We have resided at Ironwood for 12 years now, and consider this our home, sweet home!!! What I love most about Ironwood is that it's located in a residential area which makes us feel safe. Recently, we had a leak coming from one of the bathtub pipes and when we reported it, it was addressed immediately and prioritized! I've never seen a group of people come together so fast in getting a leak repaired! Everyone worked in sync. It was absolutely Amazing! The staff and contractors worked hard to ensure the leak didn't cause extensive damage. Sabrina and Kayla kept us well informed of every entry that the contractors and maintenance needed to make. They were prompt, professional, thorough, and very respectful of our home. The staff and contractors even accommodated our work schedules to make sure we were home each time they needed to enter our unit. I'd like to give a shout out to, Nikko (maintenance) who quickly identified the problem, Sapna (property manager) who gave all the directives in getting the ball rolling, and Nikko, Kayla, and Sabrina for coordinating with maintenance and the contractors on scheduling the repairs. I'd also like to give a shout out to Caesar (maintenance) who prepped everything for the contractors. Everyone was absolutely Amazing, including the contractors! I am writing this to warn anyone considering moving to Ironwood Apartments. The management here, specifically Sapna Goel and Kayal Elizondo, are completely negligent and have zero regard for their residents. Recently, management authorized a tow of my vehicle from my assigned parking spot simply because of an expired tag. Here is why this is unacceptable: Prior Communication: We emailed management multiple times--both before we moved in and again six months later--explicitly informing them that this vehicle was non-operational (Non-Op). They had this information on file. Zero Warning: Despite having our contact information and our previous emails, they failed to send any courtesy notice or communication before authorizing the tow. Financial Impact: Because of their "hand-off" approach, the towing company charged $480 just to get the car back. With daily fees climbing, the cost would have reached $780. Forced Loss of Property: Because of these predatory costs and management's refusal to take responsibility for their lack of communication, we were forced to surrender our vehicle to the tow yard. It is heartbreaking to lose a car because management can't be bothered to check their emails or pick up the phone before calling a tow truck on their own paying residents. If you value your property and want management that actually communicates, look elsewhere. They will not support you; they will only cost you money. read more

I will say at the beginning it was great being here. We have lived here over a year and have had 2 different upstairs neighbors during that time. We live on a lower unit and the unit above ours is very loud. It was vacant when we initially moved in and I had no idea how loud it would be..it has ruined my impressions of living here as well as my faith in the management. It is very expensive and I hoped for better as we all pay for it. I wrote several emails and verbally communicated as well over the last year. It is Not the people doing anything wrong, just living. The noise level is insane. My kids and I can here walking, running, washing machine at all hours of the day and night. It is an old building so I understand to a degree. As I write this it is 10:30 at night and I can hear everything going on upstairs. Pounding, walking, squeaky floors. I realize it costs a lot of money to fix the floor but some help from management would be great...I was given the option of moving out or to a new unit.. after being here a year..Or talking to the neighbors , which I did. Two times. I was told it is up to my upstairs neighbor to let Ironwood fix the floor and they didn't see a problem. I try to be a really good tenant, pay rent early and in general be a good neighbor and renter. I am so disappointed by the lack of response from Kayla and the rest of the management. I toured ironwood and I was very clear to let the staff in the leasing office know I had no established credit! They still encouraged me to apply. (Knowing I wouldn't get approved) just to tell me I wasn't approved due to having no credit yet! They had me give them a $200 holding deposit and application fee. It's been over a month I have called them multiple times and have never got my holding deposit back. The day I got denied they said they would send the holding deposit back and it's been almost two months. I have called multiple times and they keep telling me different things! Today the woman who answered said she would give me a call back when she talks to the manager and to no surprise she never called back. It was a blessing in disguise! I love Livermore and this place is an "affordable" option here. It is well maintained in the outdoor areas. So far maintenance responds and fixes issues quickly. The inside of the apartment is just ok, what you'd expect of a small, older building. Biggest issue are loud upstair neighbors. I am 50/50 on feeling it isn't their fault since this place is built poorly and the other half feeling that they could be more considerate. Super thin walls, so we hear every single movement and LOUD. I can hear their conversations, it's that thin. Our neighbor in particular seems to care very little that someone lives below them. Their toddler is up late night, almost every night jumping and screaming (playing). It's as if he doesn't have a bed time, I'm talking 11 pm and we still hear him playing. They have THREE DOGS and live upstairs, insanity. Apartments should not allow dogs in upstairs units. The dogs frequently scratch at the floors and run around with zoomies I think. In the beginning, I liked Ironwood. It was a very serene place to live. My problem isn't the apartment; it's management. First of all, no one communicates. To move out, I had to give my notice to 3 different people. I was on a month-to-month lease and they tried to charge me a "lease breaking" fee. Finally, I got that sorted out by having a police officer go with me to the main office to discuss the issue. Apparently, the past office manager Cassandra Lonergan forged my signature (which was incorrect anyways) on a new lease that I had never seen. Part of me thinks that she didn't do that; they were probably using her as a scapegoat since she was no longer there. Now, it's been over a month since I moved out and I haven't heard anyway to pay the final utilities, I did not get the itemized list of "damages," and I still haven't received the rest of my security deposit. When I try to email or call Ironwood / Lynn Alexander, I get no reply. Whenever I happen to get a phone-call answer, I just get apologies about how they are so understaffed and no real solution. All in all, I miss the apartment (and Livermore!) but management is terrible. They blame it on lack of staff but they could at least acknowlege questions, especially when they say "Contact us!" Otherwise, what's the point of management? Buyer beware! read more

