We ordered fries, baby squash, pork belly, and finished with the cast-iron chocolate chip cookie with salted caramel gelato. Aperitif was the Pure Eyes (sativa) pre-rolls. The cannabis menu was decent but you can order anything that is available in the dispensary (considered "off-menu"). They do not charge for using the bong unlike other establishments. The air flow was excellent and the decor was immaculate. The restrooms were very clean and well taken care of. I can't say enough about the service. I have been to Irie a few times over the past year and always had a wonderful experience. When I went today to celebrate my birthday, I was really disappointed to find out that you could no longer consume cannabis in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. I miss what Irie was before the switch, the experience was so curated and relaxing, so to have the smoking lounge moved to a tiny room downstairs was upsetting. While the menu is still the same, the total experience was tainted. Bring back the old Irie! read more

However, the two downfalls we experienced were: 1) the waiter's memory; he forgot to input an order & the cups of ice we requested 2) their in-person menu is not the same as what you see online, which impacted our experience because we had our minds & tummies set on a certain meal based on the online menu. I went here for my wife's birthday, and it was amazing! They have a bar downstairs that we started at for cocktail hour since cannabis and alcohol have to be separate. This was perfect for when our friends who don't smoke could easily go down to the bar and have a drink. This place is very elevated with a great vibe and ambience. It was convenient to be able to pay for cannabis with a debit card so I didn't have to go to the ATM. We didn't know what to expect as far as the food goes, but it met everyone's expectations. I have two complaints, for being vegan, they need to offer a better entree, because a stuffed pepper with black eyed peas is not it. The Japanese sweet potato with the coconut yogurt was on point and so were the Brussels sprouts. Even a vegan cheese plate would be awesome to offer or vegan sliders or something. I'm not docking any stars because they have enough to offer. The staff were all incredible. I don't think I've met nicer staff. Our server (I'm so sad I didn't get his name) was incredible. I brought dessert in for my wife's birthday and he gave me a cake stand. It elevated the presentation, but the service was a little slow getting food out. At last, I will say as someone who doesn't drink, it's great to have a place to be social and smoke, and it not just a basic place where they only offer a bag of chips and a drink. My Partner and I chose to come to Irie for our Anniversary dinner. This place is perfect! From the slightly stone hostess, to the chill vibe and atmosphere, it was Amazing!!! We had reservations for 6 pm but it seems like you can walk in too. There were only about 4 other parties of guests when we arrived. It felt super intimate, which was perfect for the occasion. Now let's get to the cannabis, lol we had a super nice flight attendant, we ordered a 5 pack of heavy hitters raspberry cough. And a strawberry lemonade infused drink. Now the FOOD for starters we had the fries and meatballs. The fries were outstanding, the sauce that the meatballs were in was just delicious. For our mains, we ordered a the wagyu pizza, some broccolini, the lamb rigatoni and the stuffed pepper! Pizza was bomb!!! Could've used a lil more wagyu but it is what it is. The brocclini has an amazing sauce! Rigatoni was very delicious. The stuffed pepper was a nice spin on a stuffed bell pepper! We will def be going back to this place!!!! read more

I love this place. The food was delicious, the restaurant was BEAUTIFUL and being able to smoke a joint while eating is a total vibe. But what stood out to me was the service. True story: I was there for a 4 year roommate anniversary dinner. I went to the restrooms (all very beautiful, definitely check them out). I was wearing a dress with a zipper on the back, and that day the zipper decided to get stuck on the fabric and not work. This was at the beginning of the dinner so I was mortified about going back upstairs with my entire back out. I texted my friend to meet me in the bathroom to try to zip me up but she couldn't! One of the employees saw my face and asked me if I was okay, I told her what happened and she gave me a roach clip so try to keep my dress up! It worked for a bit. Our waiter noticed my frantic face and was SO kind and reassuring. I wish I could remember his name! My dress was still falling apart and I was slipping out, but one of the other employees asked me if I wanted to borrow a stapler. I quickly said yes! My friend stapled my dress closed in the middle of the dining room and the crisis was averted. I was able to enjoy the rest of my dinner with delicious food and good food! Moral of the story: this restaurant is beautiful, delicious, fun AND if you have a wardrobe malfunction- the staff will definitely help you out and make sure you feel comfortable!! read more

