Went and grabbed some food here over the weekend. They have a great deal of marinara pasta with four balls (you can pick from any type they have) for only $1.99. Got two of those (one with plant balls and one with their new fish balls), as well as a cinnamon scone and fries. I get fries because they have many good dipping sauces, but honestly, the French fries are really not very good. I wish they had a better vestal for their dips. Other than that, service was fast and very nice.

IKEA is the ultimate "reliable" choice when you're mid-shop or just want a cheap, decent meal. It's a cafeteria-style setup, so don't expect table service, but the efficiency is hard to beat. The Swedish meatballs are legitimately good. They're consistent, the lingonberry jam adds the pertect amount of tartness, and the gravy ties it all together. It's a classic for a reason and probably the best value-for-money meal you'll find in the area. It can get pretty chaotic on weekends with kids and crowds, but the seating area is usually clean and spacious.

If you've ever visited any IKEA in the world, but haven't had their Famous Swedish Meatballs... Have you really ever been to IKEA?? Yeah!! I'm calling YOU out. Not getting IKEA's meatballs is the equivalent of... Going to Costco and not getting their $1.50 hotdog. And/Or Going to a carnival and not getting a funnel cake. Yes! These are not optional suggestions like, "hmm maybe I'll get the meatballs." No!! These are mandatory rules, customs; the actually by-laws of the land of Sweden ;) Cause if there's anything that the Swedes have mastered other than selling you a box of furniture with 3000 parts named something I definitely cannot pronounce.... It's their Swedish Meatballs! Yeah! 12 meatballs in a delicious brown gravy. Accompanied by a scoop of mashed potatoes, approximately 365 peas (not really, but later I'll tell you what is 365), the most delicious lingonberry jam, and the cutest little Flag of Sweden ever!!! Yes, you are in for a treat! But don't you worry, the IKEA restaurant is not just limited to its balls of meat! Potato cheddar cod, various salads, chicken fingers & fries, cold wraps and of course small plates for the kids. But my favorite part of coming to IKEA besides walking around this massive store looking at all of the cool things all while having a belly full of meatballs.... The vanilla soft serve ice cream cone for dessert!!! And unlike McDonald's, their machine is always up! And remember earlier where I mentioned 365?? Well 365 is IKEA's return policy! Yes a whole year to return something, That's crazy!! So the next time you roll through IKEA... You know what needs to be done! But for now... It's time for me to get to work, I've got a cabinet to build. 3,000 parts? 150 steps?? Oh boy, I'm gonna need some more meatballs for energy. By the way, these instructions don't make any sense. Anyone understand Swedish? Ahh, I'll just wing it ;)

I eat at the restaurant whenever I come to ikea. Is it tasty? No, but it is cheap. They have special deals from time to time and my most recent trip was $2 for their meatballs and pasta. It looked so sad but that $2 meal was enough to fill my stomach for a lunch. It tasted better than I expected too, with the meatballs and tomato sauce doing most of the heavy lifting in terms of taste. Overall, mediocre to below mediocre tasting food but for a ridiculously cheap price if youre hungry.

The Burbank IKEA restaurant is where hopes and dreams, and while it's good, go to die - but at least I could die with a plate of meatballs. After navigating a line system so confusing it felt like a theme park ride, designed by Kafka, I finally reached the promised land: the cash register. The Swedish meatballs arrived in their beige, glory, lounging in a gravy pool that could double as shiny wall paint, with mashed potatoes that whispered, "I was once powder in a bag." The lingonberry jam added its signature Scandinavian plot twist, while the salmon side dish politely reminded me that IKEA does, in fact, sell furniture - because it tasted ever so slightly bland. Speaking of furniture the cafeteria seating is what I imagine corporate IKEA furniture showroom would look like. It's said "yes, this is what people want while they eat their meat spheres in a bed of brown rose gravy." Chairs built for endurance, tables, built, lightweight, and flimsy - the aesthetic is very "mandatory training sessions with free lunches. And yet I can't stay mad. The whole thing kind of works. The chaos, the lines, the furniture that looks like a corporate break room. It's all part of the IKEA charm. I left full with energy to finish my full day lost around the showroom rooms.

Quick, simple. Enjoyed the Swedish meatballs and smoked slice salmon. I like sitting by the large windows enjoying the view.

