I ordered the:…read more Chicken momo which are Nepali dumplings filled with chicken, and spices with two sauces, one that is not spicy and one that is. The dumplings are pretty large and good amount of filling, a little bland without the sauces to dip in. Lamb pharsi - slow cooked boneless lamb meat in a spiced sauce with butternut squash. Got it medium spice which not too spicy, really nice flavor. Also got it with side of naan since it comes with rice or naan. The naan was made to order when I came to pick my order up they were getting it ready. Kukhura Bhanta - slow cooked chicken & eggplant with a sauce served with choice of basmati, brown or plain rice or naan. Got the basmati rice which paired well. Chicken was very tender and could tell it had been cooked for some time. With what was ordered, surprisingly the meal was not heavy at all. Good flavor with the dishes.

This fairly new restaurant is super cute, cozy and had that authentic vibe upon entry. We were greeted warmly, then scored the awesome super sized table near the window because of our party of 6. Overall, the place felt homey and I appreciated that we were able to have a lively conversation without having music or typical restaurant noise to compete with. Our order: The Momo platter $17 Explosive chicken $14.95 Sherpa mix grill $23.70 Kukhura lamb tulsi $20.95 Chicken makhmali $20.95 Shrimp biryani $20.95 Dudh chiya $3.95 Mango lassi $4.95 18% gratuity was automatically added, which brought our total bill to $165.22 Portion wise, I have to say each dish was small and between the 6 of us, we were really only able to get a few bites of each dish. I also found that most of the flavors were not very strong, as I'm typically used to. I do have to admit that our party had request mild in the heat level but even the garlic naan was pretty bland and it didn't taste or smell like garlic, even though we could visibly see lots of garlic flakes on the naan. My dudh chiya was also lacking in tea essence, ginger, cloves and cardamom -- basically tasted like steamed milk... I wish I was more impressed as I did appreciate the warm service and overall ambiance.

I thought a place called Naan and Pizza was worth a try! And they JUST opened a month ago so we wanted to give them some business. My friends had Door Dashed a pizza but the delivery menu was much more limited so they were excited to go try it out in person. The restaurant is clean and decorated in a way that doesn't really point to the type of food they serve. But the tables were all laid out nicely. There are a TON of choices on the menu that are Indian-food focused. There were a variety of appetizers, Tandoori specials, chicken, lamb, vegetarian, seafood, biryani and appetizers. The pizza menu offered the classics (Hawaiian, garlic chicken), but also offered Tandoori chicken and Desi BBQ chicken. There were so many options it was a little overwhelming. We settled on the Goat Cheese Naan, Aloo Tikki Chat, Tandoori Chicken plate and Coconut Curry Chicken. EVERYTHING was delicious!! The naan was flavorful and came with a yummy dipping sauce. The Aloo Tikki Chat was something I've never eaten but it was delicious. The Tandoori chicken was a little dry for my liking. I took a big bite and it required some water to help me get it down. There wasn't a dipping sauce for it. The Coconut Curry Chicken was amazing. The chicken in that dish fell apart - it was so tender. And the rice that came with it was fluffy. I appreciated that the server came out and asked for the level of spice for the curry (my dish). I told him I could take some kick, but wanted to still be able to taste the food. There wasn't much spice to it, but that was okay, too, We were impressed overall. The portion sizes were great for the price. Everything is getting so expensive nowadays! You should definitely give this restaurant a try! They were empty when we came in on a Saturday night at 7 and we saw 2 to-go orders come through. They're just starting out so spread the word so that they get a genuine opportunity to make it!!

I got half Butter Chicken and half Palak Chicken on my pizza and it was delicious. Also, something about their crust was so good. It was chewy but it a good way and the crust wasn't overbearing. If I had any feedback though, I wish the flavors were more intense. I really wanted to be hit with the Indian flavors. But I'm assuming the toppings that they use are also what they serve as à la carte which I think the flavors get diluted when added with bread, cheese, and a bunch of other toppings. Also, I wish it was spicier! I got raita (yogurt sauce) on the side. I think all Indian Pizza places should serve raita on the side of their pizzas. I'll be coming back and trying their other pizzas.