You should not, under any but the most dire circumstance, sign a lease at Ironwood. Here are some reasons why. Currently Ironwood has more than 25 two bedroom units coming available by the end of the year. There is good reason for this, it's because no one wants to stay here. By default, Ironwood will attempt to increase your rent 10% after your first lease term. Don't accept it, move elsewhere. After attempting to increase rent, property management had to drop it again because it was absolutely outside market range for the unit. But management doesn't care, they just hope you accept it, after all they have all the power. By default, management will charge you exorbitant cleaning fees for the smallest thing they can find after you leave. Just return the unit however you see fit, you won't see your deposit regardless. Upon move out office staff will claim they have sent you your deposit. They will not actually send you your deposit. Instead, you will be ghosted. Any attempt to talk to a person in the leasing office gets you someone with no power to do anything to help you. If you lease here, expect you will never see your deposit again, regardless of the state you leave the unit. If you attempt to talk to someone in their office to resolve an issue, you will get assurances it will be taken care of. It won't. It will be as if the conversation never happened. Staff will take notes, but the notes are for show. There is no record of any conversation ever happening in their office, and it means they can deny that you informed them of anything. Get it all in writing or it never happened. Office staff here are not retained, instead you can expect new staff about once every few months. They are perpetually short handed. I wonder why. Units have no central air or heat. Website descriptions say units have air conditioning. Air conditioning is a small unit in the front room that can't cool the back rooms, and stinks when you run it. Livermore gets hot. Units have a single natural gas heater on a wall, which can only heat the front room. Bedrooms have no heat. The heater is inefficient, so your gas bill will be astronomical in the winter, and you'll still be freezing in your bed at night. Flooring in the units may or may not have carpet, you won't know until you've seen your unit. Default flooring here is very cheap laminate flooring. It is incredibly hard to clean. The unit pictures shown on the website are a bait-and-switch. Do not rent a unit sight unseen. Whomever paints units does not protect anything. Expect huge amounts of white paint places it should not be, as well as latex paint constantly peeling off of cabinets and walls. I've never seen such poorly maintained cabinets. Cabinets don't close all the way, they are coated thick in latex paint, that peels all the time onto whatever you put in them. Cabinets are sticky, and its the cheap paint. The entire complex repeatedly had water outages because the pipes were failing. These outages lasted for days. Warning from office staff would either not come, or would come 10-20 minutes before the outage occurred. Office staff doesn't care, it's not their problem you can't flush your toilet or go to work without bathing. You will be sharing your water bill with the entire building. This means your neighbors excessive water use is now your problem. Hope you like $100 water bills, and $50 sewer bills every single month. Management uses Conservice to bill you for utilities. You get a nice $5 charge for the pleasure. The unit windows are single pane, and will accumulate moisture and mold. They will also cause your unit to be very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. Unit windows do not block sound, you can hear everything going on outside, including every time the trash pick up happens, or someone in their riced out civic guns it down the street at night. In this part of Livermore, that's every day, multiple times a day. If you have the displeasure of renting a ground floor room, the upstairs neighbors better have a light step, because you will hear every single step they make. Unit floors are thin, and creaky. You will hear them argue, you will hear them yell, you will hear them play music at 5am. Oh, management loves your pets, but only because they can charge you pet rent. That's a nice no-work fee they can tack on. Perhaps they claim its for cleanup, but you can still expect every single square foot of grass outside will be covered in dog feces. Hope you've read this far, and my review has persuaded you to look elsewhere. I don't look back on my time here happily. read more

