Literally one of my local favorite spots for both drinks and food!!! Everything is yummy and the service is always great. Today I want to shout out to Caden for taking care of the spot today. I always get the Industry Burger but their brisket is so delicious too!!! I try something new every time and they can't fail. They have outdoor and indoor seating with great drinks on deck and sometimes they have live music. Please try them out and enjoy the food or ping pong table.
I usually have a pretty good experience here, but unfortunately my last visit wasn't the best. I ordered a Carajillo on the app from their menu, but the bartender came and told me they were out of liquor 43 so I had to swap to an espresso martini. I also ordered the kids chicken tenders as a snack and while the fries were awesome, the tenders came out looking pretty dark. I tried to eat one and it was very overcooked so I didn't eat the other two. On the positive side, I appreciate this establishment's hours, always love the music being played, and appreciate that it is always easy to find a seat. I'll probably still return on another occasion, but maybe not for food.
My husband and I stopped at Industry when out on our EBike ride. We parked our bike and walked in. It was very loud as they had a live DJ playing. We looked at the menu and placed our order at the counter and got a number. The restaurant has a lot of seating, a good size bar, and an outdoor space with seating. We chose to sit inside with a view out the back. At the time we went they were having a crawfish special. Not sure if that was a limited time but it was an option that day. My husband and I got our food in stages as it was prepared. The people that brought it to our table were friendly. For a starter we ordered the chips and green chili queso. It was just okay. The chips were thin and crispy but tasted a little stale. The queso was kind of bland. For our meal we shared the Brisket Pastrami Sandwich which comes with dijon mustard, pickles, swiss cheese, bacon, onion jam, and brisket Ju. It was good. The pickles were put on the side but I added them to my sandwich. They were crisp and sweet. The sandwich could have used a little more meat but it was good. Our sandwich came with potato chips. They were crispy. We also shared the Beefcakes which is buttermilk pancakes with brisket, bacon, and berry compote. The syrup is on the side. This was the star of our meal. The pancakes were fluffy and the brisket was good. I just wish there was more of it. The bacon was chewy but it was okay. The compote was really good. The flavor of all of the ingredients combined made for a salty and sweet mix. I tried a small amount with the syrup which added to the sweetness but this meal really didn't need the syrup. Overall Industry was an okay place to stop with plenty of seating, decent service, and good food.
Absolutely loved the wings. It's a casual spot in a great location. The menu ranged from tacos, burgers, sandwiches, nachos, wings, fries and side dishes. The menu stated the wings were #2 in Austin, so I had to give them a try. The smoke fried wings were incredible. The flavors were excellent, and they were crispy. I also had the macaroni and cheese, which I enjoyed. I ordered the sangria, but it was too sweet, so I ordered the old fashioned. The service was fast, but orders are either placed at the counter or from the table using a QR code. I would definitely come back for the wings.
Went here for the first time on a Sunday and it was poppin! Live music, which was great. The seating situation is a little confusing for it being our first time and had to find a server to figure out how the process works but you order at the counter (or table) and then find any open table. We had to kind of buss our own table and although I know it was busy, it just seemed a little disorganized and hence the loss of stars. Drink wise, they weren't our favorite cocktails but that's fine. Food wise, we ordered the breakfast burrito which was delicious, along with the pancakes and Smashburger. All great.
Industry never disappoints! We've been here multiple times and it's become our go-to spot for a great vibe and even better beer. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area, and the indoor setup with long tables and benches makes it perfect for big groups. The service is always top-notch. This visit, for appetizers we ordered, the Industry Nachos, Crispy Cotija Fries, and the Green Chile Queso and for mains, the Roasted Veggie Sando is a fantastic vegetarian option, and the Industry CFC was delicious. As beer lovers, their draft selection is why we keep coming back. In our recent visit, We enjoyed the Jester King Sasha Hazy IPA, Altstadt Bock, and Live Oak Hefeweizen--all incredibly refreshing. (Though their cocktail menu looks tempting too!) Don't leave without trying the Pecan Pie; it's my absolute favorite. They also host cool community events--spotted a poster for a singles night this time. Highly recommend!