Our total came out to around $230 including tax and tip, which felt reasonable for the amount of food we ordered. The restaurant was pretty busy during dinner, but we were seated after about a 20 minute wait, which wasn't bad at all. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Goat Cheese Naan, Roti Calamari, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Game Hen, Kale Fritters, and Gosht Biryani. My favorite dish was actually the Kale Fritters, which surprised me since I usually gravitate toward meat dishes. They were perfectly crispy, and the sauce had a great balance of sweet and savory flavors. My least favorite was the Tandoori Game Hen--it had a lot of bones and was a bit difficult to eat. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and the variety of dishes we tried.

We ordered paneer makhani, lamb chops and dal and everything was delicious. Just the right balance of flavor, tenderness to bite and the slight spicy kick. Since the place was full, it was loud but it didn't feel overwhelming. It was still tolerable to have a decent conversation. I have sensitive hearing, so that's a huge plus for me. Also tried lunch service on and it' was not as busy then. Highly suggest trying their lunch specials as they were generous portions with great value. So so sssoooo yummy! I really hope they maintain their neighborhood cozy vibe no matter how popular they get

The original plan was to grab some lunch items at Whole Foods, but who doesn't want to try a new restaurant?! Walking into the restaurant, it's a little unclear if you order the counter and they bring you food or if you're seated and you order at the table. We quickly figured out that your order at the counter and then grab one of the tables and they will bring you your order. I found the restaurant to be unkept, and most of the tables that did not have customers sitting at them were super dirty. The tables hadn't been cleaned from the previous customer/customers. We had already ordered and it was that quick mental conversation of are we expected to clean the table so that we can dine there or what. Thankfully, a bus boy appeared, and he didn't seem overly eager to want to clean the table that we were standing at but instead wanted to clean one that someone was dining at. It was kind of odd. He took a couple of swipes at the table and it really just removed the food that someone had dropped all over the table. Just not a comforting feeling when you know that you'll be dining in that same spot. Our food came out fairly quickly, and I was super excited to have a good meal. We ordered the lunch special, which included a lentil/garbanzo, bean side, CTM ( chicken, tikka masala), rice, and naan. We ordered one mango lassi to share because we figured it was easier to try it, then order too much. You can always order more, right?! The mango lassi was very underwhelming. It locked through mango flavor, and that hint of tanginess. I just felt like I was drinking warm mango juice. I definitely have had better. With the lunch plate, we upgraded the naan to the cheese naan. I love carbs like anyone else does, but I found this to be basically bread that someone had put curry flavor in with a couple of cubes of cheese. So basically curry powdered bread. Yuck. The CTM, I found the chicken to be very sparse in terms of the portion size, and the chicken was very rubbery. It was overcooked, and I specifically had asked for little to no spice. Apparently that request was ignored. The lentil and garbanzo beans were tasty, but the garbanzo beans were undercooked, incredibly hard, and the flavor profile was really weird. It couldn't decide if it was supposed to be spicy, spicy, and salty, or something in between. The rice was OK. It had far too much fenugreek in it, and again the flavor profile, even combined with the CTM just was a little offputting. The guy behind the counter was fairly friendly, but it wasn't that warm and inviting friendliness. Is this a place I would go back to? No, not at all The one thing that I really enjoyed was the artwork on the walls.

For food we got the following: -Dahi Sev Puri - this was my favorite dish, really fun to eat and great flavors. -Chole Bhature - this was also great! The puffy bread was sooo delicious and the chickpeas were perfectly seasoned and delicious. -Bhel Puri - this dish was unique and was a good size portion, but not as flavorful as the other two dishes. It felt like eating a savory rice crispy cereal, but not in a bad way :P -Garlic Naan - pretty decent but nothing special -Jalebi - I was really excited to try this dessert. I looooved the texture (crunchy outside, with a gooey inside) but the actual flavor was not my favorite. To me, it tasted very similar to chlorinated water, and it was hard to get past that.. There was a different jalebi with a dipping sauce, and I wonder if that would have been better. They were out of it when we went, but I would try it again with that. Overall, we enjoyed the food, although I felt it was a little expensive for the portion sizes. We made a fairly simple request to have one ingredient served on the side, but it was missed and never acknowledged. At one point, I asked for an extra napkin, and it was carelessly dropped onto one of our dirty plates. We were also asked to clear the table almost immediately after paying to make room for upcoming parties (as is their right, but they could have easily notified us of this earlier so we could plan accordingly - and the service hadn't felt particularly considerate or attentive up to that point). I understand they may have been understaffed, but the way the service was handled felt very avoidable. I wouldn't recommend unless trying authentic dishes is your top priority.