Well I was supposed to get a call from the manager last week but of course I was lied too. This place doesn't answer the calls and on certain days the don't have a weed runner (which I didn't find out till I got there ) no information in provided in the site and all the inconveniences we have to go through to smoke some weed at a restaurant. They charge if you BRInG you own weed so make sure the store down stairs is open . Of course when I went it wasn't and we had to leave .Over all VERy disappointed in the host for lying and over the restaurants lack of transparency with information. I must say I was impressed with my time at Hind/Irie on Saturday night. We started off at Hind for some cocktails since the law won't allow alcohol and cannabis in the same location. I'm not one for fancy cocktails, I'm a whiskey drinker, but I must say I experienced some interesting flavor combinations, and they were good. The bar tenders were very friendly and we had some great conversations. After, we went up to the restaurant where we had a reservation and we were seated right away. The cannaserver was very nice, explained the menu and how it worked, made some recommendations and within minutes our treats were delivered. Our food server, think it was Kyle, was amazing. Super friendly, attentive without over doing it, we talked food, ingredients, flavors amongst other topics. It was a busy Saturday night and we never felt like he didn't want to take the time with us. We started off with the ceviche, loved it. Super fresh yellowtail, no fish smell at all, nice chunks with perfect blend of citrus, acidity and a little heat from the Serrano chiles. Next we had the melt in your mouth pork belly. This not your fried with crunchy skin type. Slow cooked and served on a bed of polenta, excellent. We finished with the Schaner citrus salad. Wow, so good. Slices of Cara Cara, blood orange, satsuma mandarin, pepitas, olives with a tonnato dressing. All I can say is I went out today and bought the ingredients to try and make it myself. For dessert we had the cast iron choco chip cookie. They also gave us a brownie dessert for my wife's birthday. Lastly, when you walk in there is no smoke or heavy weed smell. We arrived 20 minutes before our dinner reservation and spent that time getting familiar with Pleasure Chest. This place literally has ALL the adult toys you've ever dreamed of! Walking into Irie for dinner you are met with lush greenery, a beautiful bar and very peaceful setting. From the time we sat down the service was impeccable. Maybe a bit over-serviced but this being only 5 weeks since opening made perfect sense. The wait staff was friendly and the Cannaseur took time to go over the cannabis menu and make suggestions as to what would enhance our meal. Sitting at our high end dinner table, smoking a joint with my best friend of 35 years cannot get any better. But it does! The food. So many kudos to the chef and his team. They could have rested on the laurels of the ambiance but they delivered top notch food. In a city where there are TOO many choices for good food, Irie really delivers. We started with the ceviche - flavorful, acidic and the fish was perfectly tender. Then had the next course of Caesar salad (the dandelion greens added a whole new level of delicious!) and the smashed butterballs. Now I figured the potatoes would come out smashed with the yummy black garlic and crème fraiche on top but no! This was an exquisite bowl of the best mashed potatoes you have ever had! Creamy, tangy, velvety, luscious! The next dish was the butternut squash ravioli. Expertly made with the nuttiest brown butter sauce and the pops of sage and pomegranate seeds added a pleasant surprise in each bite. All of this paired with El Blunto's White Widow Infused Blunt and the Secret Gardem Zero Proof Cocktail made with pineapple, celery, lemon & tonic. Pure perfection. My first time at Irie was really good and I was excited to go again. It was my friend's birthday yesterday so I recommended we come here since i had a great first time. We made our reservation for Hind on accident but they let us sit at the bar and we asked if they had a table open to let us know and if not, we were okay at the bar. about 5 minutes later the hostess said they had a table in their nice room and told my friend happy birthday and moved us. We were very excited to move but I wish we would've just stayed at the bar. The service was terrible. We ordered at around 7:30 and after 8:30 we still hadn't received our food. Our waitress never came around to fill our waters, I had to ask 3 other people to. We were able to order prerolls and started smoking one and got hungry and thirsty while waiting. This is all while the table next to us was getting their waters filled, food was coming out left and right for them. I felt bad that the service was so terrible and it was my friend's birthday so I got up and went to look for someone to help. The hostess brought the server over and she apologized and brought us one of our pizzas and another pizza that we didn't order that she said was on the house. The pizza wasn't good and at this point we were all upset and ready to leave. Then the manager came over and said there was a mix up with the food and apologized and said she would get us desserts and more food but i declined and said we really wanted to just pay for the one pizza we received so far and head out. A couple minutes later the manager told us that they were gonna cover everything and we could leave when we were ready.
