Delicious food. Service was friendly. The location was perfect! The portions were huge! It was family friendly too.

First of all (tapping mic) let me tell you about Evan... this young Man impressed me so much with his easy-going demeanor at the table, attentiveness and knowledge of the entrees as well. We were here on Monday 7.8.24 on a hot summer day but the air in Inn on the Blues was KICKING so much so I had to run and get sweatshirts (from the multitude of gift shops) for the little ones. Fisherman Basket with fried scallops, cod, shrimp and clams (YES with the bellies pfft I'm a New Englander after all) lightly breaded and so fresh. You'll need to ask for cocktail sauce if you would like to dip your shrimp in some. Little Bit had the philly cheese steak, I think it was good and my Son-in-law had the Atomic burger which he cleaned the plate so that is always a good sign, those onion rings were the bomb-diggity too! The grandkids devoured there food as well Kai especially liked the Pasta with plain butter and Khaleesi kept talking about the brioche bun for her burger A+A+A+. Those Crab Cakes with the Aioli is an ABSOLUTE must! Crust was crunchy and the meat inside was delicate and sweet just the right seasoning. LOVED this dish the most. View is awesome the music was upbeat and there was plenty of room for groups of 8-10 people. Full bar and we ordered shots to begin... because WHY NOT? it was our last full day of vacation! Located right on the main street and parking is across the street (if you are lucky to find it during the summer rush) I believe there is also parking around back towards the Zoo. Cheap it was not however, I wouldn't hesitate to visit again just for those crab cakes. Respectfully Reviewed.

It was a long hot day at home and we decided to hit York Beach for a comfortable evening. Only to arrive and to fog and rain. Walking around we decided to try some place new and hit Inn On the Blues. The staff was super friendly and we got a nice high top near the bar area. The place was as very spacious (we thought) and comfortable with table tops outdoor seating and booth seating options. The menu was diverse and provided us with options. If you were on a date or a group you all should be able to find something to eat. They have a stage for various performances but we did not stay that late to hear. Again the high top was a nice seating option until this group of 6 came to the bar to order drinks while waiting for upstairs seating. Two of women decided to use our high top as a leaning post while we ate. Completely oblivious that her hair was hanging over our table. We finished and left. Staff again was fantastic and the meal was great. A staff member did come by, maybe the manager and apologized for the lady. He did not know her but someone from the group. It was fine but would have stayed a bit longer to listen to the music. All good.

A two top table on the second floor

Our experience started off with my husband, politely asking for a table upstairs. The hostess snapped there's no tables available. To which my husband responded I saw plenty from theStreet. She then proceeds to tell us that they are all four top and because we are only two people we have to have another person to sit there. We say fine and she gives us a table outside downstairs .We look at the menus we decide what we're going to drink and eat and proceed to watch every waiter and waitress walk by us as the hostess is avoiding eye contact. We look around and the restaurant is half empty. We waited a good 15 minutes with everybody ignoring us, we decided to get up and leave. To which we look upstairs and there are still plenty of four Tops available an a nice two top right in the corner. I understand. It's the end of the season and everybody is tired but if you don't wanna work, just stay home. As a business owner, I find this unacceptable and you lost out on our business and we are exceptionally good tippers. Word of mouth means alot qnd we will not recommend your restaurant to anyone.

Decent food, nice environment and the servers were quite sweet to us. Quite pricey for fried foods and a little pricey for the other food considering the quantity but all in all still a nice place to eat.

Out for a Sunday drive my husband and I decided to stop for lunch in York. The beach area was busy as would be expected for mid-August. We were able to be seat immediately and on the second floor with a beach view! We ordered drinks and food. I had a double Bloody Mary which was very good. I had the bacon Blue burger and husband had the mushroom Swiss burger. Both were very good. Service was OK nothing to write home about. Would return.

Great food, fun atmosphere, and very strong drinks! Staying at the inn for my honeymoon.

