When I called the restaurant, the owner himself and answered and offered to have his staff run out and give it to me while I passed by. Went for first Friday, and the atmosphere was graet! My wife and I were walking around just looking for anywhere to eat,glad we chose here. The wait was not to bad, we stayed close so we would know when the table was ready. Because it was frist Friday the wait was about 15 mins. The staff was very nice. I had a sausage pizza and my wife had the pepperoni we kinda shared...I loved the crust ,in mu onion yhe best part! I also order a hibiscus tea and no suger need, was super good. The owner came over to see how the food was,which is nice. I was roaming the neighborhood looking for something to eat and drink. It was a June evening and 118 in the shade. Most of these restaurants look like they used to be a house, so it's like walking into someone's yard... kinda weird. The front yard has tables, tea lights and misters. I wasn't sure if I just sit down or what to do as there was a ball of waiters congregating on the porch kinda blocking the entrance. I asked if I sit anywhere and one of the guys said "yeah, just anywhere." I didn't want to shove my way past inside. I didn't even know you could sit inside at that moment so I just found a table. As soon as I sat, I was brought a cold, glass bottle of water and a cup. I scanned the QR code for a menu. This is a pizza place and I judge pizza places on their cheese pizza. Anyone can put BBQ chicken on a pizza and call it great, but how is the pizza itself. Pizza at its core is crust, red sauce and cheese. This is you in just your undies: show me what you got. They had a decent choice of beer and cocktails, but I just went with a Bulleit on the rocks. Its a pleasant atmosphere. I just watched people go up and down the sidewalk with a cool, sweaty glass of bourbon as the sun went down. My pizza was decent. The three components were fresh. Dough and sauce is homemade and the mozzarella didn't taste commercially made. It was made well. The crust was crisp. The cheese was melty and the sauce had a nice acidity and chunks of fresh tomatoes and not too sweet. But is was just ok. There is potential for really good pizza, but there needs to be more seasoning. I think the dough needs a little more flavor with either salt or yeast and a chewier texture. My waiter was super excellent, attentive and friendly and twisted my arm to get a cannoli. She admitted the shell wasn't homemade but the rest was. It was decent. The cream was fresh and not too sweet. I think there was a slight grainy texture but it didn't take away from the enjoyment. The chocolate sauce was ok. I couldn't tell if it was store bought or just plain. The cinnamon from the shell helped to combine the flavors. I had my son try it and he really liked it. I just think it could use something else for texture like maybe a chocolate chip or chocolate shavings in the cream. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying a different pizza. read more

Oh my... my mouth is watering just thinking about this!! The pizza was incredible we had The Dona and it was phenomenal. We took our little with us and we sat outside. It was quite warm so they immediately brought water and then turned a huge fan they had our way to keep us cool under the shaded tree we found on their patio. The service was top notch the kid who helped us was on top of it! If you haven't been this is a must and for $25 foe 3 people which included a pizza, an ice tea (free refills) and a cannoli (which was phenomenal) you cannot go wrong!! read more
