What a wonderful discovery of a true coffee shop :) We were in town for the weekend, away from our usual spots and took a chance on this spot. I must say when your use to your regular spots, you have in mind a certain standard.. This place had surpassed every benchmark possible. Ordered: iced vanilla latte, avocado toast and salmon toast The coffee was creamy, rich yet still the coffee notes were prevalent and not hidden in 'fake sugars' - delicious! Both toasts were also filling, as they were not shy with the toppings. Very generous portions and perfect meals to start the day. Already missing the coffee from here but feel that it is so good I would make sure in the future to make a point to stop here to or from SD. Thanks guys! read more

Super cool little coffee shop in the same parking lot as the train station! Very random location but great outside seating area and free wifi. Their regular coffee is Lavazza - which I love. I had an iced mocha today which the barista recommended. Light on the chocolate and it was perfect! Rich but not too sweet! We also sampled the Crema Café which is INSANLEY good! It's basically frozen coffee ice cream and you can add Nutella if you want. In the summer this will be my afternoon go to! My mouth is watering as I type this just thinking about it... My sister and I visited for the first time yesterday December 7, 2021. I was visiting from out of state and on my way to the airport we decided to stop for breakfast and coffee. My sister ordered the peppermint mocha and I had the breakfast egg croissant and asked if they made "flat whites". They quickly said yes and I was thrilled because it wasn't on their menu. Well I am so pleased to report that the vanilla flat white I ordered was truly the best I have ever had! Smooth, not to sweet it was PERFECT! My sandwich was so delicious and fresh! I am sad they do not have one near me in Texas but I look forward to coming back when I'm there. My sister is already talking about who she is going to take over there to have coffee! This is a great small business to support with friendly staff that treats you like they are happy you are there! read more

Coffee here was great! They have some limited food options for breakfast and they were good. My husbands iced latte was made with sweetener without him asking for any, so beware and make sure they don't put any if you don't want it when you order a latte. I came to Carlsbad for vacation and stumbled upon Invita and IM SO GLAD I DID! My favorite items on the menu were the Lox toast and their matcha latte. I tried all the toasts on the menu and the Lox was TO DIE FOR. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Don't get me wrong the avocado toast as well as the others were good too, however I find the Lox toast to be more unique and better. As for drinks, I tried their vanilla latte, white mocha and matcha latte. The matcha latte was by far my favorite, just the right amount of sweetness and milk. A close second was the vanilla latte. All the staff I met were super kind and friendly and the venue was pretty. My only complaint was that it closed at 3, and I think this would be a perfect place for people to come in the afternoon and study/do their work. read more

I was honestly really bummed with my experience here. I spent $25 for a small matcha latte, a small drip coffee, and a caprese sandwich. The caprese sandwich was $9 and it was VERY disappointing. I assumed it'd come on focaccia or a nice crusty bread, but it came on some super basic, processed wheat bread (think Wonderbread). It was also supposed to come with pesto on it, but didn't. Literally just tomatoes, mozzarella, and a little balsamic on some soggy Wonderbread for $9. The drip coffee we received was ROOM TEMP, like it was sitting out all day. Luckily they made a fresh pot when we told them, but it was definitely a little weird that they didn't notice the coffee wasn't even steaming when they poured it. I gave an extra star because they were quick to correct this. I really wanted to love this place but I feel like I totally wasted $25. Good spot but they need to fix their rewards program. You get 1 credit per visit not per coffee purchased. That means you could buy 4 coffees (like I did) and get 1 credit. I suppose you could buy one coffee, walk out, come back in and buy another and get 2 credits? Or you could just buy the cheapest thing they sell 7 different times and get a free coffee? The decor here is pretty chic hipster which goes along with the millennial vibe of the coworking space it neighbors. The coffee choices are average and the quality is nice but not spectacular. If you really, really love coffee, this place is worth going out of your way to find. It's in a funky live/work complex, tucked back in one corner. Service was super friendly, like I came there every day and they knew me (even though this was my first time). They have a small selection of pastries and sandwiches, but this place is about coffee. I had the most intense cold brew coffee I've ever had, and my friend who had a mocha said her drink was very coffee centric compared to some places where it's more a sweet, chocolaty drink. I've been to quite a few coffee shops and have never heard of 4 shots in a medium drink. Asked to get something else and instead of saying they'd remake it to my desire, like most places. This place is adorable and the coffee is good but this review is mostly for the girl who was working this morning. I found out her name is Gabriella!! I ordered a vanilla latte, she made it for me, I took a sip, and realized I had forgotten to get coconut milk. I cannot have dairy because I'm nursing a baby who is sensitive to dairy. I felt so bad but I told her it was my fault and I forgot to ask for coconut milk. She immediately (totally unnecessarily as it was my fault) apologized and made me a new one. Wow, made a special trip to Invita this morning to have coffee with a friend. When we walked up one of the employees was literally sitting on top of the service counter. I asked if she should be doing that and she replied that they do it when customers aren't around. I also inquired about masks and gloves that were not being worn and was told that they aren't required because the place is considered an outdoor venue. My one star is solely based on the fact that not one of the 3 employees working today was wearing a mask or was at all concerned for any health or safety guidelines applicable to food service businesses at this time. Amazing! I came here for lunch on a Thursday and it was a real treat. I happen to be there the same time they were taking photos and it look like taking care of it advertising for their location. Very friendly staff. They informed me that this is the first of future locations around all of California, even Northern California!. The decor and setup of the places really cute and one of a kind. Rose gold everything! From lattes to tease to acai bowls to tri-tip steak, they offer quick bites in the Carlsbad area and have a great open space. I even believe for locals in the area they deliver. Being right near the train stop and in the residential area, parking can be challenging just be prepared to walk a little bit. This place is amazing! It's a hidden gem right by the train station, so not easy to find but worth it!! They use the finest quality ingredients, imported from Italy and the staff is very friendly. Nice little hidden gem. It's between a residential area and the train station so was just a little hidden. But was worth the find, with friendly staff and I was happy with my drink. I ordered a almond milk dirty chai and it was perfecto! I don't like super sweet chais and am so anal I asked to see the ingredients on the box of chai and it was low in sugar.