Lots of open space and seating. When the weather is nice all the doors are open to let the cool air in. Pet friendly and there's some boardgames for you to play with friends and family. The staff are nice when I had questions. Place is very clean and inviting
The ambience was cool. Of course the restaurant looked quite industrial. The doors are kept open so it could've been cooler inside. The Industry Bowl was delicious. I ate every morsel! The brussel sprouts are just ok. Not a fan of the flavor combo. The staff was friendly. I'd definitely go back.
I like this spot a lot! I went for a Yelp event and have been back a couple times since, so they really earned my business. Hearing the owner talk about his philosophy on tipping was fantastic, which really got my buy in. Service fees are included so no additional tips are required in order to make sure your service person makes a living wage. Love it. Not just because math is hard. They have a great selection of bourbon, which is fun to explore. They also make a tasty espresso martini as it should be made. One of our friends had a carajillo which is less common but equally tasty. The food selection is diverse, but I wish they served breakfast all day. I would go too much if they did, so I guess that's good they don't. I really like the bowl with quinoa and various veggies. It's a chill spot to grab a drink and was super fun for sports too!
We had a great time with a group of 10+! Ordering off the QR code and open seating was very convenient. We went on a weekend night during mid December, so I'm not sure how busy it gets when there's more people in town. The drinks were pretty good and there was a variety to choose from. I ordered the chicken tinga tacos and I thought they were delicious! It came with chips and salsa. My friends ordered different things and it seems like everyone enjoyed what they got. I'd recommend this place for the convenience and variety to choose from in a large group. Not sure about the parking situation since we ubered but typically there's a lot of street parking in East Austin.
Sunday brunch Galentine's event at Industry! Shout out to my girl, Christine at Brunch Loud for hosting her very first Gal's brunch! We had a time and I am looking forward to next month's event in Austin! Now back to Industry This was my first time here and I've had it bookmarked for a while. I had a few mimosas, They have so many flavors for you to choose from. I like cranberry and pineapple! The bartender was super nice and the service was prompt. Y'all already know, I was hungry!! So of course everything looked good on the menu but I definitely wanted to try the biscuit and then I needed some protein so I ordered an à la carte egg and bacon. Everything was delicious. Those biscuits are something special and I want that recipe. Y'all... that bacon is so good. You gotta get you some!!! Anywho, I was there from 11:00 a.m. till probably 3:00 p.m. And this was mostly for my girlfriend's event. She had a live band called Hello Chaser, They were so good and fun and really engaged with the crowd. The Industry crew did such a great job keeping the drinks flowing and making sure everyone had a great experience! I'm looking forward to coming back again and trying more yummy food off of that menu!!!
Went there the second time last weekend to try some other items! First of all, clopen is a must try on the cocktail menu. It was such a delightful cocktail to sip on while sitting outside and people watching. Industry burger was really good, I appreciate the fact that there's no tomato's in it. I pretty much didn't have to ask to skip them, yay! My only complain is potato chips on the side instead of fries, pretty odd choice. Maybe would make sense to have it as an option between chips and fries. Texas Fish Fry, felt like a play on fish and chips, which was a very solid dish with a nice balanced of flavors and contrast of textures. The service was great. The staff is very friendly, just like last time. Somebody always walks around to check on the tables and take empty dishes/glasses away.
Austin, Tx. This is a great place for lunch on the Eastside. We walked in and sat right down at a table on the outside patio. It was a nice day and relaxing. They keep the tables and patio clean, not like other places that just clean up after lunch. Our brisket tacos were great, the meat was tender and perfectly spiced. They were a decent size too, none of this "Street Taco"nonsense. We weren't drinking beer on this day but the server brought us plenty of non chlorinated water. I appreciated the quick service and cleanliness after walking by Franklins where people have been lined up since the early morning at an old dingy dirty establishment. The tacos are pricey, $6.00 each. I personally will come back but certainly not on a daily or even weekly basis,