No big deal, I was a party of one, and they were quite busy on the Saturday night that I went. Service is impeccable, really no complaints there. The food came out fast, even though they were quite busy. The food was great as well, though I wasn't a particularly big fan of the wood-fired beets (if you like horseradish on beet, you would like them). Fried oysters were great, I mean really good. Spaghetti with guanciale is absolutely incredible; key lime pie similarly amazing. Overall, I'll be back here. Plan to spend at least $50 per person. What a great location.

Choice for Dinner, skip the Holidays…read more We came here once before and had a really good experience, which is why we decided to book a 2:00 PM reservation to celebrate Mother's Day. We understood it would be a limited holiday brunch menu instead of the regular dinner menu, which was fine. However, by the time we sat down to order, almost all of the options were already sold out. Our entire table basically had to order the exact same thing because there was nothing else left. The space is lovely and it's a nice spot for a regular dinner, but they were definitely not equipped for the holiday rush. Don't go for Mother's Day.

We arrived and sat at a picnic table with an umbrella so our pup could be in the shade. We were having a great time, so excited to be there and amped to try their current taps. Just as our apps were being brought out, a gust of wind lifted the umbrella clear out of the table, spilling my wife's drink and sending the heavy metal umbrella pole directly into my face and chest HARD. My wife, the server, and I were all stunned for a moment. Wife thought I was bleeding until we realized it was rust on my face and chest from the pole. Server asked if I was okay, clearly feeling a little awkward, and with my hand to my face I said "I think so? If I'm not bleeding, I guess?, still totally stunned and feeling some pain. Face throbbing, my wife asked for an ice pack, and the server brought us one. We totally understand that it was a freak accident, and that it wasn't our server's fault. But it got awkward from there as the crew working became avoidant. The girl that sat us saw me teary eyed from the pain, holding the ice pack to my face and asked if we were okay... but that was it. The atmosphere quickly became awkward, and considering the pain I was in combined with feeling totally weird from the staff, we asked for a box to take our uneaten food to go. Server brought our check and we were a little surprised to see that we were still charged for the drinks (one of which had spilled because of the umbrella) and the food. We paid cash, still left a nice tip, and left, wanting to get out of the sun and keep an eye on the swelling. We were really disappointed in how the situation was handled by the crew. We weren't looking for our apps to be comped, but it would have been nice for a manager to come by, apologize, offer to refill my wife's beer, and maybe move us to a different table since we were no longer in the shade. The team didn't go around and check the other tables to make sure the umbrellas were safe and secure, either, which was shocking considering what had just happened. We were really looking forward to hanging out, trying a little bit of everything off the menu, buying some cans or growlers to take home... but we left with a swollen, bruised face and chest and an uneaten $90 box of food that we ended up tossing because the mood was completely ruined. We rarely leave a negative review anywhere, but I guess this is just a PSA to check your picnic table umbrella if you sit outside, and hopefully a learning opportunity for management in how to improve customer service and safety for patrons.

So I looked them up and saw the adult happy meal on the menu and knew I had to try them. An hour and half drive was 100000% worth it!!! The entire building is small but feels very inviting and comfortable. The atmosphere is iconic with out of this world 90s cartoons painted on the walls. Even the bathroom had a touch of this nostalgia and whimsy (trust me look in the bathroom mirror for an amazing little touch). The staff were equally amazing and truly wonderful. I am currently pregnant and being very careful about what I eat so my husband asked the bartender/waiter if the feta is pasteurized. Most people would have simply said I don't know and moved on but this fellow went and asked the kitchen if the feta is pasteurized (it is). It's little things like that that make us want to go back. Now on to the star the food and drink! We had the soft pretzel which comes with beer cheese and stone ground honey mustard and the fried feta. The pretzel was great and the beer cheese was also great but the feta was indescribable. Every aspect of the feta was perfect and a true umami experience. I got the adult happy meal (a smash burger, chicken nuggets, and fries). It also comes with a toy which is just cherry on top status. The burger was fantastic BUT the fries and nuggets were crazy good. My husband got Flo's Double Burger and he had eaten half of it before I got mine out of the box. He would have eaten two of them if he wasn't so full! He also got the I gotta say... today was a good day sour ale. He loved it and enjoyed it enough we left with a four pack! This is the perfect Maine hidden gem and we will be back soon!
