Cute coffee shop around the corner! I love how spacious it is indoors and out. Great to work at, does have limited outlets for charging. Lots of tables indoor and outdoor. Their lattes and teas are great. I mostly come here during my afternoon walk and get one of their iced teas to give me a little kick for the second half of the day. Tropical green tea is sooo good , sweet caffeinated treat for a good pick me up.

Food: Very average and nothing special. Bread tasted like store bought although their pickled onions were tasty. However, there wasn't anything special to it, like a sauce that would differentiate it from others. Service: Friendly and kind staff. Atmosphere: Both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice. Indoor was a bit quiet.

First time trying it here and honestly I'm surprised I haven't tried it already since it's nearby where I live. The food was good , I like how they kind of toasted the Hawaiian buns too. I love the ambience of this place and while you wait for your food and coffee! You can play board games. The chairs were incredibly comfortable, and the service was great as we asked for recommendations for being our first time, it did not disappoint! Will look forward to going again soon !

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Any time I consider trying something else in the Golden Hill/South Park/East Village area for breakfast, I always end up regretting having not just gone to Intazza again. It never fails. The coffee and matcha hits the spot every time. The menu is vast and incredibly customizable. You could go a year ordering different items/variations without hitting half of their menu. And it's not like one of those places that try to do too much only for each plate to be sub-par...every dish I've had here has been amazing. The location itself and the building design is so inviting and modern. A perfect place to catch up with friends, take someone for their first time, study or play some board games while you eat. The staff! Always so friendly and smiley. They make you feel like a 'regular' even if they don't actually recognize you. Just that warm welcome in every time that makes you feel appreciated for being there.

Great local place for iced lattes and iced coffees Quick service considering they can get pretty busy. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. With a couch inside and high and low tables. Something for everyone when it comes to seating! They have a decent size menu with many items to choose from. Some of our go to's are: Good Morning America- bfast sandwhich with eggs and bacon, very good and filling served on a bun Veggie Scramble- nice, veggie scramble with cheese, onions and tomatoes served with potatoes Berry Ricotta Toast- a nice change of pace, love the basil, ricotta with fruit combo. East Coast Bagel- i think this was a summer special, similar to good mornign america but on a bagel I love how open and airy this place is. Even though it's located in GH, I've never seen it overly busy which is perfect for those weekend days when you can a slower, chill vibe.

I forget what this is, but it has soyrizo, and other stuff.

Great little spot for coffee and a bite to eat. Parking can be tough, very dog friendly. The staff is so accommodating. Come out for breakfast!

Came here for a chisme date with my girly and it was a nice experience. Went on a Wednesday late morning; for brunch. There were people but it wasn't packed and there's plenty of seating, outside and inside. The ambiance is nice, very open air style. The service was good, the food was brought out quick. I got the sweet Hawaiian roll sliders and they were delicious. They were not greasy or heavy, they tasted so good but in a light way. I also ordered a cold brew and it was good. The prices are reasonable, my meal was $21.25 Food:**** Service:**** Ambiance:**** Price:$$

Stopped by this coffee shop in Golden Hill looking for an acai bowl and place to take a call. Plenty of space to sit down to have a chat or study, also some picnic bench seating out front. Acai bowl was tasty and had freshly sliced fruit toppings. Service was relatively quick, would have just liked to see one more person taking orders to service the line.

Five stars because there is no reason to dock it any stars. This seems more of a study spot than a conversation spot, it felt a little library-ish. Great space for working on things. A lot of space, clean, accessible, etc! They have a creative menu. My matcha latte and avocado toast had good flavor.

Coffee was amazing! I ordered the caffe Carmello bc I have a sweet tooth and it def hit the spot. I Ordered it over ice! The price was reasonable and worth it! It was our first time here coming from LA! It looks like a local coffee spot for those who live in the area. They have outdoor seating and they welcome dogs! Such a plus! Service was nice as well! I enjoyed coming to this joint today. I don't believe they have a parking lot specifically for the shop but there are lots of street parking

I thought I was ordering just a pecan honey flavored cream cheese - but it turns out it was a bagel with cream cheese, literal honey, and literal pecans on top. And you know what - it was amazing! Can wait to try their other bagels!

Immuno-Latte (Ginger, turmeric, cayenne, cinnamon, honey, espresso, milk)

Surprisingly spacious local gem of a coffee and food spot!! Menu: they have breakfast bagels, burritos, and plates. The menu is extensive without being overwhelming. Love that they have a Kids Menu too. I got the Works Burrito. I thought the price was a bit steep ($16.99 not including tax) but overall WORTH IT. Lots of goodness packed in this burrito--crispy bacon, potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage, tomato, onion, avocado, oh my!! Salsa on the side. It's NICE. Coffee didn't disappoint. If you get the Immuno-latte, it's exactly what it sounds like. It was good but I would come back and try something else! Space: tables, chairs, free wi-fi, spacious, clean!! It's surprising for South Park. Came here on a Monday and it was not packed. Street parking can be tough depending on events in the city and time of day, but we found a spot in a few minutes. Shout out to Aleia for great service & recommendations! I would definitely come back and recommend to locals and visitors alike!!

Books & Records Delivers Live Jazz, Standout Cocktails, and Exceptional Happy Hour Bites…read moreAs a fan of Common Stock, expectations were high for its Bankers Hill sister spot, Books & Records--and it easily delivered. The moment you step inside, the bi-level space makes a striking impression with its mid-century accents, exposed brick, and warm, moody lighting. It manages to balance a lively, energetic atmosphere with an effortless chicness that feels tailored for a memorable night out. The happy hour here is an absolute standout, featuring an expansive array of creative food options and crafted drinks. The menu brings an inventive Asian fusion twist to bar bites, offering flavor-forward small plates that pair seamlessly with the beverage program. The drinks deserve equal applause: the craft cocktails are meticulously balanced, and the signature ube-inspired cocktails are as vibrant and distinct as they are delicious. Adding to the venue's overall charm is the live music program. Catching live jazz, soul, and blues sets elevates the entire experience from a simple dinner run into a full sensory event. The music creates a vibrant, soulful backdrop without overpowering table conversation, striking just the right rhythm for intimate catch-ups or energetic group gatherings. Whether you are dropping in for a quick drink, indulging in a multi-dish happy hour spread, or lingering late for the live tunes and exceptional cocktails, Books & Records captures everything that makes CS Hospitality's concepts so special. It is a stylish, fun, and flavorful addition to San Diego's dining scene.

It was very great hospitality. Our waiter was very helpful and check in on us quite often. The service was Superb. Now the food, we went on a Wednesday which they have Happy Hour all day. We ordered The Record Room Burger which came with Fries. This was very tasty. The fries were excellent. I tried one of my friend's dishes which was the Lamb Meatballs and that was amazing. Sadly, the B&R Mac n Cheese did not do it for me. It was missing seasoning and the flakes tasted stale. The staff did give us salt & pepper to jazz it up which did help. Regardless of the mac n cheese, I really enjoyed this place. The red wine was perfection. Overall it was a great experience and I gotta go back to check out other food items.

So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.
