Ilanet coffee is a great place to get some nice comfort food. I usually go here for the macaroni soups. It's very comforting on a cold day. Another dish I like is the stewed sardines in tomato sauce. It comes with some crispy fresh banh mi bread for dipping. The service has been hit or miss. Usually the service is fast but they can be a little slow sometimes. Also, they allow smoking at the outside seating and a LOT of people do, so the smoke usually sneaks into the restaurant which dulls some of the dining experience. The free herbal tea that the offer is great and a very good alternative to plain water. read more

There are 2 Ilanet restaurants in the same plaza, we chose to go with Ilanet 2. Not sure what the difference is as it was my first time dining here. Service was good, and the waiters were really friendly. There was so many items on their menu I wanted to order but will save for another time. There are also plentiful drinks on their drink menu as well. What was ordered: Banh Canh: 3/5 I was craving soup, but I wish I would have picked another soup off their menu. It was really bland but fish sauce is given on the side along with chili to adjust to your liking. Overall it was a mediocre bowl of soup. Bo Bia: 4/5 I love the addition of the Chinese sweet sausage wrapped in this spring roll. The peanut dipping sauce complemented the roll perfectly. Kind of pricey for only 3 small rolls though. Canh Bun: 4/5 My mom ordered this and personally the flavors in this was so much better and the portions given was a good amount. I think this would be something to order next. Drink of Choice: Suong Sao Banh Lot: 5/5 This drink brings me back to my childhood. There's grass jelly, pandan jelly and coconut milk. All my favorite. Come here pretty often for sup nui and egg rolls. The coffee and tea is great as well. But I never stray away from those main items. Service is pretty attentive for being how busy it gets here. Today my friend invited our family here for lunch and they suggested this place so we thought to try it again. I was impressed by their fast and friendly services. We order food for party of 9 and dishes came out very fast. Even the restaurant is pack but service poeple adequate all our requests. Most our dishes are delicious and portion are plenty. I like bò né here, it tastes better than many other restaurants in Bolsa area. Xíu mại is not the best but my kids like it. My wife loves canh bún and bơ - sâu riêng. It's one of my top choices for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. They are famous with "Nui Xào Bò". But my favorite food here is "Banh My Xiu Mai + Fried egg". I also ordered Bột Chiên and it was good too! If you go here, I would suggest going to the new one because it's a non-smoking area. It's nice but the main thing people come for is the great food. I'm actually addicted to the iLanet Soup Nui Tom Suon (Macaroni Soup w/ Pork Ribs & Shrimp). I've had this soup plenty of times now and it actually cures my soul. The flavor is immaculate and that pork rib, shrimp, carrots, and green onions is just chef's kiss. Add some of that fresh chopped chilies, lime, and fish sauce into that bowl and your meal is complete. Whenever I'm having a bad day or just want a comforting meal, I come and get this. read more

My friends recommended this place for their bot chien after having terrible ones at dim sum. I've tried them at other restaurants and also make my own bot chien at home sometimes so don't disregard my tastebuds yet! One star is for the customer service. We made a large carryout order over the phone and since it was a few hundered dollars the girl said she needs to charge the credit card at the time. I gave her my credit card info and she says she isnt able to charge it so I had my friend use her card instead which the worker was able to charge. A couple weeks later I check my banking app and see that my card was in fact charged. I submitted a dispute with my bank and I will be going in person to ilanet to show them proof. My advice, dont pay with your card over the phone. read more

She didn't even response our request and just threw the to-go box on the table and went away. 18% tips was mandatory added on the bill, so I don't know why she is so upset!. I like this place for a sit-down Vietnamese brunch. They have big portions and affordable prices. I usually get the Bo ne or the bot chien myself. This last time we went my boyfriend was super hungry so we also got the egg roll appetizer. I was pleasantly surprised by how large and crispy they were and the subtle taro flavor. It gives off the vibe that you're kind of like in Vietnam. There are elderly people sitting outside eating, drinking, and smoking. Chatting about their days while sipping their coffee. Young ones sitting and eating, some running around. It feels kind of relaxing and comforting actually. A nice atmosphere. As for the food, everything was yummy and delcious. The meat was cooked perfectly, the bread was warm, soft on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. It went great with our meat and eggs. The soup that we ordered was very flavorful and rich. And the rice cakes were great! If you want a Vietnamese cuisine experience, then I would highly recommend this place. It gives out a nice home comforting meal and atmosphere. read more

A hidden gem in the heart of Westminster! My go to spot for Nui Xao Bo (stir fry beef with macaroni), Bot Chien, and others! Tonight I felt like eating something soupy since it has been cold lately. I ordered the spare rib soup with macaroni and it did not disappoint! The bowl was huge and it def hit the spot! So perfect for a cold day! Me and my friend also ordered the bo bia (spring rolls not pictured) and an order of the bot chien to share. The dishes are big enough to share between two people which I recommend.
