I ordered the "Sushi for Two" and the "Sushi Moriwase". The Sushi for Two had 18 pieces, a lot of it was white fish. The roll was topped with mango and had tuna/salmon inside. The nigiri was standard. The roll was better than expected. It was quite pricey at $72. The Sushi Moriwase was ridiculously pricey at $62. It had 8 "chef's premium pieces" and toro roll. The fish included toro, squid and scallop. So, they definitely had a higher tier of fish. One of the nigiri tasted the same as the "Sushi for Two." I just couldn't justify the price of this one. Especially since Sushi Goal (very close by) has a Sushi omakase premium for $50 (10 pieces with a roll). I don't think I will come back, especially since Sushi Goal Omakase has similar or better fish for less $ and more pieces. read more

Popped in with a friend for lunch and they had a decent lunch deal with their bento box. I got the shrimp and vegetable tempura. It came with 6 pieces of California rolls, shumai, rice, the tempura, and either miso soup or salad. I opted for the salad to get my greens in. The layout and decor is cozy. I actually really really love the sushi here and order delivery often, the quality is quite superior for takeout sushi. HOWEVER, I do have to dock a star because every time I order delivery from here, it's the same guy who YELLS and SCREAMS at me for missing his call (I called him a minute after the missed call, profusely apologizing, as he continued to berate me for not being downstairs). I have ordered from Ikyu for delivery so many times, as well as dining in store and the quality is the same for both in person and delivery! My go-to is the tri-color sushi which is served with a miso soup or side salad. It's so fresh and they always make sure to separate the soup from the sushi so the fish stays cold! read more

I have ordered the 3 roll sushi lunch deal multiple times. The quality of the sushi is great and it is always fresh. It also comes with soup or salad. For $18 it is on the more expensive side of sushi lunch deals but the sushi is better quality than some of the other lunch options out there. The soup and salad are fine but nothing special. I have never eaten in the restaurant but every time I enter it seems relatively empty. The restaurant is clean and you can watch the chefs make the sushi. We stopped by on the second opening day and got 20% off our meal plus a complimentary dessert. When walking into this restaurant, it has a beautiful decor, very bright and nicely designed. There is also a sushi bar to sit in front of the restaurant. We ordered the sushi for 2 which came with both soup and salad. The sushi pieces, while they were fresh and good quality, I would've liked to see more better variety. They did mention that the Moriwase option would've been the "better selection fish". Came on a Friday at 8pm without reservation, and the whole place was packed with multiple parties in line. Was told our party of 2 will need to wait for ~30min. They unfortunately have too many tables for 4 that were only seating 2 people (I counted at least 4) while there is a party of 4 sitting at the sushi counter, so overall not optimized for the crowd and seating. They don't combine parties into a table, so kudos to them. But would highly recommend that they get more tables for 2 that can be combined into tables for 4/6/etc. All their tables for 2 were full. The exterior and interior of the restaurant look very elegant. Ambience was nice. Lots of couples/parties of two. Food was delicious! My partner greatly enjoyed the sushi. Am not a big sushi eater, so I mainly ate the yaki udon and the fried rice, both are super delicious with lots of meat/veggies. The fried rice contains chicken, beef, and shrimp, but you can ask them to remove any of those ingredients. The service started out pretty fast but got a bit slower over the course of our meal. But the staff were friendly. I decided to go with the sautéed broccoli in garlic sauce with chicken.
