Dry burger patties and bacon. Fries were very good though.
    Claudia L.

If I were rating this for staff and ambiance this place would be 5 stars. The staff is friendly and attentive and the restaurant itself spacious and very clean. Rating the food, on just the burger, is quite a bit lower. The burger patties and bacon were both VERY dry. The bacon was much more like jerky. and the patties were so tough they tasted reheated. The burgers at Five Guys are significantly better. The fries were really well done and crispy! The best part of the plate. Their other dishes look promising, so if I come back I would definitely order something else.

My daughter and I usually frequent the Delmas location. We decided to visit the Almaden location which is in the old pancake house building next to cinelux. Thankfully have my favourite strawberry Matcha and when we asked about the BLT, they said they didn't have it on the menu however, the Chef agreed to make it for us. If there's 10 stars available they would get all 10. I Java pairs the BLT sandwich with a side of tomato soup which is delicious. All of the other food looks good too, but I haven't had anything else cause I stick to what I like!

Patience is needed initially, especially during the weekend brunch rush. The food choices are very good, seems like the menu has been simplified from a few years back. I agree that a better check in system would go a long way to improve things, however we were treated in order and got a spot. Nice music selevtiins and the inside has been well maintained (or upgraded from my last visit). The Date/Banana Smoothie/ Shake is very tasty, although it is made with real dates and could contain unexpected fiber. I was able to throw together exactly what zi wanted from the side menu without the typical up charge. The food was great! Pictures below.

Another 5* Review 2/17/26: Came here yesterday for breakfast/brunch but ordered to go again just because we wanted to be home since it was just so cold and rainy. We ordered the Chicken Katsu Burrito and the Beef Brisket Burrito. While we already knew the Chicken Katsu Burrito would be amazing, I wasn't prepared at how phenomenal the Beef Brisket Burrito would be! Omg it was on another level of pure satisfaction. The salsa topped it off making the meal chefs kiss. I'd say from everything I had had here so far within the past few years, I'm going to say that the Beef Brisket Burrito takes the medal for me.

OMG. If I could come here for brunch everyday, I would be here every, single, day. iJava has quickly become a personal favorite when I'm in the area with my friends. The service here is incredible, staff is super attentive, friendly and quick. I found myself chatting with the staff about coffee and lattes more than chatting with my friends at some points. You can tell they really respect the craft and enjoy what they do. Plenty of tables available indoor and outdoor. Restaurant layout is beautiful, lots of large windows for natural sunlight and decor that matches the vibe of the place. For brunch, I had the Chorizo Omelette and the Matcha Tea Latte. The latte came out first, I ordered it hot and it was presently so beautifully. The perfect amount of earthy flavors and the oat milk was fantastic with it. The Chorizo Omelette had my mouth salivating. I thought it smelled good but it tasted even better. Chorizo was spicy but not overpowering. All the veggies and toppings blended in the omelette very well. It was a popular choice and I can see why customers love it! Please give iJava a chance next time you're looking for your next brunch destination. Staff never pushed us to finish up, always refilled our coffees and drinks without having to ask and really wanted you to enjoy your stay. Incredible service and great food!

The place is open all day now and so we had to try the dinner menu! I've been here a couple of times but only for the breakfast items, so I'm excited about what they have to offer! Roast Half Chicken(8/10): The chicken was huge and very delicious! I will say it was a little dry, but the sauce made up for it! The sauce was sour and salty because of the capers and I thought the flavors were nicely balanced. The vegetables were good, but nothing to rave over. The rice was good as well, but I felt like it needed a little salt. Service(10/10): Our server was very nice, friendly, and helpful! They made sure to check up on us and helped us whenever we needed it! Overall, a really good place to go to whether it's for breakfast or dinner!

Great place to grab a coffee, tea, shake, breakfast and brunch. The gal takes great care in details and quality of drinks, good and service. Food is delicious, I've had the aci bowl, breakfast sandwich and burrito. Love the cold brew with the sweet foam on top!! The decor is fun, calm and really represents that area of San Jose. Great for locals as it's within walking distance for me and something to travel to.

The staff was really nice and accommodating. Parking is plentiful at this location. Large patio seating and a bunch of food items to choose from. Meat lover omelet: fluffy eggs, nice amount of fillings, wish the hash browns were even more well done Swedish pancakes: very tasty, tender and light, went well as the sweet side to other salty entrees Definitely recommend this spot for breakfast and they accommodate larger parties as well

    Breakfast Chilaquiles
    Serena S.

I'm giving it 5 stars for the great value breakfast! I paid $20 for a hearty meal that I ended up eating in two sittings because it is so filling (including tip). I popped in for a quick hit and ordered their chorizo chilaquiles. The server suggested to have the egg cooked over easy, which was a good call because the runny yolk added a level of creaminess to the dish. The salsa sauce on the tortilla chips is spicy! Also served with black beans and garnished with queso and jalapeño slices. Service is prompt and pleasant. Place is clean and has outdoor seating too.

We came here multiple times. The service is good. The food is decent. They have a variety of coffee options. I especially like their courtyard, which is very suitable for large families and a fresh smell of California morning. This place is also very child-friendly. Usually there's not much waitline as this place has plenty of seats. You can eat either inside or outside.

