This is the best in n out. The service is always good and they get my order right every time. It's well-managed; not all of them are. Proteinmaxxing hack: order the flying dutchman with whole grilled onions and chopped chilis. It's like poor man's steak all dressed up

How can you not be happy at a nice In-N-Out in a majestic location at the intersection of the 134 and the 2 freeway. Mountains surround this iconic location and gives you a woodsy environment. Inside, everythink is so clean and fresh and the staff are remarkable with great precision and accuracy. Lastly, the Double-Double was perfectly made and was just the way I liked it. The animal fries were a little cold but still delicious after the half hour drive home.If you want to go when there are no lines, try 10 AM in the morning...

The essential West Coast famous burger hot spot with surprisingly awful fries! Didn't realize the common knowledge of how spongy, mushy, weirdly flavored the fries are, yes they were fresh. Didn't help, just added more hot and freshness to what was not tasty at all, at least this crew was cooking without a rest for the mad rush of what seemed like an entire baseball team showing up with us twelve for dinner. I did enjoy the lettuce, protein style, wrapped burger. Well made and good quality for fast food, I easily support the curious secret not secret at all menu as the way to try In N Out.

HAPPY EMPLOYEES Happened to be in the area when I strolled by this In-N-Out in Glendale. Miraculously, there wasn't a line - yet!- so I immediately ordered a hamburger, fries and water. If you're going to eat fast food, they have the best! All the employees were so happy and cheerful, I felt like I was in the middle of a 1950s TV episode. If only every establishment had such wonderful service! By the time they called my number, there was a long line for lunch, and tables were filling up fast. I scored a nice seat, but some of the customers around me were a bit odd. The food was delicious; the atmosphere, not so much. Guess I'll have to endure the lines in my own neighborhood the next time I'm craving another In-N-Out burger.

3x3 Animal Style

Given that the In-N-Out in Alhambra is temporarily closed until they sort out the huge drive-thru lines that creep into the street, this location was the closest one to visit. Food here is consistent as always. Ordered a 3x3 animal style, which was great as usual. Also ordered very ambitious concoction of animal fries (light well) + chopped raw onions + whole grilled onion + raw grilled onion and a meat patty on the side. Safe to say, this definitely hit! Staff here are great. When we came here, it was pretty much a madhouse. But they do a great job of keeping everything in order. Even had one person dedicated to cleaning tables after people left. Very appreciated! I will note the parking and drive-thru situation here is pretty rough at busy times. If not for the fact neighboring Fuji Buffet was temporarily closed, there simply would not be enough parking spots. And don't get me started on that insanely long drive-thru line. There's a reason I just order inside. Overall, this location certainly is busy for a reason as it is right next to the freeway exit. Plenty of reasons to see why it is so popular. But they certainly get the job done.

Animal Fries well done
Anh T.

Granted, it was more crowded than usual due to an event happening on the day I went, but I expected a certain quality from this In-N-Out. The service was friendly, and the wait time for our order was understandable. I ordered their animal fries well done, why my friends ordered different burgers and fries. While we all ordered different types of fries, including normal, lightly done, and well done, all fry qualities and textures were the same. Additionally, the burgers were burnt in different areas of the buns. This wasn't the best experience with In-N-Out, but I'm willing to try location again in the future.

Loved this in-n-out location. Caid took my order and he was very patient. He gave me advice as to what to order and was very smiley and friendly, and those people are the best. I ended up getting the flying dutch, like i always do with a side of fries and got the small lemonade. It was so delicious that i ended up getting another regular burger (also because i was traveling back home the next day and made sure i was indulging in in-n-out lol). There is plenty of seating inside and outside but it's still always so packed, it's crazy but not surprising because it tastes so good and service is great. Theres music playing but it's never too loud but then again, there's so many people there that you really struggle having conversations. I also really like that they have a separate bar for sauces, napkins and the peppers. I ended up getting an in-n-out hat as a souvenir and some sauces to go but the in-n-out spread is SO GOOD. Can't wait to be back! I miss it already.

