I like this place. It's cute. It's hip modern. Or Desert modern like people call it. The food is a bit more "gourmet" than a regular Mexican restaurant. I like my birria tacos , I've been here before, and I remember them being small... but I forgot HOW small. Like VERY small. They were delicious and I forgot to tell them ... no melted cheese ( oh well .. my fault ) The other thing ? Their tap water tastes weird like metal or something metallic .. I don't understand why

Love this place! We went for street tacos and margaritas tonight. Excellent! I had the Mecca margarita. We enjoyed the shrimp , chicken, carne asada tacos. Happy Hour everyday 2-5pm. Nice indoor dining and large patio area dining. They do weekend brunch too. The staff are great. Mariana made some good suggestions. Very nice. Great service.

Wow. The food was soooooo good. I'm really surprised with the veggie and vegan options they have on their menu. Both dishes we ordered were super flavorful, savory, and tasty! We ordered the chips, guac & salsa, veggie enchiladas, and chicken & veggie tacos. I have no complaints! The service was friendly and kind. The ambiance inside was modern and desert vibes. I would definitely come back again to try more of their dishes. Thank you so much :)

Amazing! Delicious! Friendly! Cozy! I was looking for something different and boy did I find it. Now anytime I'm in town, I know where I'll be dining. I was taken care of by Francisco and another server that I did not get her name. They were both great and had excellent recommendations that were so good. I had a prickly pear margarita that was so good I could have had a few but thankfully didn't! I had the Brussel sprouts corn mix and dear lord, so good. I begged for the recipe but they wouldn't give it up. For my entree I had the trio ceviche in tamarindo sauce. Good lord it was so fresh and had an amazing spicy kick to it that got my sinuses moving! You must try it all!

Good, very unique tacos. Loved the corn mix. I ordered both the cauliflower and the Brussels sprouts options. And I think the cauliflower was better because the Brussels were very stringy and had a texture that distracted from the corn mix. The waiter forgot my husbands soup and we didn't notice until we we got the check and he was able to remove it off the bill. It's very much tucked away in the plaza but still a nice spot worth trying.

The food was so good, I can't remember the last time I cleaned my plate. I almost licked my plate. It was so delicious. I really enjoyed the vegetarian enchiladas, the tofu and the vegetables were very well seasoned. The cheese and the sauce that they put on the enchiladas is chef's kiss. The beans and rice were very well seasoned and had a lot of flavor. No notes!

The cutest little restaurant! The staff was very friendly & attentive! Came for lunch & ordered their street taco lunch special. The portion size was perfect for lunch. The tacos were so good!! The birria was flavorful and tender, and the shrimp was so fresh. Didn't get any drinks but they looked so good. Great place for lunch!

Great happy hour! Service is fast and food was delicious. Plenty of parking and the patio seating is well shaded.

Came here with a friend for a late lunch/early happy hour (happy hour menu is 2-5pm) and enjoyed excellent tacos, cocktails and very friendly service. Started with the Whitewater river margarita which is a more refreshing version of the classic with some cucumber, mint, and lemon additions to the zesty lime. It's one of the happy hour. Drinks are definitely recommended! The Paloma was wonderful and refreshing as well. We were able to get seated immediately and orders for drinks and chips and salsa were in and prepared quickly. The presentation of drinks and food are both matching the upscale but accessible vibe that's going on. The restaurant is thoughtfully designed with a nod to the desert in the wall, coverings and tile, but with some Mexican flare. We tried 5 tacos and LOVED each one. It is impossible to pick a favorite, but we both ordered the Asada and said "yummm" at the same time. I had the Birria and Grilled shrimp tacos, and my friend let me taste a bit of the carnitas and al pastor. Each taco is served on a warm crispy (but not too crispy) corn tortilla. These are street tacos that do not break when you eat them which makes it a nice handheld bite. We literally couldn't pick a favorite but agreed the carnitas, (both Birria and asada), and shrimp would be our regulars (why choose 1!?) but the pastor was not quite as much of a front runner. Tacos come with nice garnishing and small sides of salsa, depending on the type of taco. We both really enjoyed both the green salsa verde and the roja. Looking forward to coming back and trying other entrées on the menu, I wish that I had found this place sooner!

I met my girlfriend here for happy hour. I love this location buried in the back of the smoketree ranch shopping center. We both ordered the tacos and had one of each of the four different selections. All were amazing. Great happy hour. Very tasty food at the right price..

Great delicious tacos and friendly service. They were serving during the Backstreet Art District artwalk every first Wednesday.

I've been to Low Desert a few times and every time I come, the food is fresh and delicious, service is friendly, and the ambiance is nice and clean. Today was no exception.