This community looks great on the outside, but that's the only thing that has going for it. Kayla the new assistant manager is very unprofessional! The first time I met her she was on her personal phone. Great first impression. She should not work in property management! She gave out the wrong information and unfortunately, the apartment I really wanted got rented nor did she notify me it got rented or even contact me back with a follow-up. Every time I would come to the office on different days, the office is always closed. They never answer their phone even if you leave a voicemails asking for them to call you back they never call you back! I am so happy I did not rent here with my family. DO NOT RENT HERE! Ironwood decided to put the impossible to remove stickers on cars that they feel violate their policies today. This is literally the shittest thing you can do to one of your residents who pay extortionist prices to live here. This isn't an image of my car and this isn't the only car they did this to. These cars are parked in their own assigned parking spaces. One of these cars got this sticker put on their car because of expired registration. Since when is an apartment complex authorised to enforce California vehicle law? What if the owner of this vehicle legally applied for a planned non-op permit for this vehicle this year? Where to begin. My husband and I are looking to move and we schedule an appointment to view these apartments yesterday July 19, 2020. We knew that because of the pandemic we would have to do a self guided tour and we were okay with that. We arrived at 2:00PM (the time of our appointment) and the office was closed. We asked someone from maintenance for Elsa, the person we had the appointment with. He informed us that Elsa was off and we should wait for someone in the office to come back from lunch. I truly dislike when people are late but we waited, we were there already and we were very excited and ready to fill out an application. A little over 10 minutes later someone from the office arrived and gave us a map. She did not guide us so we were on our own. Once we arrived to the apartment we were welcome by a no so pleasant smell. We kept walking and noticed that the apartment was duty, some things were broken and on top of all someone had been doing their laundry there and had left the washer duty (with dogs/cats fur) and their clothes on top of the kitchen stove. we were beyond disappointed. Nevertheless we decided to tour the second apartment. Same conditions. it smelled horrible. feeling like we waisted our time we went back to the office and told them about our experience. All we got was an "okay", she did not address our pictures or issues and she let us go. Checking online, there are around 14 units free but the lady from the office couldn't find it within her to show us a different unit that was not dirty or stinky. We are sad that our time did not matter but we hope that by writing a review and complaining they fix these issues so future tenants do not encounter them Thank you. read more

This makes me sad to post because we actually enjoyed our time here up until covid. We tried our best- we really did. We reached out for any sort of assistance when the shut downs first started- nothing. Trying to have patience, I called multiple times before deciding to move out. Our lease was coming to an end and we needed our new lease options and to find out if prices were going to increase, if we needed to sign a new lease etc. I called everyday for weeks. The voicemail wasn't even working so I could leave a message, just ring ring ring hang up. I knocked out the office but it was always closed. I FINALLY got ahold of someone when I put in an inquiry to move out- she said "oh yeah I just started but our phones have been broken. I'll let the property manager know you want to hear your options". More radio silence for weeks. We decided to move out- asked the property manager when she finally did call us for a final amount we would owe & a move out checklist to make sure we could get the necessary cleaning done without having to get our deposit taken. None of these items were ever received. Instead we were charged for a full month of rent instead of prorated amount. When i called, I was advised to "just pay it and they'll reimburse us for it later after move out." Yeah.... okay. Couldn't even get ahold of you when I did live there, but I should trust to get a call back and a refund after we've moved out? The living conditions were good and we actually enjoyed our time here until the last few months. Worst move out experience I've ever had. But don't worry... the property management company was SUPER quick to move out when they realized the balance hadn't been paid. Apparently you just have to owe them money to get anyone to act like you exist. Oh yeah, we also had mice that would run through our apartment. All they did was place a sticky trap under the stove. My college aged son and I toured an apartment at Ironwood last week and liked it and wanted to move here. We were told that there were some move in specials and to go online and fill out an application. We did the online application but the specials weren't reflected on the website . I was able to submit my application without paying yet and a message came up saying someone would contact me. I received no call or email. I tried calling three days in a row and have left numerous messages but have heard anything back. I guess they don't really want anyone moving in. I've read other messages on here about the management being unresponsive and It seems to be true. read more