I would have to say that over all the years the food and service has always been consistent. We always have a large party of 15+ and the staff is always willing to accommodate us every time. I usually always order my staple coconut fried shrimp, always cooked to perfection and jumbo size is an understatement.. They are of gargantuan size and the entree includes around eight of them. These coupled with one of their signature Mai Tais and boom, I am in Hawaii! The ambiance of this place is so cool! I have a thing for Tiki Bars and Polynesian places and this place doesn't disappoint! Think of the Disneyland "Tiki Room" meets "Monkeypod" in Oahu! The dim lighting, bamboo, vintage Polynesian decor, hanging canoes, glowing tiki lamps, aquarium, and old-school island soundtrack make this one of the coolest dining rooms in Los Angeles. It's nostalgic in the best way, and honestly, the atmosphere alone is worth experiencing once. It's easy to see why Damon's has become such a Glendale institution since 1937. Unfortunately, that's where the experience peaked for me. We started with the potato skins, which were fine--crispy enough, loaded with cheese and bacon--but they felt like something you'd find at Chili's or TGI Fridays. Good, just not memorable. The famous house salad was fresh, but again... nothing that really stood out. For entrees we ordered the Rib Cap and the Sirloin & Shrimp. The rib cap had decent flavor, but for a premium cut I expected more tenderness and a bigger wow factor. The sirloin was cooked properly, the shrimp were fine, and the sautéed spinach was actually one of the better parts of the meal. Overall though, nothing tasted bad--it just never rose above "solid chain steakhouse" quality. The cocktails were probably the biggest surprise. In a place built around tiki culture, I expected drinks that transported me. Instead they were just... okay. Perfectly drinkable, but lacking the punch and creativity you'd hope for from such an iconic tiki destination. Reading through other reviews afterward, it seems I'm not alone. Most people absolutely love Damon's for its atmosphere, history, and nostalgic charm, while opinions on the food tend to be much more mixed. Many longtime guests return because the experience is unique, even if the menu hasn't evolved much over the years. Bottom line: Come for the atmosphere. Come for the history. Come because it's one of Southern California's classic tiki restaurants. Just don't come expecting one of LA's best steakhouses. Damon's feels like dinner inside an enchanted Disney tiki attraction, but the food and drinks never quite match the magic of the room. If they elevated the menu and cocktail program to the same level as the atmosphere, this place could easily become one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. As it stands, it's a destination worth visiting--just set your expectations accordingly.

With the seemingly ever-changing landscape along Brand Blvd. in downtown Glendale, this establishment has been around since 2012 (which I believe was the first and only time I came here). Primarily known for its inventive craft cocktails and a killer whiskey selection, it was a nice place to sneak away into before or after your main event... or, maybe this could be the place to spend an entire evening. Would this bar famously make an impression on me to remember to return in the future!? After a few minutes of reviewing the menu, we each placed our order at the bar, our drinks were delivered quickly while the food took mere minutes to arrive at the table. We had to approach the bar each time we ordered something, but any empty glasses and plates were collected at the table. Once we closed out our tabs, we were thanked for coming as we headed out into the night. Everything was chill and easy - thank you! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance): I parked in the nearby original Glendale Galleria parking structure and simply walked over first to The Americana then to this place. Otherwise, there was limited parking along the main drag of Brand Blvd. and other surrounding side streets, the nearby Glendale Galleria II parking structure, The Americana parking structure that offered validation, numerous public transportation options, and rideshares - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A dark cavernous speakeasy-like place with open space, various tables and couches strewn about, and a large long somewhat decorative bar with an impressive whiskey selection displayed behind it. I appreciated the exposed brick walls which gave it that old-time feel with a few framed pictures hung on them. Minimal natural lighting came through the front doors and windows while minimal electric ceiling lights filled in rest. There was at least one projection TV where we watched the Dodgers game while music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=SomLKsk1KVcemeOCHGOZfg ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL It was nice to slip into The Famous Bar for the first time in over a decade, and if I found myself spending time in downtown Glendale again, I'd consider another visit. Sadly, I try to avoid the highly congested area as much as possible. I loved the fact that they had a daily happy hour (4pm-7pm) and late-night SU-TH happy hours (10:30pm-close), so there was always a deal to be found. The drinks were the main reason you came, while the food was just an add-on. The prices were elevated, but you had a good menu selection of libations (nice local craft beer list) to choose from. The customer service was easy, friendly, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...
