Good, not very good. Definitely, not Great. The menu is thick. The offerings are vast and impressive. And, most importantly, the food was decent but our overall impression was that the dishes were just a bit off from our expectation and benchmarks of our other favorite Indian restaurants in the area. The saag paneer was less flavorful and a bit thin in sauce and taste. The Samosa and fried vegetable appetizers were too overcooked and mostly consisted of little scrappy pieces. The aloo gobhi was adequate but still not comparable to others. So, all in all, a good place to grab a wide variety of Indian dishes and beyond if you're in the area. Maybe wait for the buffet hours to try a large sample. We didn't. Our group was there for dinner and, quite likely, may only return to try the buffet but at this point not compelled. Never go there for dinner... What a pathetic experience we had. If you are in the restaurant business, you should know how to staff for Mother's Day. From not greeting seated guest for 15 minutes just come and ask if we want anything to drink and then 20minutes later asking "are you ready to order"? So we decided to place the whole order (3 Apps, 4 Main course, 2 breads) together. Then about 20 minutes later first appetizer arrived. Another 10 minutes one more appetizer. Then came 3 of the 4 main course items. Only one bread came. After waiting for a while, informed manager that we are still missing 1 appetizer, one main course and one bread. No apologies just an excuse it's coming and you know we are busy so it will come... Walked away and another 10 minutes later, nothing. I had to ask again and then came the appetizer, worst samosa ever.. refried, soaked in oil and over fried. Waiting again for my daughters noodles, bread for my wife and nothing. Finally 20 minutes later those two showed up and manager came by and do you need boxes? Really, are kidding me? Food tasted horrible, just overall not the best experience. read more

Had a lunch buffet here today. My first visit! I was greeted by a young lady by the name of Karan. She had a beautiful smiling face and made me feel very welcome. I began my meal at the Samosa Chaat bar. The gentleman serving was very friendly and created an amazing dish! I wasn't going to have all the toppings but I let him do his specialty and I was blown away that I liked it so much. I don't even like chickpeas but actually enjoyed it in this dish. Delicious! I sampled everything on the buffet, with the exception of goat, and it was all warm and tasty I found out that I even like firm tofu apparently as it was in a vegetarian dish. I'm not a vegetarian but I thought they had several options. I finished my meal with a little Gulab Jamun (sweet honey ball) and a bit of Kheer (rice pudding) What a delightful place. Quite fancy. It was a wonderful experience all around even dining solo. Karan Serviced my table also and was such a delight. The only thing I wish they had was garlic naan instead of plain but that is the most negative thing I could say about this dining experience. I hope to visit again soon. Drive Drove by the place once and saw the sign. In an old Bob Evans location. The interior has been renovated and definitely is not Bob Evans. Looks immaculate inside. Buffet is well organized. Food was all delicious . It is seasoned and is spicy. I sampled most of the dishes. All were pleasing to the taste. Food was all warm. Apparently desserts are separate from the main buffet price. I will need to try the desserts next time. This is a return again place. I just hope the quality of the food maintains where it is starting at now. We started off by having the greeter seat her friends before us. We arrived and were told when a table for two was as cleaned we would be seated. Instead she sat her friends and then avoided us having another person deal with us. Now if you're wondering, yes I called ahead and they didn't do reservations. For 25 dollars apiece, we were underwhelmed by the quality. - Malai Chicken was delicious! - Pepper Chicken was good. - Goat Curry was good. - Manchow Soup was mediocre, tasted like a cheap canned soup. - Halwa was grainy/gritty. - Kheer was rubbery. - Butter Chicken was overly sweet, not tangy and not flavorful. - Dal Bhukra had little flavor other than salt and cheap-tasting grease, we didn't really taste real butter. - Chai was decent, but tea flavor was extremely light and couldn't taste many other flavors other than sugar and cardamom. All-in-all, a good buffet, but not worth 25 dollars. It is preferable to have less variety and make all items well than to have massive variety and make most items mediocre/poorly. Food and its presentation was great. The ambience was wonderful too, with lot of sensory elements. However, it really lagged behind in service. The customer service as just awful. The waiter never check on us after taking the order. The drinks were delivered late (I actually had to get them myself from the bar as they were just sitting there at the bar table) and the greeter at the entrance seemed grumpy. I ordered vegan curry but it had cheese in it. The gratuity was already added to the bill so they don't feel like they have to put on more effort or work on improving the service, but it will only bite them in the long run. The restaurant has lot of potential and if it works improving its management, customer service and organization, then it will have lot of success or future. Greeter should greet everyone with big smile and positive energy. The waiter should check on customers often and offer to help with menu. They should have separate drinks and desert menu. All I have to say is that in order to be gain a status of fine dining, a big step up on their part is needed! read more

Went on a Saturday lunch buffet. Very fancy inside. But once sat down they didn't say anything to us. Water was already In the no-lid bottle at the table. No one ever ask for what other drinks we want. 30 mins into eating still wait or never came to clear out the dirty dishes. We went up to ask a random waiter how much lunch buffet is, and it's $20 a person. Their buffet is different than all other Indian buffet I ever went to, no samosa for u to get. U have to go to the chef that is standing at the one corner cooking it at the station. He will give you one samosa, smash it up and then put a lot of stuff all over it. The honey sweet ball dessert, carrot dessert and the mango sauce with diced fruits, yeah they don't have that at the buffet. Just this sponge like white rounds that's sweet and the rice in sweet sauce as dessert. All curry got sauce more than meat. So you have to fight to get the meat when it first come out. Very slow in getting dishes and bowls out. Too pricey for a Saturday lunch buffet for sure. read more

I love Indian food! I have never eaten here, and due to this experience, probably never will. When I moved to Fishers, I was excited to see this establishment so close to where I lived. I had a group of 8 that were planning an afternoon, including lunch. We thought their lunch buffet sounded perfect. I stopped in there, early one evening, just to ask some questions and see if there would be a problem accommodating our group. The place was dead. Four employees standing at the front area when I walked in. One walked right past me, never acknowledged my existence and sat down. Two scurried to the back and the one that did come to "talk" to me was so condescending and rude...I will never set foot in there again. They just lost what could have been a very good customer and I WILL tell my friends about this disappointing encounter. read more

The buffet was plentiful and the preparation and seasoning were more than enjoyed. It was just sad that the food wasn't warm. I would imagine this will be reconciled and we will definitely be back for a second try. This location is a reincarnated Bob Evans spot. Walking in it was hard to recognize. The Imperial Flavor was obvious on entry. Large seats and tables, stone floors and Indian art. I had to look twice to see if the Raj was in the house! Even the buffet setup was beautiful, if not yet capable of keeping the food hot. We will be back. If the buffet status doesn't change we will order off the menu. read more

Food: underwhelming. Spent a lot on looks, little effort on ensuring taste is correct. Mutton biryani was 95% bones. Chicken karahi smelled really bad, tasted ok. Service: again, underwhelming. Either understaffed or unaware. Wait staff needs training to be more aware and cover for each other. Ambiance: very nice vibe and atmosphere. It's a shame the food and service don't live up to the look and polish. 18% forced gratuity on party of 4 or more. Service didn't meet those basic standards.