When my partner and I moved in, one of the bedrooms smelled strongly of urine. Management assured us that the carpet had just been cleaned and it would take a few days for the smell to dissipate. We waited, but the awful smell persisted. We raised the issue again and they agreed to have the carpet recleaned. Afterwards, the cleaning scents faded and the smell of urine returned. Eventually management agreed that the carpet would have to be replaced. When workers *peeled* the carpet off the floor boards, we discovered a giant urine stain several feet in diameter. Although I credit the management for eventually addressing the issue, the smelly bedroom wasn't unusable for a month after we moved in. The gall of the situation is that when we moved out one year later they charged us $115 for a carpet cleaning! Let me emphasize that we never spilled anything on the carpet and meticulously cleaned before we left. At the move-out inspection the staff member said, "I wish all tenants left the apartment this clean." In any case, I was under the impression that we could only be charged for damage, but management disagrees. In any case, this situation cannot be construed as fair-minded given what we had to deal with. We endeavored to maintain positive and respectful relationships with staff during our stay, including forgiving the initial unpleasantness, but when I raised my objection to the cleaning fee to management, I was sternly rebuffed. The bottom line is: if you discover a major sanitary issue when you move in, get a rebate on your rent until it is fixed. Decency will not be reciprocated. read more

This review has been a long time coming- I wanted to make sure we got some of our deposit back before reviewing. DO NOT MOVE HERE! My husband and I lived here for two years, two years ago it was awesome. Reasonably priced, awesome neighbors, and peaceful living. Then Avenue 5 took over almost a year ago and they have turned this place into a living nightmare. The staff changes monthly and continue to treat the residents like garbage, there are cars parked in the lots without wheels on taking up the VERY limited parking places, continuing mixed messages from staff members, and constant broken pool and spa. What was the worst of if all was the staff. They talked to us like we are children, very condescending and belittling. It felt like they had a script they memorized and could only say what was on it, so they would listen for key words and say their script. EVEN IF IT DIDN'T FIT WHAT YOU WERE ASKING! Then when the move out came, we got majorly screwed over with the things they wanted us to pay and if I had an energy or Hope left in fighting things, I would of. My husband and I both looked up the laws on what can and cannot be charged and these apartments broke all the laws on it. When looking at the listings online you can see they have 30+ apartments open right now- that's because they price gouged all their tenants and made us move. Now the people who are moving in are loud, messy, and immature. Overall, this place sucks! It used to be so great and I loved living there, until avenue 5 came along. ALSO! I have lived here just over a year now. From the beginning I had a hard time getting them to do any maintenance in my apartment. Well this gets better. I submitted a maintenance request in June for a dead bathroom exhaust fan that I needed replaced. (A 5 minute job). Well here it is now August and still have heard nothing from the office. Well I had to replace the fan myself a few weeks ago and then I tried to get a hold of the office with my receipt for the part and cant get them to call me back at all. Ive left messages, sent emails, sent text messages and nothing. Now here it is now August 2nd and my lease is up on 8/18 and I cant get a hold of anybody for a renewal. This place is an absolute DUMP. Do not let the "model unit" fool you. The units are old, falling apart and not sanitary. We didn't even last 24 hours here before breaking our lease. There was trash all over the grounds, a broken stroller just sitting in the middle of the parking lot and our neighbors looked like hoarders. In our unit, the popcorn ceiling was cracked and falling down, there was dried urine all over the toilet and bathroom walls, pubic hairs in the bathroom, old food splatters dried on to the kitchen ceiling, spider webs in the kitchen cabinets, pink stains in the carpets, a mold infested washing machine, the baseboards covered in dirt and dust and not to mention BROWN WATER when you turn the shower faucet on. The faucets were also extremely old and rusty. The windows are very old and not safe. I'm a small woman and they shook and rattled just from me walking around. The windows are also single pane, so they block out zero noise. Not to mention we could hear the unit below us watch a movie and have a conversation. Literally the loudest apartment I've ever spend the night in. This place is just all around feels GROSS. The staff here is also a joke. Very unprofessional and lazy. If you're a family looking for a safe place or young professionals like us, this is not the place for you! DO NOT LIVE HERE. We are now renting a newly remodel house in a very desired neighborhood for only a few hundred more than what we were paying at this dump. read more