So I tried Industry for their brunch. Bottomless mimosas for 20. When I walked in, there was a live band playing, it was as abnormally loud. Not like a comfortable loud. So it was a bit difficult in having the only option to sit right in front of stage. It's like I had to yell to speak to my friends. But once the band left and it was the dj, the music sound was more tolerable. With not being too high. As for the Sundays, you can not order anything else but the brunch menu until 3:00pm. The service itself was quick and efficient to bring out the food. Unfortunately, for drink refills you had to walk back up to the bar for each time. There were servers but they came around every now and then. Additionally, I saw they had crawfish and shrimp outside, I'm not sure if that's a normal thing. Back to the bottomless mimosas, they do have a cut off time to grab that deal. As my other friend came in after 3pm, she was unable to get it. But the menu just says Sunday funday without a cut off time. Another friend and I were able to get the bottomless deal but our friends who came later were not. The food was alright, I feel pretty standard for a brunch. I would come back again, probably for the bottomless mimosas. I appreciate all the flavors they had for options. read more

Decided to check out Industry last night, it was a Friday around 7pm and they had a wedding party inside so we had to sit outside. There was plenty of space and the weather was beautiful so no complaints here. Bri was one of our servers and she was great. Very attentive, along with the others and answered our questions and gave suggestions. Ordered the nachos and added brisket which was a great idea because it was super tender and flavorful. Also got the kids cheeseburger and fries- the portion was generous so my son appreciated it. The pork belly tacos were a hit. Pork was crispy and the pickled onions added a nice acidic flavor. The fried chicken sandwich packed some flavor as well. We will definitely add Industry to our list of Eastside favorites! read more
Cool brewery type place with average brewery food, open air seating, and an outdoor patio. Nachos ($13) sub tots (+$2) - fine, can't go wrong with tots! Pork belly Bites ($11.5) - pretty bad, would not order again. Very tough and chewy and weird. Chicken Tinga Tacos ($14) - small and tasty, the tortillas seemed fresh/homemade. The drinks were a bit slow - seemed like the staff struggling today. So I finally gave Industry a shot and went for the house-ground Texas Wagyu patty topped with onion jam, Swiss, lettuce, and that tangy dill pickle-mayo on a brioche bun. Flavor? Excellent -- tender, not messy, and the jam had that "huh-this-is-different-but-I-like-it" moment. Only gripe: they were a bit light-handed with the kettle chips. Delivery came through fresh, so now I'm curious to see how it hits in person -- next round, I'm heading there to check the full ambiance myself. read more

I had an amazing experience at Industry from beginning to end! Andres ensured that everything went smoothly for me. He really stayed on top of things and went the extra mile. Excellent customer service! I'm extremely happy with my experience and will be back for sure! I tried the hot honey wings and wish I had some extra sauce! Next time I want extra sauce for sure! Lol sweet and spicy how I like it! I had the cojita fries which were perfectly crispy and hot with some cilantro ranch. Good stuff! Not pictured but try the clopen! It's like a frozen expresso martini! Loved it! Great place for a night out with friends! Really enjoyed the outdoor patio! They have some bar games back there. It was a great time! Stopped by Industry for a casual brunch hosted by a friend. While ordering the cashier tells me my price for the order $23 and I hand her my card. She swipes it twice. She says "sorry your card is not working" which I know is a lie, but whatever I hand her cash and keep the line moving. When I sit down my bank acct. to make sure my card hasn't been hacked or something and my account shows a charge twice for over $40. I ask the waitress about this and she says it's her second day ask someone else. The manager then comes over and explains they always put a hold on cards at-least $50. This was a surprise to me, didn't make sense--why not just allow me to pay for my order which was under $20 (plus mandatory tip) This needs to be on big signs and explained to customers prior to ordering. It's such a shady business practice... then they add automatic gratuity of 18% which is insane considering it's not a proper sit down restaurant. This whole experience was awful and I will not be back. I ordered the chicken biscuit ($11) with a side of cotija fries ($7) from the brunch menu. Both okay but very small portions I left immediately after this. I will never be comfortable supporting an establishment like this. read more

This one is a toughie. The staffs were really nice and the vibe was definitely there. BUT the food, omg no. I ordered wings (lemon pepper, habanera, and BBQ). I've never tasted anything so salty in my life and needing to drink so much water after a meal. The fries were decent but then they killed it with the mac & cheese, which was like a weird cheese soup noodle. Seriously one star for the live jazz band and one star for the staffs. I'm hoping it was just an off night for them and the kitchen went a little heavy on the salt. read more