FACILITY: Small, limited seating indoors with very nice, fun, outdoor seating areas. Love this place. MENU: Simple, easy to understand, great photos online if you have any questions. FOOD PREP: Very well done, like professional in just how it looks. FOOD QUALITY: Professional in how it also tastes... Watermelon Gazpacho was perfect with drinks prior to main. OVERALL VALUE: Good, but it is Palm Springs, outdoors, great locations, classy.. no, not inexpensive but well worth it. TIP: I'd say be nice, be patient, and you will get a table. Don't be an angry rude touron, we don't need that vibe and we see some of that in PS.. You can try for reservations, not sure if they take off season.

This meant Marilyns everywhere, including the waiters, which made the experience that much more fun. Aside from that, we had made reservations ahead of time thankfully, because it was BUSY. But we were sat just as soon as we had arrived, and despite it being very hot out at the time, they had a bunch of shaded spots with misting fans. The drinks were fantastic, including mine which was a zero-proof mocktail. We all ordered different chicken dishes, and each one received high praise. I was able to try each of them and I was very happy with my fajitas, but I gotta give the nachos their dues. They were just as good. Chips were crispy all the way through, and not one was soggy from all the ingredients. Loved it, will definitely be back when I visit again. Id also like to mention that we chose this place as my friend's Bachelor Party closing dinner, and he couldn't have been happier. He was so thrilled with how the weekend had gone, that dining at Clandestino's really was the cherry on top. Thank you for making our dining experience such a pleasant one.

It caught our attention as we had stayed in two different Kimpton Hotels in Seattle prior. We wanted to grab a drink at the Window Bar (not knowing that was its actual name, but the conversation we had with the bartender about that window shining too much light at certain parts of the morning definitely gave me a chuckle in hindsight). We happened to be a bit early since he had not been able to finish setting up shop yet. We went ahead and waited until he was ready without rushing him because we ourselves weren't in any rush at all. Surrounded by a ton of nice interesting artwork, it was a pure joy to enjoy a drink or two in this environment. The bar can be found at the corner on the other side of the hotel concierge in plain sight from such a big space for a lobby, directly left upon entrance through the front. Since it was slow in the morning, we were able to chat it up with the bartender and even explore a bit of experimentation in the form of a particular top secret cocktail that every mixologist knows. I definitely exercised my etiquette and reading the conditions to even suggest it. He couldn't be any nicer about our time with him. So yeah, Christopher H. from 9/9/18, I don't know what you're talking about. I make it a point to visit the bar at any Kimpton location nowadays. I always seem to have a good time. But then again, I can only speak for myself. Parking: Street, unless you're a guest at the hotel. FYI: - Despite the hours on Yelp saying this place is open from 4-10pm, they might open earlier, as we joined in at around 11am or noon. But don't hold me to it. If there's somebody at the bar, you'll need to simply ask if it is open yet.

We were immediately whisked away into a night of unrivaled service and culinary perfection. Tucked away in one of Palm Springs' most charming shopping plazas, this meal was easily the highlight of my week. The menu is brilliantly varied, but a few dishes truly stole the show. The grilled artichoke is a classic, but their execution of it is completely elite. The Halibut main was a revelation--hands down the best I've ever tasted. And you must save room for dessert because the Berries and Cream was worth every single bite. Absolutely delectable. Reservations are notoriously hard to get, but we got lucky with a last-minute walk-in and were seated after 15-20 min wait. There's plenty of parking, and if you do have to wait, they have a cute little covered outdoor seating area with chairs and tables where you can relax. We sat on the patio, which was surprisingly cool and comfortable, so don't let the Palm Springs heat scare you away. The whole restaurant has such a sexy, colorful, candlelit vibe that somehow feels both lively and intimate. We kept the drinks simple and ordered Hugo Spritzes, which were refreshing and perfectly made for a hot afternoon. What we ordered: * Caramelized Onion Tart (Puff pastry, chive, Comté) - This was recommended by our server and I can see why. It reminded me of French onion soup wrapped in a flaky puff pastry. Rich, savory, and definitely shareable since it is a bit on the heavier side. * Red Thai Curry Mussels (PEI mussels, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, red chile, coconut milk) - WOW. This was hands down my favorite dish. The broth was incredible, rich and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. I was worried the lemongrass might overpower everything, but it was perfectly balanced. It comes with toasted bread and trust me, you'll want every last drop of that broth. I'd honestly come back just for this dish. * Steak Frites - The steak was cooked perfectly medium and was delicious. The fries were crispy and seasoned well, making it a classic done right. * Broccolini - Simple but really good with a nice char that added great flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The atmosphere is one of the best parts..beautiful, moody, and full of personality..but the food absolutely held its own. Service was friendly, the patio was comfortable, and now I completely understand why it's one of Palm Springs' hardest reservations to get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.