Enjoyed our lunch at IKEA Restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. The eatery was busy and lots of people dining. Plenty of tables and chair available for seating. We met up with some friends to have lunch and shop with. I ordered the Meatballs with Mashed Potatoe, Macaroni and Cheese, 2 Garlic Bread, 2 fruit drinks and a latte. The servings of the Meatballs with Mashed Potatoes were plentiful as well as the servings for the Macaroni and Cheese. My child and I didn't finish our lunch. IKEA Restaurant kept the quality of their meatballs. The Garlic Bread was appropriately tasteful. The toasts were not burnt. The latte was just right. You can taste the espresso and temperature was just right. I like how everything is accessible to the diner including utensils, napkins and additional condiments. Pricing is also great along with the quality.

    Small Breakfast

Had my car at a nearby service shop this morning and decided to stop by IKEA Restaurant for breakfast. I was one of the first people there after opening. Honestly, it was a pretty nice experience. Empty parking lot, friendly employees, no line, clean restroom -- and you can charge your EV while you're there, which is super convenient. The biggest surprise was the breakfast price. I ordered the small breakfast plate: scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, and 2 strips of bacon. Nothing fancy, but solid breakfast food and exactly what you need in the morning. Price? $2.49. And coffee was free with IKEA Family. I genuinely felt like I went back in time because I haven't seen prices like this in years. For the price, it's absolutely worth it. Glad I randomly discovered this and definitely wanted to share it here for anyone nearby looking for a cheap breakfast and coffee.

    It's VEGAN!!! Strawberry soft ice.

So after decades of not even looking at the restaurant because they never had vegan options... a few months ago the overhead lighted menu caught my eye. What??!! A plant Dog and a veggie Dog. I googled immediately, yes both are vegan. Woohoo. So I tried the veggie Dog. Serving team very nice and polite. Order number called before I even sat down.

I didn't know until recently that IKEA sold breakfast! I needed to go check it out. This location specifically only serves breakfast until 11am. It's the same way you grab lunch and they have cake slices and blueberry & cinnamon scones available to have on the side. I got their Medium breakfast with Swedish pancakes. I will say the potatoes were my favorite part of this breakfast, they were yummy and seasoned well! Everything else was meh. The scone was good. Cute environment and who doesn't love IKEA in general? If you happen to be here for breakfast time I don't see why not!

After walking however many miles through the Ikea store in Burbank, we were starving. And tired. And our feet hurt. We went to the cafeteria and had some classics. I think that is all that they serve here.... The Smoked Salmon Salad was full of flavor and the salmon was so tender. The salad is served with fresh leafy greens and a scoop of potato salad. The smoked salmon had a great flavor. I want some bagels with lox now.... The potato salad was good, maybe a bit plain. The dressing on the side of the plate is an odd choice. We also got the Swedish Meatballs with peas, mashed potatoes, and lingonberries. The mashed potatoes are perfect for picking up the peas! Nothing was overcooked, the peas were tender, the mashed potatoes were very mashed, no texture, just potato-ey goodness.  This came with some lingonberries. It was nice to cut the other flavors with it. We also got some veggie patties and plantains as side dishes. The veggie patties were good, maybe a bit small, but good flavor. And the Plantains were cooked just right. A little resistance to them, but soft and full of flavor. Had to get a scone and strawberry cake as well. I forgot to take pictures of the cake, but for a few bucks, this is a great deal. Both were a nice way to finish our meal Not a huge menu, but pretty much anyone can find something that they would want to eat from here. It's a cafeteria, it moves a lot of folks through in a polite manner. Serving staff is friendly if you have any questions, but again, it is a cafeteria, so there is not a lot of server/customer interaction. Checking out and paying is quick and simple, and there is a lot of seating. The seating area is clean and comfortable for what it is. It seems to be very clean, nothing in disrepair.

The restaurant is pleasant and very spacious. It's a cafeteria style service. You line up with your tray and order the food you want of the menus. When you receive your food, you head to the car register and pay. You pour your own drink at the drink station and get your sauces you need. The food selections I've tried are as below: Swedish meatballs - comes with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas and lingonberry jam. I've been coming and enjoying this dish for over 20 years. Plant balls - served same as the swedish meatballs, except the meat balls are replaced with a plant based alternate. I actually enjoy these more than the original meatballs. Veggie balls - these are true vegetarian balls with side of vegetables. I didn't like it to much... Garlic lemon cod - served with mashed potatoes, gravy and peas. This is my usual go to selection when I eat here. Salmon fillet - served with cauliflower rice and red pepper relish along with side veggies. This is a provider selection for a very thin slab of fish. It's okay, but I prefer the cod any day. Chicken tenders with French fries - a bit dry but not greasy at all. Nice and crunchy too. Good size chicken strips x3. Fries are good too. Pulled pork sandwich - I didn't like the bun at all. The pork was shredded to the point where Mac and cheese - skip it unless you're super craving it. If give it 2 stars. I enjoy coming on Tuesdays for their 50% off deals with the IKEA Family membership.