I have lived here for almost a year and still love it. The reason I'm leaving this review is because our dryer broke and it has taken 4 days to fix because we have a husky in our apartment. I spoke with Ann Marie today after I got off work at 5. I asked if they could issue a credit to the laundry room so I could at least wash my sons clothes, but instead she rekeyed an empty apartment so I could use their washer and dryer. I don't know why we pay almost $5 a month for "pest control" when the spider infestation is ridiculous. I'm not complaining about the charge, it is cheap but what are they even doing?! Everyday we find spiders in our apt. And not tiny harmless ones either. Big, gross dangerous ones. Every inch of our patio is covered in cobwebs, we can't even enjoy it. I loved the layout of the apartment and the size of the kitchen. However I didn't like the pest control problem that ultimately led to me moving out after only being there for three months. The first day I moved in a neighbor told me that there was a pest problem but I didn't believe her so I went to the office and asked and they told me that they had no known account of any pest control issues so I let it be. two weeks later their were pest in my apartment. I alerted management they said they would get someone out there to come and look and they did, they actually had someone come out multiple times to no avail still have pest running around. Also when I moved in my apartment wasn't fully ready and it took 45 days to fix the apartment. They offered me a $600 credit for my trouble but I still had the pest control problem so she offered to give me a different apartment but someone end up getting it before I could because it took her some days to respond to me. This whole experience was traumatizing to me and my son and finally she gave me the option to wait till February 15 to transfer to another apartment or give a 30 day notice which I did and they still are charging me for February. I only left because of the pest problem not being fixed and she gave me the option to leave. Some of the leasing office staff was very rude when you would call to ask for help. I didn't want to leave but I had no choice I really liked the look of my apartment wish I could've ended differently. I even had to throw most of my stuff away. Very difficult administration, not nice or sympathetic. I had to call on multiple times during the day to be able to find someone at the office. I was charged extra for an apt with washer/dryer. I called the first week and asked to have someone check the dryer, which wasn't working. I waited patiently for weeks to have someone come in to fix it. I called again and was told they had some apts with emergencies and wouldn't be able to help me soon. I called again after almost a month of paying extra rent for a washer/dryer and finally someone came to fix my dryer. The dryer had never been installed, but I was charged the extra rent for a whole month. During the hot months the only air conditioner unit in the living room did not cool enough. During the winter month the heater did not work, even though I called 3 times and some simple work was done to temporarily fix it. For many of the past very cold winter nights I had to sleep with a sweater, a beanie, and 2 heavy blankets. But still, I was charged for the utilities that include the heater, which all my building was enjoying except for me. I commute for work and come home late. I had my rent on automatic pay from my bank, without utilities because that amount was different every month. I wouldn't receive a bill on time to know how much the utilities were to be able to pay them on time. On 2 occasions an embarrassing message from the office was taped to my door stating that I owed past rent. This was just $100-$115 for utilities which were past due for a day or two. For this amount and only a day or 2 after their due date I was fined $100. So, I had to pay over $300 for utilities, $110 for the utilities, $100 fine, plus an advance of $110 to ensure that I won't be unfairly fined for the next month. During the year, the people that clean the yards, blow all the leaves into the balcony instead of picking them up. You have to clean a balcony full of leaves at least once a month. read more

I have been a resident here for almost two years. I'm generally a very easy going person and this is my first 1-star Yelp review ever. The service has been very poor. I had downstairs neighbors that would fight loudly at 2AM, 3AM, 5AM and wake up my family regularly. They would also hit our floor with a broom to bother us and repeated calls to the management did nothing. This lasted for over six months and was awful. My drier broke twelve days ago (they broke the drier during a routine lint maintenance). I called the management three times to ask that it be repaired and they still haven't come to fix it. The rent here is cheap and the management has been kind on the phone and offered guarantees to fix things but has very poor follow-thru and is ineffective. read more

Her downstairs neighbors were daily banging on the ceiling with a broom and the management did nothing despite repeated calls and even police involvement. The management is incredibly slow at fixing anything. For example, her dryer has been broken for over a month (they broke it) and despite over 5 calls, they still haven't fixed it. The apartments are ok. Neighbors have been pretty good. The apartment mgmt, leaves a lot to be desired! No follow through. Cassandra is absolutely worthless. She cannot think for herself. Only knows what her computer tells her. Maintanence is ok. We had a issue once that took them 5 days to come take care of. By that time we had hired an outside company to take care of the problem. The pool in the summer is a joke. The management could care less about what goes on in there. I cannot take my kids because of the excessive drinking and people bringing hoards of friends (limit is two guests) It's a free for all. Pay your bills on time, mind your business and pray you don't need mgmt help ever. read more

