The cup they gave me looks like someone dropped it on the floor and dragged it then stepped on it or something before filling it up and giving it to me. It's all dirt on the sides and lid doesn't even close. Spilled on me when i tried lifting it up. Why would you guys serve a cup like this with a drink inside to your guests? This In-N-Out location has been here forever. It's old school drive thru with limited benches at the parking lot. I grew up eating Tommy's, however, this location is the first one I went to as a kid. Actually, it was one of very few In-N-Out locations prior to the newer sit down locations opening up. Lines always back up on Foothill Blvd. If and when I have gone, it's late at night when it's not too busy. The great thing about In-N-Out is the quality and consistency. The basic menu hasn't changed in decade with the exception of addtions of the secret menu. Love their burgers. So much better than Five Guys (sucks), Habit, and copy cat ones like EZ Take Out Burger. Fries are okay but fresh. I'd rather have thicker fries. Shakes are delish. read more

My first job when I was 16 was In-n-out Burger. I know the In's and Outs of the place... HAHAHAHA. GET IT? Ok... I'll shut up now... Location: Foothill blvd. Decor: It has a two lane drive-thru and a pick-up stand. Tidbit. The first 30 In-n-outs in Cali which date back to the 50's are this style. It's pretty swanky Food: Double Double with Both kinds of Onions/ Extra Both kinds of onions. Simply delicious Rootbeer Float: Super Sloppy. When Julian handed me the Rootbeer float it had completely exploded in the cup. He handed me the drink with a wad of napkins on the side griping the cup and foam dripping from the lid. The presentation and execution was piss poor. If I was him I would have just made me another one... Though, I know that In-n-out can get slammed... (RIGHT ON) Wait: I've never experienced such a long wait before for food. Seriously, I've worked at 119 (Westwood) and it gets busy. We're talking about long ass drive-thru and huge ass lines. Though, regardless of how slammed we are the wait time is bearable. I felt like I was waiting for 25 mins for my food. *Had to pick up a To Go order for Ji's Baby sister Stacey and I dreaded waiting another fuckin' 20 mins to get pick up our food. I went up to Julian and asked if I could get a refill of the drink cause of how sloppy and piss poor the first Rootbeer float was and when .. Again the rootbeer float overflowed... Every single time I come back here the wait is so long... The quality of the burger is In-n-out quality but the service and wait time is not of In-n-out standards. I will try to avoid this In-n-out as much as I can or bring a book or my Ipad to compensate for the ridiculously long wait for my food. read more

This is the In-N-Out of my youth. One of the original, drive-thru only locations, there are picnic benches where you can pull over to enjoy your meal. You can order via the drive-thru or walk-up window. Luckily, I live a few towns over so it's a mere 5 minutes before I can tear into one or two of their lovely burgers. My favorite hamburger stand of all time! The Tujunga In-N-Out is what hamburger stands are all about: delicious hamburgers, excellent service and fine milkshakes. Not only that.....this In-N-Out is famous. That's right! It plays a key role in a super great book "Under and Alone" about an undercover agent that infiltrated a motorcycle gang starting right at this very restaurant! Doesn't get any better than that. Talk about "secret menus"! And...the line here is way shorter than I've encountered in many other In-N-Outs. Wish I could give more than five stars. Fries are actually really good when they come out hot, they also taste slightly healthier than McDonald's fries. However, this location has two options: drive-through or eat-in-your-car (parking spots available). No sit-in. There are only 2 lanes, and 99% of the time I come here the lines are super long, and they move veryyy slow. It can take up to 20 minutes to get my food! Also, they don't utilize the (one) "order here" speaker very well; instead, they have an employee going around to each car to take orders. More than once they've missed my car, which means I have to order at the window and wait even longer for the food to be ready. Suggestion to management: use one "order speaker" per line, to make things more efficient! read more

If you decide to order at the walk-up window please don't complain when they treat you like a second class citizen and make you wait 10 minutes just to order. Took my wife here to the drive thru. She mistakenly ordered her hamburger "animal style" instead of "protein style." She realized her mistake and told the cashier when she picked up her order. Rather than swapping the mistaken burger, they made her a protein style burger and then charged her for both! Of course we just threw the animal style one in the trash. I can't think of another restaurant that would do that and wouldn't just change out the incorrect burger for free. I know people have a cult-like love for their food -- I don't get it -- but with utterly garbage customer service like this I will not return. read more

I love this entire chain. The burgers are just perfect, paired with some animal fries if extra hungry and a milk shake. Nom. I've seen this place packed with cars. What can I say? This is one of my favorite burger spots even though I know this is a commercialized restaurant. But still family owned and private so what can I say. Closest In-N-Out from La Canada Flintridge and probably has faster service than the one in Glendale off the 2 freeway. Other than that, almost every burger/fries I order here is consistent in taste and crunchness. Like always, workers here are friendly and nice. One thing bad thing about this place is entering into the parking lot if you dine in. Also, the drive-through can be a hassle if it is so long it goes all the way to the main street. read more

All "in n out" taste practically the same since the food is fresh off the grill, I can't say a time that their food has tasted differently. This was the worst experience I have ever had at an In-n-Out and I always love these restaurants. There was hardly a wait of people outside for their orders and about 10-15 cars in line. It took 30 minutes, THIRTY MINUTES! to get my order for my family. Then no napkins, no fork or plastic ware, refills for drinks were not easy to get either. It's really unfortunate the management trains their employees not to be complete when filling orders. Or so lackadaisical not to remember the patrons who are waiting in the heat while lines of vehicles pass through the cashier windows and are catered to more than the homeless man who waited out with us for his food. Wow! Absolutely the rudest in-n-out I have ever been to. I pulled up at 12:58 knowing they close at 1:00am. As I was waiting a tall bald headed fellow (almost bic'ed Hispanic) came 1 step towards my car and yelled "we are closed" didn't even have the common courtesy to come and say something polite, just yelled it in my direction. As I couldn't pull back, I followed the car in front of me to the window, (who didn't have any issue ordering before me) a Hispanic gal mid 20's ask what i was doing as she walked out of the door. I replied I was trying to get a burger and she snapped we aren't serving anymore. I said I was behind that car for 5 minutes waiting and they got served, and she then mocked me, saying she had to go and count the cash and didn't have time for this. I mean its In-N-Out. How could you go wrong? It's all about those whole grilled onions and perfectly toasted buns. YUM! The ONLY thing I hate (and this is common to ALL In-N-Outs) is that they ALWAYS put the napkins on top of your burgers and then your napkins come out of the bag covered in spread and are therefore rendered useless. But I'm not taking any stars off because those workers kick butt, my order is always accurate, and man are those burgers good! read more