I was excited to try Republik Coffee, but unfortunately the experience missed the mark…read more I ordered an iced vanilla matcha, a salted cold brew cloud, and banana bread. The first issue came when my matcha was made hot instead of iced and had to be remade. Even after the remake, it tasted like straight matcha powder and wasn't well mixed. The banana bread was served cold and wasn't warmed up, which was disappointing. What stood out most, though, was the cleanliness. As I walked into the shop around 7:30 a.m., the outdoor trash area was already overflowing. Inside, there was a trash can right next to the pickup counter that smelled bad and had visible stains all over it. For being so early in the morning, I was surprised that the trash hadn't been emptied or the area cleaned before opening. The salted cold brew cloud was decent, but overall the drinks, food, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Hoping this was just an off morning, but based on this visit, I wouldn't rush back.

I had passed by this restaurant before but had never been curious enough to actually stop in. This time their drink menu advertised outside caught my attention so I figured "hey, why not?" From the moment I walked in i was trying to figure out whether I liked the atmosphere or not. The music was excellent, but the décor took me a second to process. It felt like an 80s lounge crashed into a neon Día de los Muertos inspired art gallery. It's most definitely not a quiet, cozy restaurant. It has more of a loud, colorful, party style personality. I was seated promptly by a kind hostess but I wasn't attended to by a waiter for nearly 10 minutes. Once my waiter did come by he was kind, quick, and professional. Now, I'm going to be honest.. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican restaurant food, so I didn't have the highest expectations. I ordered the potato taquitos, a Jarrito Loco made with watermelon purée, vodka instead of tequila, and chamoy on the rim, plus chiles toreados and one carne asada taco. Laugh all you want, but I was half expecting the food to come out looking like a cafeteria lady had splattered it onto a plate... I was genuinely impressed by the presentation instead. The potato "taquitos" were bigger than I expected so don't let the "itos" fool you. They were crispy, flavorful, filling, and honestly so delicious. Those get a 5/5 from me. My drink was also incredible. It was refreshing, especially with how hot the day was, and had just the right amount of alcohol. The presentation was so cute I almost felt bad ruining it. Easily one of the best drinks I've had in the Burbank area -- 5/5. The carne asada taco wasn't as impressive as the potato taquitos, so I'd give that a 3/5. The chile toreado was definitely spicy, it just needed to be salted a little more but otherwise no complaints! I need to remind myself not to be too quick to judge because I was genuinely surprised by this place. The décor wasn't fully my personal style, but the food and drinks more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back again, especially for the potato taquitos and drinks.

My wife ordered a Gummy Bear Shot that was tart and sweet and very enjoyable. On the food side, the menu is filled with the greatest hits of casual, sports bar foods, but all kicked up several notches and more interesting than the usual. My wife ordered the Truffle Burger, replete with onions and mushrooms and cheese. The trappings were all very tasty, and the burger itself was packed with flavor, and came cooked to a very proper medium rare. The side of lemon-pepper fries were hand cut and crispy, though the citrusy tang wasn't my thing. A tad less successful was my Pastrami Sandwich. The meat, listed as house-made, had good flavor but was tough. The kale slaw with it also had good flavor, and the slight bitterness was a nice foil for the rich pastrami. Onion rings were excellent, and (regardless of the lemon-pepper) the better bet as a side. All in all, this is a great, comfy place with a good menu and a really welcoming staff. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. The food and cafe de olla are worth it.

Now I know why this place always has a long wait. Hot tip: You can join the waitlist on Yelp before…read moreyou get there! I came with a friend who is a regular and she gave me a lot of good recommendations of what to order. The menu is quite large, filled with tons of delicious Mexican breakfast options! I'm a big machaca fan, so that's what I ordered. As an appetizer, we got the molletitos with chorizo and OMG! It was absolutely delicious. I got to taste my friend's huevos divorciados and the sauce was so delicious. My machaca was different than what I have had at other restaurants, a little on the dry side, but I enjoyed it. Loved the rice and beans it came with! Another highlight was the Cafe de Olla itself! I think I downed like 4 cups of it, it was so delicious. Service here was fantastic. Highly recommend!
