ELITE. We wanted some breakfast and this was one of the earlier places opened. It blew our socks away. Ordered: - Steak & Eggs / Bo Ne (5+/5): Amazing. The bread was toasted to perfection and was so flakey that it absorbed the sauce of the platter so incredibly well. Steak was flavorful and tender and balanced with all the veggies. This was a dish straight from Nam - Nuoc Mia (4.5/5). Great! I haven't had this drink in years so don't have a good baseline but it was tasty nonetheless - Hu Tieu (4/5). My boyfriend has been on the lookout for the best place to get Bo Ne so we came across this place! Lots of menu selections and interestingly includes some Western foods including macaroni or Thai food like Pad Thai. I got the Bo Luc Lac with a Nuoc Mia Rau Ma. I always get these at Vietnamese restaurants and sometimes they don't come out in one portion where it's not the typical shareable dish. It came with rice, veggies, and a small bowl of soup! Such a perfect combination and definitely had me full at the end of the meal. The meat was tender and not chewy at all. As for the drink, it was really refreshing and delicious if you're both a sugarcane and pennywort fan. I tried a bit of my boyfriend's Bo Ne and felt like he could find better. It wasn't too bad if you wanted a quick bite for lunch. As for his Soda Chanh, it had more lemon-y taste to it than a good balance with the soda to it. The workers are attentive and act quick! Meat was tender, eggs were cooked at the consistency that I liked, and the onions were sautéed well. The only thing that threw me off was that it was a bit too sweet for my taste. Besides that, I liked the dish and I give extra points for the baguette and the mini salad/veggie side that came with it. This is probably one of the best beef steaks I've had outside of Vietnam. Ive been dreaming of having this meal again. We also ordered the fried rice, cake and egg. I love the Asian macaroni style. When i see this location has the dish I was little hesitant because 8 out of 10 times i order from different places, they would give me the American macaroni instead. Great service and the food came out perfectly cooked today. We ordered the beefsteak and eggs and chicken Pho with drumstick. The steak was juicy and tender medium cooked with sizzling onions. The Bread is always fresh and hot. The free range chicken noodle soup was on point today not too salty or full of MSG like similar dishes at other restaurants. Their hot milk coffee is quite good too and always a local favorite place to just chill in the morning. The competition sells beef noodle soup next door but very few customers there. Saigon View has five main dishes that are family favorites. You can ask the waitress she is very nice just like the owner. I have not tried all the dishes here but we will definitely return for round two and three and four next time. My parents and I visited recently; and finally they are open! My dad and I got the bun rieu, my mom got canh bun. Which are pretty much the same thing. The soup was good in flavor, but it didn't taste like bun rieu to us. It was good, but yeah something was missing. The food and drinks were pretty pricy. But, we were just excited to support a local business during this time, and not cook at home for once. Service was good, pretty fast for being a few tables. This had to be the worst pad thai I have ever ate. I requested chili paste but they do not have it. The food comes out so late. Service was okay at best. Problems with the pad thai. The shrimp is stone cold and still have their whole shell on that I have to forcibly deshell. There is no peanuts on my pad thai at all. The price is not even worth it. It felt kinda meh to me. WOW WOW WOW WWOW!! the Bo Ne here is so delicious. we got an order of Bo Ne and Banh Khot. here are my review for the dishes: Bo Ne was great, steak medium to medium rare is perfect. i love the pate they put on and i wished i had more. steak was perfectly seasoned and eggs were sunny side up (op la) perfectly cooked. one critique i have is that i wished they gave us more bread that comes with it. very small piece and the banh mi baguette was so skinny and firm... i wish they gave us unlimited baguette or something, come on... overall id rate the dish a (8/10) Banh Khot was mediocre. they only have 8 mini sized pieces. i liked the shrimp one the most. the ground pork was not my favorite. maybe incorporate both? or give more banh khot? very small portion, maybe it is an appetizer but not a meal. i wish there was more variety to choose from beside shrimp and ground pork. they shoud add some toppings like ground shrimp or green onion oil (mo hanh). it was kind of lackluster for me. id rate this dish a (6/10) overall, i love saigon view, if they give me a better experience next time i will change my yelp review to a 5 star! read more

I'm impressed by the large menu but after having the banh canh today, I'm not so sure if their other dishes will be worthy or a disappointment. The broth of the banh canh is typically thick but it was. Made very runny. According to the server, they serve it two ways, thick or runny. We were not told we had an option (not sure if this was their excuse) but I've not had this dish with the broth runny anywhere in the Bolsa area. To those who are familiar with Bun Rieu, this was what the broth tasted like. Also, there was very little noodles. To their credit, the flavors are there but just wished the broth was thicker. Since this restaurant is close to my house, I've had a chance to try many dishes here. Parking: plenty as it shares the lot with many other businesses here. It can get crowded sometimes though if there is a wedding at a banquet in the same area. Service: pretty good, swift, efficient. All of them wore face masks but one of them occasionally took his mask off, which is a bit concerning to me, considering we didn't wear mask while dining in. Place: tables, chairs and restroom are clean, but due to the doors opening all the time, flies and bees find their way inside and circle around the food & nearby booths. My most favorites are: -Nui Xao Bo Luc Lac (shaken beef stirfry with pasta) -Bo Ne (Sizzling beef on a hot iron plate, served with salad, baguette, butter, egg and liver paste). All their beef dishes were done so well, the meat was very tender and juicy, medium rare inside. -Bun rieu cua (noodle soup with crab, tofu) -Bun xao bo va cha gio (stirfry beef on a rice noodle bed, served with salad and 1 egg roll. The egg roll skin is not a regular skin that you see at other restaurants, it's more like a spring roll paper, but fried version. I'm not a fan of it since it's not as crunchy as I'd like my egg roll to be. *Not recommended food/ drink* -Nuoc Mia (sugar cane juice), Nuoc mia juice tastes kind of old and bland to me. -Bo dam sau rieng (avocado and durian). The Bo Dam Sau Rieng barely has any durian flavor to it ($6 is not cheap for a drink to have a tiny bit of durian). -Bot chien (fried rice cake): it looks kind of deep fried and dried, not like how it's cooked in Vietnam.