I've been to this spot a few times and enjoyed my meals each time. This particular instance we were greeted and sat right away as the restaurant wasn't too busy. The restaurant doesn't get too noisy and there's plenty of space between tables. We both ordered the turkey and egg and cheese sandwich with avocado. I got the iced pistachio latte and my friend ordered a matcha latte. The sandwich is a great portion and adding the avocado was a great touch. I love the pistachio latte and this was the primary reason for my return. Overall, this is a great spot to come for breakfast and staff is attentive and kind.

Chicken Katsu Burrito with a side salad
    Abby C.

I came on New Year's Day with some friends to enjoy some good coffee and food. This was my first time visiting this location and I love the large space. There are outdoor and indoor seating areas. We were sat immediately and placed our orders within a reasonable time. This cafe has a great variety of food and has halal meats. I ordered a pistachio latte with oat milk and a chicken katsu burrito. The pistachio latte has a wonderful and rich taste. I couldn't stop drinking it. If you order one coffee item please try this. The chicken katsu burrito had a wonderful flavor. The burrito had kimchi fried rice, a poached egg, chicken katsu, spinach, katsu sauce, and chipotle mayo. I must say, it was a little messy and slightly greasy. It wasn't bad but if you are trying to remain clean while eating, be careful. The staff were all so nice and regularly ensured our water cups were full. I will for sure return to this location with my friends in the future.

Delicious breakfast and brunch spot! The best thing about this spot is that they have a variety of breakfast options I would call it an international dishes from American bfast to Mexican, Mediterranean and Swedish! The food tastes great too. The coffee and tea we had were good stuff. I highly recommend this place. Super friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Hey there Party People…read more I've been to the Table several times since my first review for the restaurant and just felt I needed to restate the obvious....this place is great. Hubby and I wanted to have brunch The Table is the best spot. You can get bottomless Mimosas for a very reasonable price. But first and foremost the food is what you go for. Not to mention you can take a very pleasant walk along Willow street and check out the shops after a great meal. The menu really lends to sharing plates so you can really get your foody on. We had the beignets to start. Made with ricotta and lemon curd for dipping. The beignets were very moist and a little dense because of the ricotta. The sugar coating was light and the crust was perfectly crunchy. What really made the beignets sing was the lemon curd dipping sauce just added a deep layering of flavor. Then there was the Heirloom Tomato salad with artichoke hearts. It was a tasty bite. The fry on the artichoke hearts was light bringing out the artichoke flavor. The treatment of the heirloom was clean simple and the whole dish together was just wonderful. Finally we had the Chicago Roast beef sandwich. It was huge and made me glad that we were splitting the dishes. The sandwich really reminded me of the east coast because of the peppers and carrots medley that was on the sandwich, which packed a fantastic little kick to wake up the pallet. Their Au Jus dipping sauce brought the hold combination together. Per my Hubby, who is a real Roast Beef lover, the whole sandwich was next level. If you're in Willow Glen and you don't eat here you have missed out on a wonderful experience. Be kind to one another

Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. I said decent rival but delicious in their own right if you don't compare them to authentic carne asada fries. They make the best tequila cream chicken pasta I have had. I really enjoy their tamarin margarita as well. The employees also seem happy to be here which makes for a great experience in terms of atmosphere and customer service. Definitely recommend this place

Great Views & Fun Atmosphere…read more I like this restaurant because you can look straight out at the historic water tower while you eat! It's a trendy, bright restaurant and sports bar with 19 big screens, so there's definitely a fun atmosphere. Restrooms: Decent, clean, and bright. Parking: Free, but limited within the complex. Service: Friendly and efficient, although a little slow. They also offer private event bookings on the second floor, with an open bar, bartender, and private waiter to accommodate the event. For our event, we had a pretty big spread: fruit platter, chicken wings, hummus platter with chickpea salad, marinated heirloom tomatoes, flatbreads and cucumber, pretzels with house honey mustard and beer cheese, tower fries, marinated steak, garlic noodles, mac and cheese buns, Asian chicken salad, garlic flank steak, and oven paprika chicken. The open bar was only $14 per person and included a selection of soda, juice, draft beer, wine, and sparkling wine. Pretty reasonable for a private event!

All the staff we met were really good. So, goes without saying I feel bad leaving this review, but I rely on Yelp for recommendations, so I have to. The food was genuinely bad. We ordered French onion soup which arrived lukewarm. The croutons inside were hard. Not crunchy, just stale tasting and hard. I took one bite and realized the cheese on top was actually cold and not melted either. I went back in for onions but got another rock hard cruton. Set it aside to be sent back. The Brussel sprouts were good. No complaints. Steak tartare was bathed in some sort of ketchup-tasting sauce that completely overpowered the other flavors. We ate most of it because we were hungry but I wouldn't recommend it. We ended up canceling our entrees and left. The manager was apologetic and again- I genuinely feel terrible leaving this review. That said, there are so many really good places nearby that it would be unfair for me to sweep this awful food experience under the rug.