This place hits every time honestly! We have ordered the brussel sprouts Togo before and they are amazing! This time we got the nachos, fried chicken sandwich, wings and fries! The nachos have beans, queso, tomato, lettuce, jalapeños and a green sauce on top - very good!! The wings are smoked and fried and I got 6 for $12 in Buffalo flavor - huge wings and delicious! Service is order at the bar and very quick- all the food was out in less than 15 minutes! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - seems dog friendly outdoors! read more

Amazing sports bar!! Great atmosphere, excellent food, and excellent staff. The sandwich I ordered was to die for, and the prices are reasonable. The smoked brisket pastrami had amazing flavor, portions were well balanced, and it sit very well in my system throughout the day. They do have happy hours throughout the week, great place to hang with friends before hitting the town. read more

I went in thinking I was just ordering a humble little side of fries and some pimento cheese. What I got felt more like a mini work of art. Perfect golden fries + creamy, tangy, magical pimento cheese = a love story I didn't know I needed in my life. The presentation? Gorgeous. The pairing? Genius. The result? Very chill brunch spot with amazing food. Wonderful experience! I ordered The Breakfast Burrito with smoked chicken. So delicious! The sauces that come on it are the perfect combination. Also enjoyed playing one of their board games, Taco vs. Burrito. Service and ambiance were great also. Such a great place and the vibe is great but what was amazing was the food! We forgot to take a picture so here is the remains. Highly recommend the burger even for someone that doesn't eat much beef - it was amazing with the jalapeño ranch. The catfish was delicious and spicy- highly recommend! The food was good, but not outstanding. This is a great place to do some work in the day or relax with friends at night. The service was excellent, everyone was so nice. There is free WiFi for guests, occasional live music, board games, table tennis, and comfortable seating. One unique thing about Industry is that they automatically charge 20% gratuity to support their staff. If you are able to tip that, it's great, however my chicken sandwich totaled at $17, without a drink or sides. If I were to come again, it would be for the bar, not for the food. Came here with some coworkers. Loved the ambiance! I've always loved the "industry look" and feel and they nailed it. They have both inside and outside seating with heaters and huge doors between the two areas. The staff is also nice. We were there for lunch and all of us loved the crispy Brussels sprouts. Highly recommend. Everyone also enjoyed the queso and chips. For meals, we had the burger, the bowl, and fish with sweet potato fries. The fish wasn't smothered with sauce like in the photos which was nice but I'm not sure if we asked for that. We paid like $3 for street parking and it was not packed at all on a Tuesday afternoon. Check their website because they had a stage, some games, and TVs - so they probably have events later in the day. read more

Industry provides a great spot for flavorful comfort food and a fun atmosphere. The smoked pork belly bites were tender and flavorful, with a slightly sweet touch. The bacon-braised green beans had a smoky punch, and the Industry CFC had crunchy yet tender fried chicken. The BBQ brisket salad was my favorite--smoky, refreshing, and perfectly dressed. The staff was friendly, and the venue has a lively vibe with plenty of seating and free table games. There's a rotating DJ on Fridays and added a fun energy. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming, upbeat, and very Austin--in the best way. Food highlights: The bites were ! Wagyu sliders - juicy, tender, and totally crave-worthy Chicken tacos - packed with flavor and the perfect amount of kick Veggie sando - surprisingly hearty and SO good Nachos - perfectly balanced with cheesy goodness and fresh toppings Street corn - creamy, tangy, and gone way too fast Drinks: Signature cocktails were on point--refreshing, well-balanced, and served quickly (no long waits at the bar = win). Atmosphere: Industry is the perfect venue. Spacious layout, great indoor/outdoor flow, and chill vibes all around. Even with a big crowd, it never felt packed or overwhelming. People: Loved connecting with other Elites--everyone was friendly and clearly there to enjoy good food, great convos, and community. The Yelp team made us feel super welcomed, and the Industry staff was amazing! Bonus: Cute photo ops and plenty of Insta-worthy moments without being over the top. Stopped in for a snack and a drink! Liberty is fun, outgoing and great at what she does! We had the chips with pimento cheese and OMG. Loved it! Brunch is also great with a good selection that is something I would go back for so I can keep trying everything! read more
