If you never tried Peruvian food, this would be your ideal restaraunt to try it. I've been here atleast 10 times during my lunch breaks... and I have yet to be disappointed. I would say their service is fairly good, not great. This is only due to the fact the food comes out a little longer than usual, maybe an average of 20 minutes? But other than that, they are quick with drinks, orders, free bread, etc. Now to talk about their food... LOMO SALTADO is a must. Although there isn't A LOT of meat I would wish for, the quantity and taste is superb. It's like tasting a bit of heaven. Probably good food but Ian never know! Paid a 100$ for a delivery on Uber eats they kept pushing the ETA 10 minutes at a time! So finally I called the restaurant 10 minutes after the original eta the guy said " you should call Uber because I have 3 orders not being picked up" to which I responded " Uber doesn't take calls from clients & you should do that since there are 2 other orders!" Any way he hangs up I call back 5 minutes later because the eta was pushed 25 minutes he leaves me on the phone & goes away for 23 minutes. At that point I was able to get a hold of the Uber driver who had more sense. When she got to the restaurant he hung up on me so I called him a third time & explained that all he had to dud is be helpful & understanding I had my 7 yrs old starving & asking for food from 7:30 pm! Also I told him that my food has been sitting on his counter since about 7:45 pm & he should have had refire it instead of sending me cold food & his response was do you want me to warm it up? This is the spot. Been all around OC and this is the best Peruvian spot I have found. The Pollo Saltado is by far the best flavored dish around. They recently changed the dish from full chunks of Tomatoes To diced tomatoes which is awesome and much better then before. The Chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned. Paired with the white rice and fries it's a filling dish. If you enjoy a little bit of spice I highly recommend the Gringo Sauce with bread. I will typically get 2 orders of bread it's just that good. They have 2 smooth tasting beers that pair nicely with this type of food. I prefer the Cusqueña when they have it in otherwise the Cristal is also quite nice. I Wish I could tell you more items but the Saltado is the main reason we stop in here. I've been wanting to come here for a while and finally got the chance to try it because nearby Uoko was closed (forgot to check Yelp for hours, oops!). The interior design resembles a quaint Spanish / Peruvian village. Its furniture, while a little bit antiquated, was comfortable and made for a cozy dinner. The food is authentic and tasty. My family ordered the ceviche as an appetizer, saltado with beef, and paella and split them family-style. The ceviche came first. The lemon and onion flavors were present and strong, but not overpowering. The fish was notably fresh, so this dish gets an A+. The saltado and paella came together. The saltado was delectable, though I wouldn't say particularly noteworthy. The mouthwatering paella was chock full of subtle flavors, and I would say that was my favorite dish of the whole evening! My only concern is the size of the portions for the price. Even in pricy San Francisco, I was able to eat about the same amount of Peruvian food for about 2/3 of the price. I would have been more satisfied if the paella included more seafood and the ceviche a bit more fish! read more

Really good food and amazing service...we stopped by after being turned away by another restaurant that decided to close early, a huge pet peeve of mine, if I took the time to drive to your establishment within your displayed (online and on the front door) hours of operation, don't turn me away. Anyway, Inka Grill was also "closed" but they invited us in anyway, took our order, offered us drinks at no charge while we waited, and sent us on our way with great food...THAT'S a business that appreciates it's customers. I do not know much about Peruvian cuisine, but I know I always get the Chicken Milanesa. It's a thin piece of chicken that's lightly breaded and season and then fried. I usually have mine over the spinach and basil pasta because that's what I have once had with a Peruvian friend. So there fore I ordered that here again. You are served bread with butter when you sit down so don't fill up on it much as the portion here is pretty good. The Milanesa came out on a steal tray and it looked pretty tasty. I poured some Parmesan and that magical green sauce that you always find in a Peruvian cuisine. Make sure to try your dish first before you do all that because the green sauce has a little kick to it. The chicken was very tender and had a crispy exterior just as it should be. The pasta was good but I should have requested a little more Al Dente but either way the flavor and the balance of everything was excellent. read more

This is my first time having Peruvian food and it was delicious! I came here with a big group of friends and we had a great time. My friend was the one that recommended this place since he used to live in the OC. He mentioned how he always craved for their paella and that's exactly what half our group had ordered. I opted for something different. I love lamb. So I got the Lamb Stew which also came with rice and beans. I think the dish could have done without the beans and substituted that for more rice or used a different side instead of the beans. It made the dish too filling. The lamb itself was tender and flavorful. We also ordered two pitchers of sangria, one white and one red. I think the red sangria was a lot better than the white. The service was good. Our waitress was really pretty and helpful with whatever we needed. This place is in a pretty outdated plaza, but don't be discouraged from its facade, this place is worth trying. Inka Grill made me a fan of Peruvian food now. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon since they don't have any locations in the LA area, but if you are in the OC area, try it--this place has great food! read more

Parking in this plaza is THE WORST since construction started... hopefully it will improve after they are finished... I came here for lunch yesterday and was impressed. It was my first time trying peruvian food. This place was very busy during lunch. They give you a free bread basket and I recommend the bread with the green aji sauce on the table. It is creamy and spicy! It was so delicoius I could have eaten the whole basket by myself... but I was dining with a friend so I had to control myself. Chicken Saltado - Very good! The chicken was a little dry but it was very flavorful. I usually am not a big fan of red onions, but I could not stop eating everything on my plate! I would try to subsitute the rice for veggies next time though... since there fries in the chicken saltado. There is an option to substitute green beans or broccoli for the fries... but I love fries. I can do without rice. My friend had the Chicken Milanesa, it was also very good! It comes with deep fried banana. It was a good combination. The restaurant was almost completely empty, with one table leaving and only us and a table for 3 i the entire restaurant. I ordered the paella, I specifically only said paella because there was also an option for chicken paella, i ended up with the chicken paella. In the end they did offer flan for the birthday boy, but the flan was rather hard, I've had a lot flan and it has never been that way before, we didn't even finish it.
