I've lived down the street from this cafe for over a year and have never stopped by. I was nervous about the parking situation but was able to find a spot quite easily on a Sunday afternoon. The staff here was very welcoming and very friendly. We had to wait for around 10 minutes for our drinks to be made but we understood because it was quite busy. The iced latte was good, very true to flavor and no sugary additives. My boyfriend enjoyed his smoothie but didn't realize how small the small size was. They also give the option to add CBD to your drink, we opted out because we had a lot of errands to run and didn't want to be too relaxed. We will go give it a try next time. I was super excited to try this place. I've walked by it so many times and have always wanted to stop in. Finally made it in and unfortunately I'm really disappointed. I want to give this place 2 stars just because I was so disappointed. But since the service wasn't terrible, I didn't get food poisoning/die and it is my first visit, I will give them benefit of the doubt. But still, really pricey and just not that good. My biggest complaint is the price. $15 for breakfast burrito and chai is expensive (especially when you take quality into considerations) Vegetarian Burrito - $7.95. Should come with egg, cheese, salsa, potato, spinach and avocado. And yet they charged me an extra 95 cents for avocado on my receipt. That's a little ridiculous to charge extra for something that is supposed to be in the burrito in the first place. Quality.. its ok. But it tastes like pace salsa, sandwich deli slice cheddar cheese, had maybe 2 spinach leaves in it. Not that much avocado. Some sort of white sauce like thing in it that I wasn't sure what it was. Just really heavy, and slimy tasting. Not the healthy breakfast burrito I expected. Small Spiced Chai - $5.50. I asked the cashier if they made their chai with actual chai tea or if it was a sweetened syrup type chai. She said it was powder based and not sweet, so I ordered it. All I tasted was sugar and not chai. I didn't realize powder based, meant they just used grocery store brand instant powder and not real chai tea, but that definitely is what it was, instant powder. Usually places that use instant mix like that charge only $2-3 dollars. Not $4.50. My other complaints on the drink..... 1. Was barely warm. 2. Didn't taste like chai. Really just tasted like lukewarm sugar milk. 3. After I pulled off the foam, the cup was only a little over half full. A latte by definition is only 1/4in top foam. This was all foam. Much more like a cappuccino. 4. Extra $1 for soy. Again the add on costs. $1 extra for soy is higher than most other coffee places. I might try here again because reviews and photos look good. Maybe it was just an off day.. but for now, my general impression... very expensive for cheap ingredients. read more

Coffee here is good. Got the Tiger Spiced Chai and the Vietnamese iced coffee. Tiger Spiced Chai was very flavorful and had a nice blend of spices. Vietnamese coffee was good and very strong. The sauce that came with the burrito is very spicy so just use a little if your not a fan of spicy foods Heads up, their outlets don't work so make sure to bring your own battery pack or double check that your devices are fully charged when coming here to so some work. So incredibly busy on a weekend morning you know it has to be good. The trouble is that parking is pretty scarce. There is a tiny lot that only fits 4 cars with angle styled parking. There is some street parking but you have to pay pretty close attention to the signage because there's a lot of "no parking at any times" posted everywhere. Surprisingly there is a good amount of seating inside the restaurant and despite how busy it was, there always seemed to be spots for people. You order up at the counter, grab a number, and they'll bring your food out to you. I built my own crepe which allows for 3 toppings in the basic price. I chose nutella, bananas, and berries. The berries actually came with blueberries and strawberries which was awesome - it felt more like I got 4 toppings rather than 3. I liked the texture and thickness of the crepe. It was a true crepe and not too thin or thick without any crunchy parts to it. I also treated myself to a kale smoothie which had kale, spinach, mango, and pineapple in it. It tasted mostly of pineapple which is to say that it tasted pretty good. It was blended very smooth with no indication that there was ever anything healthy in there ;). read more

Came on a calm Monday for lunch. Good flow of customers came through. The downside to this spot is the very limited parking. The parklet outside is a little scary to eat at with trucks and vehicles zooming by. The chilaquiles were phenomenal and on point, the crunchy tortillas and chorizo with sauce was great. My family found this place after looking for thrift stores around the South Bay Area. I finally had the chance to eat here & everything exceeded my expectations. First off, the service is amazing. Wow, what a hidden gem. Came here with my boyfriend on a Sunday morning after our favorite place was closed. The location is a bit interesting and made me hesitant. It's located right before the entrance to the 87 South freeway off of Delmas, but don't let that stop you from coming in. The menu is large and can accommodate everyone's needs. They have breakfast burritos, breakfast bowls (basically a burrito bowl), toasts, crepes, paninis, salads and wraps. They have veggie & vegan options. I didn't try any vegan options but I did notice on the menu that they have cashew crema so that's a good sign. My boyfriend and I split the veggie burrito. It was delicious! We split the burrito because we weren't that hungry but if you were really hungry you could totally eat it by yourself. Coffee was pretty eh for my boyfriend. He didn't seem too impressed with the cappuccino. I, on the other hand, ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk. YUM! It was delicious. My boyfriend kept drinking my drink over his. We also had their green matcha latte and pistachio latte. I've only had pistachio latte once in LA and liked it so I'm glad iJava offers this as one of their signature drinks.