One of the nicer, quieter and more family oriented areas to live in Livermore - easy access to downtown, shopping centers and can even walk to a few of the wineries & breweries located on Vasco Rd. read more

I am happy with my apartment, the area, and the community. The management staff are especially helpful and courteous. If I were to change anything it would be to put solar canopies over the parking spaces. This trend is taking place throughout Livermore and the electricity generated partially pays for the installation. read more

I toured another property right before, and although the space was a little bigger, customer service is a real insight on how concerns and issues will be handled in the future. We lived at Ironwood for 5 years in a 1-bed ground floor unit. PROS: Never had any break-ins (apartment or car) Never had any issues walking alone in neighborhood New laminate flooring and carpet when we moved in New stove, fridge, and DW when we moved in (you have to supply your own microwave) Kitchen sink has a garbage disposal Stacked W/D in unit Pet friendly Close to trails and parks Rent did not increase from 2020 to 2021 (On one hand, depending where you're moving from, Ironwood's rates seem on par with the East Bay market. On the other hand, paying what we did for a 640 square-foot apartment was a sticker shock when factors such as lack of central heat/AC, and cons below, are considered.) CONS: We had two major maintenance issues specific to our unit that were not resolved until we repeatedly followed up and provided photo/video evidence. On three occasions our entire building's sewage line was compromised, resulting in malfunctioning toilets for a half to full day. In a 2021 incident, we reported the issue in the evening to the after-hours answering service and called twice the next day. Despite all units in the building being affected, the repair crew didn't show up until late morning, more than 12 hours after the problem began. During a pandemic it can be hard to find a public restroom if you work from home and depend on a working toilet. This third incident took more than 20 hours to resolve. Just a couple weeks later, the water pressure dropped to a trickle and there was no notification of maintenance being done or how long until it would be fixed, and the mailboxes were blocked off (they are located near the sewage line) with no alternative. Bottom line, we couldn't count on management to prioritize an emergency or communicate effectively during one. We had to remind them that we needed a lease renewal, which requires a 30-day notice if you want to leave. But they give it to you with about 32-35 days until expiration, so you have to already decide if you're leaving before you see what the renewal rates will be. Rent invoice was only ever sent to one person's email address, despite mass emails about social events being sent to everyone. It's rare to get a person on the phone when you call the office. They have reduced hours during the pandemic, but voicemails and emails are not always returned. It's difficult to know which number to call or email address to contact for maintenance, security, or rent issues. We got notices about fire alarm inspections taking place at a certain day/time and needing access to our apartment. These didn't always happen, so it's tough if you have to make arrangements for a pet to be secured, for example. The online interface for paying rent is very confusing. It gives you the impression you owe nothing or less than what you actually owe even if you just received the invoice email stating otherwise. Water pressure is terrible. It surges rhythmically even if you don't have any other faucets turned on or the washer or DW running. Sometimes this means the toilet can't flush properly. Also, the shower often turns scalding unexpectedly. Utilities seem high for 640 square feet. While the new appliances are energy efficient, other features are energy draining. The windows are original and therefore drafty; same with the front door. These apartments do not have central heat/AC. The wall AC unit is in the living room, and even with strategically placed fans, it was a challenge to cool off the bedroom, especially when temps rise above 100 and/or there's wildfire smoke. The gas heater is on the wall that separates the kitchen from the W/D closet. We turned it on once and discovered that it only warmed the area right in front of it, so we used space heaters instead. Our apartment smelled like smoke when we moved in, even though this is a nonsmoking residence. We ran an air purifier for two days. read more

On move in day, we waited 3 hours in front of the office because they didn't have our keys ready. Then they say they have to change the locks as well. All of this should've been done days before a move in date. We gave them a weeks notice and told the exact date of when we'll be moving in. They say their maintenance has to do this and that.... seriously? What a great way to start a lease with this company. Obviously they don't care about new residents. They happily accepted the check though. read more

Dont rent from ironwood and Avenue 5. Starting out here was nice but as soon as the new manager came in the problems started. The apartment complex is very old and in disrepair. The water pipes screech from the downstairs neighbors and the washer and dryers are really loud. We get complaints from our neighbors because the walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone around you. The management company doesn't follow the own policy but they willl make sure they look for loopholes to make your life hell. read more
