Placed a large order through DoorDash. The Dasher had to wait at the restaurant for at least 20 minutes for the order to be completed (making the delivery time longer than expected), then come to find a roll is missing when he delivers it to me. Dasher was very apologetic, but the restaurant refused to make another roll, insisting the full order was completed. We ordered $80 worth of sushi, all take out boxes full of sushi, with obviously only one roll of each kind we ordered when we ordered two of one of the big rolls. Sushi was okay, tuna didn't taste fresh. Wouldn't recommended take out or delivery for sure, unless you check the order before you leave. read more

For the variety of foods on the menu the sushi is very good. We had the hamahama roll which was really good and I highly recommend. We also got the sashimi combo which was very fresh, but I regret not getting more rolls as the hamahama was so tasty. read more

We came on a Wednesday evening and ordered ~6:20p IMMEDIATELY after a neighboring party ordered but received our food ~20 minutes after them at around 6:55p. Another party ordered at 6:53p received their food 5 minutes after ordering. Not sure what happened but it was likely due to a to-go order that was inserted right before ours. The food itself (we ordered a sashimi bowl and a caterpillar roll) was decent but nothing to write home about -- total price $31.82 after tax. In summary: ok food that's a bit overpriced (as most food in Queen Anne is) with very uneven service. read more

For the flavor and freshness, this is one of my favorite places to eat. It's a frequent for dinner. A great variety of items on the menu, and almost something for everyone. I"ve walked past this place many times at lunch and it seems pretty busy, so we tried it tonight for dinner. Won't be going back! We had tempura that was tasteless and the portion was small, the agadashi tofu was flavorless with not enough broth, and lukewarm at that. Worst of all was the beef pho-first of all, it took way too long to come out of the kitchen, and it too was substandard and expensive at that. This is a tiny neighborhood pan Asian restaurant that offers a fantastic lunch menu. If you like sushi, try the Chirasi Bowl with it's variety of sushi and sashimi. I prefer the Shanghai Noodles which is a very authentic Chinese dish. The lunch comes with miso soup! read more

My go-to sushi place! I'm always guaranteed a solid, yummy dish with fresh ingredients and great flavors. I prefer this place to others based almost entirely on their signature rolls. They are much more creative than rolls I've found elsewhere and have amazing flavor combinations that you sometimes think wouldn't go together but then you taste it and it's awesome! The sashimi and standard rolls are decent, but it's really those signature rolls that make Ikiiki stand out (plus they're huge!) I do have to give a note about the amazing service. The waiters/waitresses are so nice! There's even one in particular who always remembers my partner and I and greets us warmly. We'll try other places here and there, but not as many stand out like Ikiiki (at this price point). Highly recommend for a fun night with friends with yummy sushi. read more

A great place for lunch on a sunny day! The service is good on most days. The sashimi is to die for! Try the escolar, it's like butter! They have great lunch specials and have a well landscaped outdoor patio. The seaweed salad has a perfect crunch to it and the dressing has a perfect flavor. Came here for dinner recently. Food okay. The young man who was our server downgraded this rating. When he brought our food, he just gave to us and walked away. No "enjoy your dinner or is there anything else you need". When my bill came, they was no receipt for me so I asked another server who was at the next table if I could get a receipt. Same young man came to give me receipt, and said nothing. I work in customer service and I provide excellent customer service to my clients. I expect the same. Excellent delivery ordering experience. The sushi arrived surprisingly fast. We got 4 rolls and they were all well made and tasty. The California roll and the veggie roll were especially good. I also liked that the pieces were not cut too large. I hate getting a ginormous mouthful of sushi that I can barely chew. The Mongolian Beef was delicious per my hubby & my kids absolutely loved the Pho! The place is clean & modern & the employees were nice & smiling so that's s good sign. Their rolls were really good and the atmosphere inside was totally great for the price. We tried their Uni (the only Uni we've ever had) and it wasn't that good, but I think that might be just because it isn't our thing. Nothing special and quite overpriced for the amount of food we received. We did not order sushi -- our mistake, as we didn't read reviews first -- and maybe the sushi is great. You know what isn't? Paying $13 for dark meat teriyaki with a heap of white rice and a few completely unseasoned broccoli florets. Any other place in Seattle wouldn't have the gall to charge more than $8 for this meal. Also, we ordered takeout and there was a mistake with our order. The server neither apologized nor offered to correct the problem; instead she insisted that wasn't what we ordered. Ummm... okay. She was in such a rush, which made no sense as the place was amply staffed and only 5 or 6 tables were seated. No thanks. Won't be overpaying for mediocre food at Ikiiki again. read more

Our food was decent, but not what we expected for the cost. It is Queen Anne, so you expect to pay a little above average, but we expect the food to be elevated accordingly. We ordered chicken teriyaki and house fried rice. The fried rice was tasty and a large portion but the teriyaki was not very flavorful and not something I would get again. I would like to comment that the meat was all cooked perfectly, but that was overshadowed by bland taste. I cant speak for their sushi or other dishes as I have not tried them. read more

Dined here for the first time this evening. Not bad at all! The place was pretty empty at 8 pm on a Friday night which is totally fine by me. I actually prefer it because the service is faster and you don't have to listen to loud groups. Anyways, my husband ordered the gyoza as a starter which turned out to be a HUGE plate. It was delicious. Then we ordered the sushi: I got the ikiiki and caterpillar rolls. My husband got the shrimp tempura and the cherry blossom roll. While his plate was more on the mediocre side, my sushi was awesome. The serving size was generous, the rice was cooked to perfection and the ingredients were all flavorful. The service was swift too (we were the only table for the majority of our time there). My only concern about this place is that the food safety rating is still "okay" and that my husband's plate was a bit on the mediocre side. I will go back but I'd like to see that safety rating go up please! read more

Ikiiki or should I say ICKY ICKY. Overall, the restaurant was disgusting. The nori (seaweed) was old and EXTREMELY chewy. I tried the fish, which led to me throwing up in the bathroom. Literally. I found a large mucus-like chunk in my tea, and don't even get me started on the yaki soba. It was terrible, bland, and I was charged 5 dollars for adding on EXTRA soggy broccoli (which I had not ordered in the first place. The server said "Sorry," and walked away. I was still charged the extra five.) I also asked (because the yaki soba was so plain) for some Sri racha or "Spicy Red Sauce" in which the server didn't bring it until I was almost finished. Finally, the ORIGINAL server only talked to me twice. 1) was when she sat us down, and 2) was when I had been flagging her over for the past five minutes for the check. And she only had been working two tables! The excuse is not busyness, it is laziness. If I could rate this place negative -10, I WOULD. I do not recommend coming here even if it was the only food left on planet earth, unless you enjoy old and chewy seaweed, soggy and plain yaki soba, fish that is stomach-upsetting, and overall terrible service. I have been eating sushi for 15-20 years and this is the worst by far. 1/5 stars. read more

Fantastic sushi! Everything tasted fresh and was artfully presented. We ordered the dragon roll, caterpillar roll and the rainbow roll and it was memorably delicious. Even the miso soup had excellent flavor and was piping hot. The server was sweet and super attentive. I'll definitely be coming back to visit next time I'm in Queen Anne. read more
