Just here to review wait times because they are loooong. Idk if it's just me but every time I eat here dining in, I have to carve out at least an hour out of my day lol. Let me explain. The experience is: wait 10-15 mins to place your order. Wait another 20-30 minutes minimum for you to get your order after it's placed. Then spend another 10-15 mins eating. It's wild. I feel like the drive thru line moves faster but that line is usually outrageous too so idk which is better. In out corporate needs to find a larger restaurant space for the workers of this location lol. They're crammed in a space that's literally smaller than a standard living room and probably serving 5k people a day. That's why the wait times are astronomically slow. You can never miss with In N Out!! Such amazing fast food for a burger and fries. I love their Animal Style Fries!! The prices are phenomenal and you cannot beat the price for what you are getting. The food is so delicious and filling. The service is always so great even when they are crazy busy (which they always are). Expect to wait at least 20 minutes when it isn't busy and at least 30 minutes when they are. The lines are crazy long, especially drive thru, but totally worth it. Been to this in n out a few times now and have always had good experiences. One thing about this location though is I only come here late at night when it's not as busy bc it is very inconveniently placed on a busy road near a bunch of businesses. However, the service and food are always great as with any other in n out! The wait is a little longer than other locations in my opinion too, but nothing major! read more

I typically get off my car and order because it's quicker. However, my experience today was surprising. Approx 1 hour from the time I arrived to the time I got my food which is simply unacceptable. I think this In-N-Out is the typical small In-N-Out experience - lines of cars on the streets, a handful of in-person orders, and a normal 10-15 minute wait time. Finding parking is hard nearby, and the walk is about 3-5 minutes from nearby neighborhoods. I ordered my usual double double and well-done fries. I have to admit it was pretty average and expected, with the fries being nicely crisp as usual. My only disappointment was that they were pretty skimpy on the fries, but there isn't quite much to compliment or complain about. the drive thru line is just too long now! like the last 3 times I tried to go it was at least 3 or 4 blocks long! Average wait is like 30-40 minutes. Yes you read that right. God forbid you have to pee or need to pinch a loaf. To add insult to injury they messed up my milkshake the last couple times I waited in this god awful drive thru line. I reckon they changed the recipe so now the chocolate shake they served and I grew to love is now this runny, watery stool. For years it was really thick and robust and you'd have to blow a vein in your head to suck it through a straw. But now its the complete opposite. You might as well just drink water. Thanks to Governor Gavinomics Gruesome the prices have gone up a little. Now I spend on average like 30-40 cents or up to a dollar more for the exact same order. Mind you they didn't raise their prices as high as other fast food restaurants like McDs or Carl's, it just sucks to pay more and wait this much longer and only to have sub standard quality. Line is always crazy long at this location lol but the service is great, the ambiance isn't your typical in n out, they only have outside seating. The food is ya know, In n Out, I ordered a double double animal and protein style, with chopped pepperoncinis, both onions and fries cook well done. Always hits the spot! read more

I want to leave one star but I'll leave 3 instead because this is my favorite spot. The reason I'm leaving this review is because this is the second time the same dude (on my recipe it says "ordertaker 3") who is outside taking orders that has gotten my order wrong. He doesn't repeat the order & seems annoyed when we tell him our specific order. Everyone else who is taking orders outside repeats the order. If he thinks taking orders on a tablet/repeating the order is hard or too much work this isn't the right job for him. Now I have a half ass assembled burger because he got my order wrong. This is the worst in n out location I've been to. Management here is non existent. The line was at least 30 cars deep and no one outside to take orders! Why? Every single time I visit, I get a lousy burger that is constructed so poorly it might as well be a day-old burger from McDonald's. I usually visit the Alhambra location but I was in the area so I decided to take a chance today. And once again, I got the worst In-N-Out burger imaginable. I didn't even think it had a meat patty on it at first, because there's barely a patty on it at all. What could I possibly say about In-n-out burger that has not already been said a thousand times already? Of course waiting in line is part of the experience. If you didn't wait and got to order your meal right away, it would be a memorable moment. Take the few moments of waiting to enjoy being with your family or friends. We checked our ancient aunt out of the senior care home and brought her to In-n-out just to get her out of the building, see the sunshine, mountains and palm trees. Mark it off your in and out bucket list location. This location is the oldest running in and out location! Pretty neat and cool to step back into time seeing to drive thru windows and how the process has now developed. Same oh menu and staff were kind. Since it's on the smaller side expect a bit of a wait. No parking so you will need to park across the street or on the back side streets. I ordered a flying Dutchman combo meal covered box with one extra patty. when I got home .. opened the box and discovered no onion bun at all just 3 patties with cheese and really skimped on the fries. Got to speak with unhoused gentlemen during the wait and was so pleased with the respect the restaurant workers gave him. Too often people are treated less than because of their circumstances. My heart was full with the grace shown to him. Now to the food...my bun was pretty toasted so that made the juicy, animal-style cheeseburger a tad bit dry to get through. I got extra sauce packets to jazz it up because there was no way I wasn't finishing it. The animal-style fries were amazing! Had my first Double Double in 1972 when I was 15. It was heaven. Nothing like the ones we made at home on the patio BBQ. I have been to the Foothill Pasadena spot for over 50 years. High school friends worked there. I collected their entire set of cartoon character glasses. My 4 kids were introduced to them early on. I haven't had an In 'N' Out burger for over 10 years, though I always dreamed of stopping in for a double double with onions ~ the time of the day just wasn't right. Since we celebrated Christmas 2 weeks early this year for the out of towners, I thought, 'tonight's the night, a lovely, quiet , double double dinner' and a movie. Drove my dog and I down to Foothill Blvd. Lovely curbside service, though I was surprised to get right in after the curb order. Picked up the bags at the window and headed home. Fries, double double for me and 2 cheeseburgers for Sabi, the dog for his Christmas treat. I felt like I had just robbed a bank; everyone knows you have to eat the fries on the way home. Ok, so that was about 2/3 of an order. I thought it was fine so I could save the appetite for the burger. I didn't even salt them, just dug in. Not what I remembered. Fries were hot, still firm yet saturated in oil. I barely noticed the potato part or crispy outer shell that was once so tantalizing. Got home and put the burger on a nice holiday plate I had already set out. Without exaggeration, I thought it was a wrapped regular burger just found in a garbage can. The whole thing was small and quite thin. Nothing toasty or golden about the bun. Completely soggy. Remember when you left your shredded wheat in the milk too long as a kid ? I figured they got the order wrong but then I found a small shard of a 2nd patty inside. I have seen thicker bacon. The onion was one thin outer ring with the skin still on ~ it made good floss while I was pulling it through my teeth. The outer wrapper was twisted into the inner more tissue like paper which was completely saturated in pinkish liquid. I am not overweight, but after 4 bites, I was asking myself if this slop was really worth the calories . . . particularly after the short load of ''not your typical In 'n' Out fries." The burger was more of a smooshed thing; you know like it had already been sent to the circular bin then retrieved. I am 68 and this is the 2nd negative review I have given anyone in my life. I cannot imagine how a company that has clearly made bank on their brand would cut ANY corners and allow their product to slide into this abysmal state. Shame on the management for allowing this 'quality' of food to go out the window . . . speaking of out the window, I tossed the remains back into the circular bin. I grew up going to the BP location and I guess my standard is a bit high, but damn... today's order was not hitting. The fries were soggy, the patties were dry, and to top it off they forgot the pickles in my wife's burger. First the line was insanely long which isn't their fault but still annoying, after waiting for 20 minutes to order standing in the sun and 30 minutes to get our food still standing in the sun because of the limited seating our order was completely wrong.
