This is the worst place ever. I came to get a mani and pedi. The lady who was doing my feet was alright but did left some nails uneven and I kept telling her. It got to the point where I had to take her tools and even it out myself. And the guy was who was doing my pedi was the ducking worst. I had nails on and I asked him to take them off while he was in the middle of taking them off he got up and started fixing his car. Had me waiting for about 10 min and this was going on the entire time. Not only that but he didn't paint my nails correctly. I do not recommend this place. Go somewhere else read more

Calvin is the best in Norwalk Hands down, I first started coming here when Denny used to do my nails but he left the shop shop. Now Calvin does mine! Was always skeptical of a guy to do my nails. But now never let anyone else touch them! Oh and also I came in on a Friday morning at 10am was the first on here, and wanted calvin to do my nails but they said he wasn't coming until 12-1pm. So I asked Vicky to do my nails and at first she said yes your next then she changed her mind and said come back tomorrow or something. When I already told her I was only doing my nails right now and leaving the state for the weekend. She is usually very nice but today horrible customer service from her. Went here with my friend, not too terrible, they did a good job except I got the chair that didn't work so no spa massage, the nail polish is old and all small cheap brand name nail polish from downtown la! I will never get my nails done here again, I've been a customer for maybe 3 months never had a problem with anybody else besides the ladies who do the pedicures. I've had a few unsanitary incidents where I grew fungus on my hands because I assume they don't wash there hands after touching someone else's feet. If you look at there hands under the nails they are growing something and they look worn out and gross. After I stopped coming for 2 months now my hands look great FYI. Came to this nail salon because it was close to my house and my mom has come here before and heard nothing but good things. Now I gave it two measly stars, you ask why? And that's me being generous. Well coming in it was nice and clean there was no wait time. I came in for a mani & pedi. I got seated towards the back. First off the water was freaking hot! I asked for them to make it colder, no problem right? No, as soon as I put my feet back in still boiling hot. I let it go and bit my tongue. I brought in my own nail polish figuring they wouldn't have the one I wanted, and I was right. But the lady doing my peti was badgering me to get gel nail polish. I politely said no, but she pressed on. Again I declined. After that she was no longer polite or gentle she was rough. I came in to relax not get man handled. When she was done she just moved on, and I came in sneakers so I had to walk to the mani station bare foot. Disgusting. The man who did my nails was polite made small talk which I thought was nice, but yet again they tried to sell me gel nail polish likes it's the new weight lost supplement. I said no again, he couldn't wait to finish with my nails. All small talk was over and done with. As soon as he was done he went to the register and said " you pay here now! " I thought that was so rude and unprofessional. I was so tempted not to leave a tip just to spite him but I gave him a 5 dollar tip as well as the young lady who did my peti. Take your money elsewhere. I just moved to Norwalk and all the other nail salons with high ratings and good comments were busy, so I ended up at the worst nail salon I've ever been to. When I first came in, an older lady named Kim took care of me. She was asking me what I wanted and I told her I wanted a coffin shaped, acrylic French tip. She told me it would look "ugly" so I took her opinion into consideration and told her to just give me a rounded French tip because I'm not fond of square shaped nails. Then I asked if I can get a pedicure too because I randomly thought "I'm already here. Might as well." She laughed in a rude way because they like to do pedicures before manicures first. So she told me to sit in the other chair for my pedicure and her boss was speaking in Vietnamese. I'm guessing she said, "It's okay. You can do her manicure and the other nail tech can do her pedicure." I already knew she was going to do a bad job because every time she'd glue the French tip on, it would come off a few seconds later. She wasn't being careful at all. I was here TEN days ago and my nails already came off. My acrylics were already lifting and loosening up less than a week later. I've been extra careful at work just so they won't come off. I have been getting acrylics for a couple of years from many different nail salons and they've always lasted at least a month for me until they come off even when I'm not being careful at work. Ten days is unacceptable and truly a waste of money. Kim was rude and definitely unprofessional. She didn't even bother to clean my nails before applying the acrylic and clear nail polish, which left all kinds of dust particles underneath the clear nail polish. I haven't left a review on Yelp for a long time. This place was so bad that I actually made a new account just to leave a review 10 days after coming here. I generously left 2 stars because the younger lady who did my pedicure did a great French tip. She was extra gentle with my feet (I am ridiculously ticklish) and was always asking if I'm okay. The only thing I did not like about her was that I was insisting on a nude color for my pedicure because pedicures last me about 3 months and I nude is my go to color, but she kept making me agree to a French tip just to match my manicure. I know they're nail technicians so they know what looks good. But come on, these nail technicians made me change MY nail shape and color of choice all in one service. It's not like I was doing crazy colors. I simply wanted natural colors and coffin shaped nails. I know this was a long review, but you'll thank me later. I suggest you look for another nail salon even if it means waiting for 45 mins. Or at least don't have Kim do your acrylics. If you don't do it her way, she'll talk crap about you in Vietnamese. Never again! I had the individual fake lashes done here. The procedure itself was really uncomfortable and I felt like she kept getting glue in my eye! The results: cheap clumpy looking lashes. They were/are so painful, all the lashes are stuck together causing a lot of pinching. Today is my 2nd day with them and I'm in the process of getting them removed. Not worth it! I got introduced to this place by a lady I met in a nail salon in Lynwood. She said "I really like it over there because they give you a bag with the stuff they use on you" that really made me want to go. I went about a week later to get a pedicure. I really liked it :) I started going with my boyfriend to get pedicures and he complained he didn't like it because they cut him. I told him I really liked it so we kept going. I don't go there anymore, because last time I went one of their workers did my pedicure and did a horrible job. She didn't even try to make my feet soft. She didn't get rid of my ingrown nail. I come here all the time. And there has been a few times I have been unsatisfied but I still continued to come because location and price is convenient for me. But what happened this weekend had me pissed off. Let me start off by saying that these people have no clue what customer service is. Sometimes when you walk in they (the workers) will just stare at you without saying a word! But that never really bothered me much. I don't really speak that much but geez at least a simple "Hi", "Hello Welcome" would be nice once in a while. So this weekend I came in for a full set and just as always the place was busy and I had to wait for the people ahead of me to get serviced and/or the next available worker. It was about 3-4 other women ahead of me so the wait was nearly 2 hours... So finally when someone was available she asked what did I want and I said ACRYLICS and she said someone else will do that and went to the next person in line. When I finally got the person who was supposed to do my nails I told her I wanted pointy shaped then she said something in her language to her coworkers and went on to the next person... I watched 2 people that came after me get there nails and toes done and went on with their day while I was still there not being serviced. Not understanding why I haven't been serviced nor what I was waiting for. I watched the other coworkers sit there watch TV and eat lunch while I was sitting there waiting for, God knows what, to do my nails. i believe they wanted me to wait for Calvin but idk why they just couldn't mention that... Plus Calvin had 3 people ahead of me. So you're telling me out of about 6 or 7 workers in the nail shop only ONE can do pointy shaped acrylics? And after waiting almost 2 hours you wanted me to wait some more for Calvin? Nope gtfoh I left.Don't get me wrong Calvin does a great job even though he sketchy with pricing because once he gave me a price for nails then when he was done charged me something totally different and idk why because I didn't get designs or anything but he stated it was because of length. So you charged me $7 more for length that wasn't even that long. I'll probably start getting my nails done else where but I will continue to get my eyebrows done here.
