5.7.26 First time visiting this legendary burger joint, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Hubby and I had Jack in the Box the day before, and this was a noticeable step up. The burgers are smashed, giving them that perfect crispy crust. I'd rank it right alongside Five Guys in the fast-casual category. If I lived on the West Coast, it would absolutely be in my regular rotation.

Love me some in n out! I didn't get to order a burger sadly, it was super packed and I was on a super long drive. I did want a shake though! I asked the cashier if a shake and fries would take long and he said no and he was right. I was glad it came out super quick! He was very friendly, wish I would've gotten his name. Fries were beyond fresh, nice and hottt ! The Neapolitan shake was so good too and worth it.

In-N-Out has always been one of my favorite burgers (just like it is for many people). However, when I went on Sunday, April 26th, I was a bit disappointed with a few things. The male employee taking my order kept misunderstanding me, so I had to repeat the same thing three times. My order was: 3 cheeseburgers with grilled onions & Extra tomatoes and cut in half, and 2 Double-Doubles with regular onions, not cut in half. But he kept asking again and again, so I had to keep confirming and re-explaining everything from the beginning. Where is the grilled onion? I clearly ordered grilled onions, but they made the burgers without any onions at all. This has actually happened many times whenever I order grilled onions here, so I'm honestly not sure when I'll ever get to actually have grilled onions at this location. Still, the staff are always friendly, which I do appreciate.

Mannnnn, this place gets BUSY. I've been in at different times and it is always packed to the brim. However, you never have to wait too long for your food despite the feeling that there's a never-ending mass of people ahead of you. Even though it's always overflowing with patrons, the dining room is kept clean and all the extras (like the peppers and ketchup) are always neatly stocked. I can tell everyone here works hard. As far as the food goes, great burgers. I've personally never been a fan of the fries but that just gives me an excuse to use that calorie expenditure on a second cheeseburger. :)

If you want fresh not frozen beef patties for your hamburgers, burgers under $5, and a not-so secret, secret menu all from a company that actually pays its employees a decent wage, you can't go wrong with In-n-Out. This location can get pretty busy during nights and weekends, but it's run pretty efficiently. I've never had to wait longer than 20 minutes in the drive-thru. During busy times, there's usually an employee manning the drive-thru line to take your order ahead of time. The interior is always really clean surprisingly. I went today and was in awe of the white tables that had no marks and were wiped down regularly by staff. Food is pretty standard across all In-n-Out locations. That being said, this location is better at building the burgers. It's never sloppy or soggy. Just the right amount of toppings. Not a fan of their fries in general, but the cheese fries are alright if I'm feeling extra snacky. Smallish parking lot but there's a big parking garage across the street.

This In-Out location is one of the busiest spots in Burbank. No matter what time you visit this location there is a long line. For food, I think In-Out has the best burgers. They are always fresh and yummy. It is easy to tell that they are not frozen. Fries are always fresh too. My favorite thing over the years has always been their shakes. Everytime I visit any In-Out location, I order the strawberry shake. It is so yummy. For service, staff are always nice and friendly. They are really good at managing stress and working under pressure. For ambiance, this location has both dine in and outdoor seating area. It is very clean and well maintained. Parking can be a challenge. This location has parking lot which is shared with other stores. During busy hours, sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot. I would suggest avoiding drive through, sometimes it's very confusing where to enter . Since, they keep moving around the signs.

After waiting 35 min in line. Girl taking my order at the drive thru was rude. Food was burnt. Fantastic job guys

This is a great stop on our way to Burbank. Service is excellent and they get our order ready so quickly every time. The food is fresh and always hot. This is right by the freeway so it does get busy.

    It's double double time.

The staff is super friendly. The place is always busy. The food is delicious. The parking is limited and crazy. We park at the mall and walk over. Can never beat the double double animal style.

Always great getting food from here. Food was excellent and service always welcoming. Always clean restrooms and clean dinning areas. Even when busy still always wonderful speedy service.

I have been to this location many times and on my recent visit back to LA saw that I had not reviewed it...so here you go. I am going to start with the very noticeable bad first....parking and the drive-thru. IT IS BUSY....!!!! Usually In-N-Out locations have busy drive-thru lane, but this one wraps through a very small lot off the street and it is impossible to park in the handicap spots (or any spots in front) due to the way the drive-thru line goes through. We had someone who needed handicap parking and they had to walk from the far side of the lot. This is not good and I am not sure that ADA laws are properly enforced in this lot. Also if I were a business in the same location, I would move since the traffic doesn't allow for other businesses to get their customers into the shops. Okay now the good, In-N-Out is always fresh and made to order. That is the number 1 thing you should know about this or any other location. The staff was extremely friendly and the food is consistent. If you come to the area, mind the parking and eat there rather than drive-thru, it is best that way.

The figs was such a nice sweet layer to the crispy, crunch, and tart brussels. Paired well with the bacon too. Ordered the proscuitto with arugula flatbread for our "main". Amazed that it was $14 and it was a pretty big flatbread! I would say that the proscuitto wasnt spread out enough. There were some pieces that didnt have any at all! We ordered beef burgers, a fried chicken sandwich with avocado, loaded fries, regular fries, drinks, and a shake. The beef burgers had great flavor and were definitely the highlight of the meal. My chicken sandwich was good, but it didn't have that "wow" factor that would make me want to order it again. The loaded fries were tasty too. Our total came to $81 for three burgers, three orders of fries, two drinks, and a shake. Since everything is à la carte, it felt a little pricey for what we received. Overall, I'm glad we tried it. The one bright spot of the evening was our host, Sophia. She was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel genuinely appreciated from the moment we walked in. She provided the level of hospitality I expect from Islands. Unfortunately, everything after we were seated went downhill. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which arrived extremely runny and lacked any real flavor. Even the "secret seasoning" couldn't improve it. It was not something I would order again. I ordered the Longboarder Burger and was equally disappointed. The bun had a strong, stale odor that made it seem as though it had absorbed the smell of a pantry shelf or had been sitting far past its prime. The smell was so off-putting that I had to take the burger apart and eat only the patty. Even then, the patty itself was underwhelming, lacking both quality and flavor. For a restaurant known for its burgers, this was unacceptable. Our server, whose name I don't recall, was absent for most of the evening. While I understand restaurants get busy, being busy shouldn't come at the expense of basic attentiveness. On more than one occasion, she appeared too rushed to fully listen to what we were saying. At one point, my partner was still in the middle of speaking when she simply walked away before he had finished his sentence. That left us feeling dismissed rather than cared for. I've always associated Islands with consistently good food and friendly service, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Sophia, the hostess, delivered excellent hospitality, but the food quality and the service we received after being seated fell well below the standard I expect from this restaurant. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because based on this visit, I would hesitate to return.
