interstate 95 and it's in front of a Days Inn hotel. There are also several other hotels right there. I am sure this is a big part of their business. I have never been overly big on the food at International House of Pancakes. I am not really a sweet breakfast type person, I prefer the savory dishes. IHOP has go Savory dishes, but I think that the mom-and-pop businesses just do it better. The service here was good and the food was not terrible, but it is definitely your typical food from a fast-casual chain restaurant. Ball in the wall, I will give it three stars. read more

There seems to be a few reasons why this seems to be the lowest rated IHOP in the area - possibly the worst restaurant in the area. First the horrible food. My order was swimming in... something. I sent it back. See if you can tell which was the first and second attempts. I'm told there is a difference. The waitress couldn't be less interested in what she brings to the table, or anything that interrupted her from her phone. and the manager was nowhere to be found or hiding. Either way finding someone to care about quality or service just wasn't going to happen. Finally- yes, it gets better- because of the poor food quality and apathy I declined to tip. That did inspire some initiative that I'd come to discover later when I reviewed my credit card statement. The waitress added her own tip. Posting the experience on social media we did get Corporate's attention. Apparently they were able to find the manager. She called and promised a full refund. That was over five months ago. The apathy of the kitchen and wait staff, the awe inspiring lack of integrity handling credit cards, all seems understandable when the management itself sees no problem with lack of follow through and lies. read more

This location is right off the highway and has plenty of parking. It's connected to a Days Inn. The servers were not wearing masks but it is not a requirement at the time of writing this review. The servers were friendly, attentive and kept the tables sanitized between seatings. The food was typical to an IHOP. We ordered omelets for the table. The omelets were done to perfection and not greasy. We asked for extra crispy hash browns and they were served as requested. One side we ordered the pancakes. The pancake were excellent. All the food was delicious. Our server Jamie was attentive and pleasant. She brought water right away, answered our questions on the menu and followed up to make sure everything was ok. read more

Since I'm not a local of Titusville, FL, and I am no health inspector there were one or a few violations that the average customer would not find appealing or comforting while eating. On my first visit here, I received dirty utensils which were promptly redplaced by the wait staff on hand. Walking in prior to this issue went quite smooth and inviting. A smile on the hostesses pretty face gave our party a feeling of warmth and an automatic gratification knowing we chose IHOP over the Waffle House. Having to provide quality service for our party of eight, our main waitress had everything under control. Drinks were kept above the halfway point and each occassional condiment or extra item asked for provided promptly and attentively. After our meal we were asked if coffee would be desired, and this was where another star got struck. Checked out of the hotel across the street and decided to eat here (instead of the hotel restaurant). It was purely an economic choice. Our server was attentive and friendly, the food was good and cooked right (it's hard to mess up pancakes, sausage and over easy eggs) and the coffee was hot. Now, I'm a fan of hot sauces - I mean pick me up, smack me and make me sweat hot sauces. That's not to say the brand of hot sauce at this IHOP would do that to me, but I was pleased to see a real hot sauce (albeit not as insanely hot as I like) as opposed to peppery sauces they call hot. We don't usually go to IHOP but being that it was just across from our hotel we had breakfast here this morning. There was only one server working but she was not at all upset about it. I think there were maybe two or three other tables while we were there. So, ever since going to Pennsylvania for NASCAR (years ago) I order my eggs 'scrambled soft.' No one ever gets it right but IHOP got it spot on. I was so happy. So many thanks to the cook there this morning. Hollie was our server and she was just great - so helpful, always checking on us and just a very nice human being. When we left my husband told me that the couple that had left before us (from Virginia) did not leave a tip. How in the hell do you NOT leave a tip. So freaking rude. I mean even a couple dollars jeez. If you go out and are waited on leave a freaking tip, unless of course it was horrible service, which I'm sure was not the case. Times are hard nowadays and folks working in an IHOP are not making a lot of money. If you can't afford to tip then buy your own damn breakfast food and make it yourself. I guarantee it will cost you more. Anyway our breakfast was great, the service was great and I highly recommend this IHOP as a breakfast stop. read more

This IHOP isn't much to look at from the outside - it looks old and tired, and it's attached to an even older and tired motel, but in this case, looks are deceiving. Yet another place I have frequented over the years and have enjoyed everytime I've been there. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, their menu has improved over time and the food has always been good to very good, if not exceptional. The service is always efficient, sometimes very friendly, and seldom have I come across a bad waiter or waitress. This particular night we held our band booster dinner party and learned they can certainly handle a big crowd - I was very pleased with the food, the speed of service, and they even threw in a few free hot chocolate's to boot! As is tradition in our family, we'll be back soon - Christmas Eve - for our yearly dinner out.
